I Can Evolve Spirit Elementals
Chapter 132: A Little More Fun
Chapter 132: Chapter 132: A Little More Fun
The remaining beasts charged again.
This time, Shiro and Snow didn’t rush forward.
They had already learned from their mistakes.
Shiro moved first, planting his paws against the frozen ground.
Damon watched closely.
There was something different about him.
Shiro had never had the chance to use his third Art before.
But now he did.
A faint glow spread from the crystals around his horns.
Then a thin layer of frost appeared over his body before flowing toward Snow.
It settled over the Frost Lynx like a soft layer of mist.
Caelia noticed it immediately.
She looked at Snow, then at Shiro.
"What did he just do?"
Damon smiled.
"So he really had another one."
Caelia looked at him.
"You knew?"
"Not exactly."
Damon watched Shiro carefully.
"But he seemed pretty confident about this fight."
Caelia’s eyes returned to Snow.
The Frost Lynx was still injured, but her breathing had already become steadier.
The bleeding from her earlier wounds had slowed.
Even her movements looked more controlled.
Caelia understood.
"This is a support Art."
Damon nodded.
"Winter’s Blessing."
He sounded almost proud.
"It stabilizes their body and Aether. It should reduce fatigue and pain, slow bleeding and help them maintain their concentration."
Caelia looked at him.
"You really like this one."
"Of course."
Damon grinned.
"A good support Art can change an entire fight."
That was exactly what happened.
Winter’s Blessing.
Shiro’s third Art didn’t heal their wounds.
Instead, it helped their bodies keep going.
It was exactly the kind of Art Shiro needed.
A thin layer of controlled frost covered Snow and Shiro as they moved.
The pain didn’t disappear.
Their injuries were still there.
But the exhaustion that had started weighing them down became much easier to handle.
Damon smiled.
"No wonder you weren’t worried."
Through their bond, he had felt Shiro’s confidence.
The little Frost Qilin had been keeping something hidden.
"Not bad, Shiro."
Shiro’s ears lifted.
Caelia gave a small laugh.
"You’re praising him in the middle of a fight."
"He earned it."
Snow suddenly moved.
The nearest B rank beast opened its jaws.
A wave of freezing mist exploded from its mouth.
The temperature dropped sharply.
The ground beneath Snow’s paws froze solid.
She didn’t stop.
She slid across the ice instead, twisting her body just as a massive shard of ice shot past her.
Boom!
The shard struck the ground behind her and shattered.
Snow immediately changed direction.
Shiro raised one paw.
Ice erupted from the ground.
A wall formed between Snow and the beast.
The B rank beast slammed into it.
Crack!
The wall broke.
But Snow was already gone.
Shiro’s eyes narrowed.
He had seen enough.
The same Ice Art wouldn’t catch them twice.
More ice spread across the ground.
This time, it wasn’t a wall.
It became a series of raised platforms and narrow paths.
Snow understood immediately.
She ran across them.
The beast tried to follow.
Its claws tore through the ice as it chased her.
Then Shiro moved.
Several thick ice chains burst from the ground.
Frost Chains!
They wrapped around the beast’s front legs.
The beast roared and forced its body upward.
The chains cracked.
One broke.
Shiro didn’t panic.
Two more chains grew from the broken pieces.
The beast’s eyes widened.
It swung its massive body and shattered another chain.
More appeared.
One wrapped around its hind leg.
Another caught its waist.
The beast roared and released another Ice Art.
A ring of sharp ice spikes exploded outward.
Shiro raised his head.
A Frozen Barrier formed.
The spikes slammed into the barrier.
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
The barrier shook.
Shiro slid backward slightly.
But it held.
Snow used the opening.
She rushed around the beast and struck its exposed side.
Claws tore through its icy armor.
The beast turned immediately.
Snow didn’t stay.
She retreated along the path Shiro had created.
The beast followed.
That was exactly what Shiro wanted.
Another section of the ground rose.
The beast stepped onto it.
The ice collapsed.
Its front leg sank into the opening.
Frost Chains erupted from below.
They wrapped around its leg before spreading across its body.
The beast struggled.
Its massive body shook the surrounding ice.
Shiro kept his distance.
He wasn’t trying to overpower it anymore.
He was controlling it.
Damon’s eyes lit up.
"He’s learning."
Caelia nodded.
"He’s using everything around him."
"Exactly."
Damon grinned.
"He’s not fighting the beast anymore. He’s fighting the battlefield."
The beast finally broke free.
It immediately released another Ice Art.
This time, dozens of sharp icicles appeared in the air.
They shot toward Shiro.
Shiro didn’t retreat.
He lowered his body.
The ice beneath him rose.
A curved barrier formed around his body.
The icicles crashed against it.
At the same time, Snow rushed through the gaps.
She reached the beast before it could react.
The Frost Lynx struck.
The beast staggered.
Snow immediately backed away.
Shiro dropped the barrier.
His horns glowed.
More Frost Chains shot from the ground.
The beast tried to move.
Too late.
One chain caught its leg.
Another wrapped around its neck.
A third pulled its body sideways.
The beast roared and tried to break free.
Snow appeared at its side again.
This time, she didn’t attack immediately.
She waited.
The beast swung its claws.
Snow ducked.
Its claws passed above her head.
She moved beneath its body and struck upward.
The beast stumbled.
Shiro pulled the chains.
Its balance broke completely.
Snow jumped.
Her claws flashed.
Slash!
The beast crashed onto the ice.
It tried to rise.
Snow landed on its back.
Another strike followed.
The beast stopped moving.
Caelia stared.
The fight had changed completely.
Snow was faster.
Shiro was smarter.
And together, they were covering each other’s weaknesses.
The remaining beasts saw their companion fall and charged.
Shiro immediately spread Frostbound Sanctuary across the battlefield.
Ice covered the ground.
Walls rose between the beasts.
The two B rank beasts were separated.
Snow moved between them.
One of the beast released a freezing breath.
Shiro raised a wall, blocking the attack.
