I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece
Chapter 449: SVOP - 449
Chapter 449: SVOP: Chapter 449
"You’re far better at healing than fighting... your understanding and application of Holy Light are far too shallow."
Vladimir couldn’t help but shake his head.
Holy Light inherently possessed restorative properties, but using it to destroy enemies required skill and mastery.
Given the same amount of energy, Vladimir’s methods were vastly superior to theirs.
"Who exactly are you?! You are definitely no Divine General! No General could possibly possess power like yours!"
Rigo panted heavily. Seeing Vladimir approach, his heart shook with fear, yet he shouted, "What is your purpose here?!"
Gripping his spear tightly, he slowly struggled back to his feet.
In the next instant, four figures flew swiftly from the horizon. In the blink of an eye, four more armored figures with wings descended.
Three men and one woman, the new arrivals hovered in mid-air, their expressions extremely grave.
"This situation... it is beyond our ability to handle."
"It seems Rigo is no match for him at all. This person wields Holy Light of terrifying strength."
"We must summon the Saintess!"
"Let us pray she answers our call..."
Immediately, the four began to pray, whispering softly in unison.
A moment later, four pillars of holy light shot upward, merging high above to form a vast cloud of radiant energy.
"Interesting... so the Angel Fruit can grant others the power of Holy Light?"
Vladimir looked up at the glowing cloud, where a figure was slowly taking shape within.
"You should leave now. Stay here, and when the fighting starts, I won’t hold back. If you get caught in the crossfire and die, don’t blame me."
Hearing this, Dax scratched his head. "I should thank you for bringing me this far. Running away now would be dishonorable... but my crew is locked up in the Celestial Prison. I have to go find them first. I hope you stay safe. Farewell, friend!"
With that, he turned and ran without hesitation.
The rest of the circus members followed close behind.
Vladimir was speechless for a moment. Fine words, but he didn’t hesitate for a second when it came time to run.
Just then, the glowing cloud in the sky shifted and swirled.
A clear, melodious female voice rang out. "So it is you... I knew you would come eventually, though I did not expect you so soon."
As the voice fell, a beam of light descended, and within it, a stunningly beautiful woman floated slowly downward.
She possessed a pair of pure, sacred white wings, and her descent carried an aura of overwhelming majesty.
"We welcome you, Lady Saintess!"
The five Divine Generals bowed low, their faces filled with devout reverence.
"You are the Saintess?" Vladimir looked her over.
She wore light, flowing white garments resembling a wedding dress, and above her head floated a strange, luminous white halo.
"How did you know it was us?" Vladimir asked curiously.
"My name is Angelle, Saintess of the Divine Kingdom."
The woman smiled gently. "Welcome to the Sky Kingdom, Divine Archangel of Phantom."
"Hahaha..."
Vladimir chuckled. "Too late for welcomes. Don’t think we’ve forgotten what you did nine years ago. But before we get to that — answer me this: How did you know it was me?"
"I did not know it was you specifically. But within Phantom, there is only one being who commands Holy Light and possesses such overwhelming power — the Divine Archangel."
Angelle remained smiling, showing no fear that Vladimir might attack her suddenly. "The All-Knowing Tree told me. You are likely wondering what that is? I am afraid I cannot answer that."
Hearing this, Vladimir simply pulled back his hood, revealing his face clearly.
The five Divine Generals gasped in shock.
"Phantom... the Archangel!!"
Rigo’s heart trembled violently. He knew of the Archangel’s reputation. No wonder this man commanded such immense Holy Light — this was a true angel.
"Archangel... surely you have come regarding the events of nine years ago. That was all due to the actions of Reik..."
"Spare me the excuses. It is too late to claim it was just a misunderstanding now."
Vladimir clenched his right hand in the air, instantly materializing a spear of pure Holy Light.
"Rest assured... just because you are a woman, I will not show you any mercy."
With a sharp whoosh, the spear was launched straight at her.
Angelle sighed, spreading her arms wide and letting the spear fly toward her.
Thwack!
In an instant, the spear pierced straight through her chest.
"Lady Saintess!"
The five Generals cried out in alarm.
"Lady Saintess!"
As the spear of light pierced through Angelle’s chest, the five Divine Generals watched in horror, grief washing over them.
Crack... crack... crack...
Her body seemed to freeze in place. From the wound in her chest, fractures of fading light spread outward until they covered her entire form.
The next moment, with a sound like shattering crystal, her body dissolved into a cloud of glittering dust.
"Hmm?"
Vladimir raised an eyebrow, focusing his senses outward. "Something similar to a clone or projection, perhaps?"
It was only a guess, but he was certain that wasn’t her true body. If it had been, and she had dared to take his full-force attack head-on like that, she truly would have been asking for death.
As he pondered, another beam of light descended from the holy cloud above, and Angelle’s figure reformed within it once more.
