Chapter 450: SVOP: Chapter 450

"Lady Saintess!" The Divine Generals cried out in great relief.

Angelle raised her hand to stop them, then looked at Vladimir.

"Archangel, what happened nine years ago was originally a misunderstanding. According to my later investigation, Reik acted entirely on his own initiative."

Vladimir remained unmoved. He asked bluntly, "Was it you who ordered those pirate crews, including Reik’s, to do it?"

"It was."

"Then there is nothing more to say."

Vladimir chuckled softly. "I have no interest in the details. Since you purchased the blueprint but failed to deliver the agreed number of fruits, you have committed an act of provocation against us. I am the Master of the Skies, and I have come to eliminate your kingdom."

As his words fell, an intense, radiant Holy Light erupted from his body, bathing him in a sacred aura like a true angel of the heavens.

In the next moment, three pairs of wings burst open from his back.

With a single powerful beat of his six wings, he shot forward like a beam of light, appearing instantly right before Angelle.

"So fast...!"

Angelle’s pupils contracted, yet she made no move to dodge.

She only felt a sharp pain in her neck as she was seized in a vice-like grip.

"Lady Saintess!" The five Generals were horrified and immediately prepared to attack.

But Angelle quickly raised her hand again to hold them back.

"Archangel... Phantom stands above all others, and we do not wish to be your enemy. I am willing to offer 20 fruits to resolve this misunderstanding."

"Hahaha..."

Vladimir looked at her calmly. "Hand over all 75 fruits, and I might consider giving you a chance to beg for mercy."

Only a chance to beg. Whether he would actually show mercy or not depended entirely on his mood.

Angelle sighed. "I regret to say that while we did possess nearly a hundred Devil Fruits in the past, we have none left now — only these 20. If that does not satisfy you, could you grant us some time? I can send people out to gather more."

"Still trying to negotiate terms? Do you really think I cannot kill you?"

Vladimir spoke evenly. "I know that what stands before me is merely an avatar, something like a soul projection. But your true body is definitely somewhere on this island. Finding you would take me no effort at all."

He paused, then sneered. "Furthermore, do you think that just because you possess the Angel Fruit, you stand on equal footing with me? Let me tell you plainly: among angels, the higher the rank, the greater the power — and this is shown by the number of wings. You... a little angel with only one pair of wings... dare to challenge me?"

Hearing this, Angelle fell silent for a moment, a look of distress flashing in her eyes.

She truly did not wish to make an enemy of Phantom. Because of the All-Knowing Tree, she understood far more about them than others, and thus knew exactly how terrifying they were.

They were beings from a higher dimension, a mysterious organization that crossed worlds. What existed in this world was likely just the tip of the iceberg of the true Phantom.

During the nine years they vanished, she had guessed that they had simply returned to their own realm.

The reasoning was simple: she had posed this very question to the All-Knowing Tree, consumed a Leaf of Answers, and received the reply: Phantom is not in this world.

Thinking of this, she sighed. "Archangel, I..."

"I have run out of patience."

Vladimir’s gaze sharpened. Massive Holy Light gathered in his palm. "Holy Impact!"

Blinding white light surged violently. With a thunderous crash, the Saintess in his grip was utterly annihilated in an instant. Not even a speck of dust remained.

"Lady Saintess!!"

Rigo’s eyes widened, turning blood-red with rage. He roared and charged forward, spear raised high.

Seeing this, the other Generals also attacked, desperate to avenge her.

"A bunch of brainwashed fools."

Vladimir couldn’t be bothered to deal with them properly. He slapped out with his left hand, releasing a wave of concentrated holy energy.

"Holy Judgment!"

BOOM!

In an instant, all five were swallowed up by the light.

The next moment, Vladimir flapped his wings and shot upward, rushing toward the uppermost tier of the island.

With the Archangel’s speed, the distance was covered in the blink of an eye.

He burst through a layer of cloud and landed before a magnificent structure.

It was a massive building built in the style of a cathedral — not made of cloud material, but constructed from solid stone.

Just then, footsteps echoed from within the tall entrance, and Angelle’s figure slowly walked out.

Unlike her angelic form, she wore no halo above her head now.

Suddenly, a loud, arrogant laugh rang out.

"It looks like you’ve got big trouble. Yahahaha! Beg me, and I might just help you out."

Crackle!

A streak of lightning flashed, and beside Angelle, the power of thunder condensed into a human shape.

The figure had long, pointed ears, and four strange drums attached to his back, arranged in a circle and etched with black magatama patterns.

Right now, the man floated cross-legged in mid-air, holding a long golden staff.

"Beg me! Yahahaha!" The man laughed loudly. "Though, if you die, it’ll be a hassle for me too. I need you to guide the way to the Endless Land, so you’d better stay alive."

"Enel... the so-called ’God’," Angelle spoke softly.

"Do you even know who he is? He is the Master of the Skies from Phantom, the Divine Archangel. Never mind... you wouldn’t understand anyway. You’re just a fool lost in your own delusions of grandeur."

"What did you say, woman?!" Enel narrowed his eyes, electricity crackling violently around him.

"I came here not to beg for your guidance, but to command you as a God. My Ark Maxim is nearly complete. Whether I take you back to the Moon or not... depends entirely on my mood!"

Angelle fell silent, seemingly too tired to argue with him.

"Hahaha..."

Vladimir laughed. "Enel... user of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. You think just because you ate a Logia-type, you are invincible? You truly are ignorant... and yet you dare to speak so boastfully."

This man was not a native of this kingdom, but the self-proclaimed ’God’ of another Sky Island nation.

Enel instantly shifted his full attention to Vladimir. "No one... absolutely no one, may defy the will of a God!"

He slammed his golden staff down hard against the drums on his back.

Instantly, the power of thunder roared forth, transforming into a dragon of lightning that lunged straight at Vladimir.

"Raikou."
