Chapter 763: Sun God's Interception 2

The two had different destinations. Su Ze teleported directly to the entrance of the core area, where the spaceships were docked, while Dou Yi randomly picked a planet to explore.

By this time, Mr. Ya and the others had already left the Public Star Realm aboard another Sun God-level spaceship, the Heroic Ship, and were waiting for Su Ze just outside.

Su Ze boarded his own Moon God-level spaceship, which was parked outside. He didn’t use the Magic Cube directly.

The spaceship slowly departed, heading toward the outer edge of the Public Star Realm.

Quite a few people were leaving along with him. Many had come specifically for the auction, and now that it was over, they were all departing.

Su Ze followed the main flow of spaceships, eventually landing on an ordinary planet near the exit of the Public Star Realm.

The planet had pleasant scenery and would have been a great place for a vacation.

Su Ze, however, wasn’t in the mood for that… He had landed here simply because it was crowded.

Dou Yi was still fine, but Su Ze wasn’t sure if he himself was being targeted.

Su Ze could pilot his ship out of the Public Star Realm right now and rendezvous with Mr. Ya and the others.

But if someone was secretly following him, that would mean leading danger right to Mr. Ya’s crew.

After a moment’s thought, Su Ze gritted his teeth. ‘I’ll just use the Replacement Skill!’

‘It doesn’t matter if anyone is following me or not. Using the Replacement Skill is the safest option.’

However, he needed to make some preparations before using the Replacement Skill.

The Replacement Skill couldn’t transport other living beings, and he currently had a Tier-9 Dark Blood Giant Beast with him.

The Dark Blood Giant Beast was sealed and immobilized inside a spatial storage item.

Su Ze’s solution was simple… just kill it.

Even though it was a Tier-9 beast, it was bound by the seal and completely unable to fight back. Su Ze used his Qi Seed to kill it, extinguishing its life force.

However, he deliberately restrained the Qi Seed, preventing it from absorbing the energy within the Dark Blood Giant Beast’s body to keep the corpse intact.

Mu Wang could use a freshly deceased corpse for his soul-possession technique, but to guarantee the body would retain its Tier-9 combat power afterward, its Evolutionary Material and various energies had to be preserved.

After killing the Dark Blood Giant Beast, Su Ze activated the Replacement Skill right there in the ship. He abandoned the Moon God-level spaceship, swapping places with a replacement subject that had been prepared on the Hero.

Spatial energy fluctuated violently. A ripple spread through the space where Su Ze had been standing. His figure vanished, and in his place stood a Star God of the Bag Race.

It was a Star God captive Su Ze had prepared in advance, a puppet controlled by his Blood and Flesh Parasite, specifically to serve as a decoy.

Meanwhile, Su Ze had appeared aboard the Heroic Ship, outside the Public Star Realm.

The moment Su Ze appeared, Mr. Ya and the others crowded around him. Without wasting any words, Su Ze gave a direct order:

“Let’s go! Ship to full speed!”

The Hero accelerated to maximum velocity, heading for the coordinates of the Super Star.

Su Ze immediately went into a room, preparing to have Mu Wang possess the body while the opportunity was ripe.

「Meanwhile」, the Bag Race Star God who had been swapped onto the Moon God-level spaceship inside the Public Star Realm began piloting the vessel. It left the Public Star Realm, picked a random direction, and flew off into the boundless cosmos.

But just as it left the vicinity of the Public Star Realm, it seemed to hit an invisible barrier, and the ship was forced to a halt.

A beam of light coalesced into a semi-corporeal figure. It had an eye on both the front and back of its head and possessed four arms—it was one of the Holy Race!

The Holy Race being landed on the ship and tore it open with its bare hands, ripping a gash in the hull. Immediately, however, its brow furrowed.

It stepped through the gash and into the ship, only to find a Bag Race Star God lying dead on the floor.

‘He actually swapped places with someone…’

‘I’m certain it wasn’t this Bag Race Star God in the ship before, but a Moon God who was concealing their race.’

…

「Back on the Hero」, Su Ze sensed the death of the parasitized Bag Race Star God. He muttered to himself, “Just as I thought. Someone was tailing me.”

His order to the Bag Race Star God had been to commit suicide as a warning at the first sign of trouble. Now that it was dead—whether by its own hand or another’s—the point was proven.

He breathed a sigh of relief. ‘Good thing I didn’t try to save the Replacement Skill.’

However, the Replacement Skill had a full one-month cooldown. For the next month, he would be unable to use his greatest life-saving ability.

Su Ze pushed the matter from his mind and focused on the task at hand.

Inside the Soul Nourishing Jade Stone, Mu Wang’s soul was in excellent condition, having absorbed a great deal of restorative tonics during this time.

Mu Wang was ready, but Su Ze wasn’t.

He was busy healing the Dark Blood Giant Beast’s wounds.

Once he had repaired the Dark Blood Giant Beast’s fatal wound, Su Ze allowed Mu Wang to begin possessing its body.

Strictly speaking, it wasn’t “possession,” since the Dark Blood Giant Beast was already dead. Mu Wang just needed to take control of the body, which wasn’t difficult.

As a Sun God-level soul taking over a Tier-9 beast’s corpse, the power levels were a perfect match. There would be no issue of his soul being too weak for the body.

Su Ze still hadn’t removed the seal on the Dark Blood Giant Beast. This was his method for restraining Mu Wang after the soul transfer.

He would only undo the seal after the Blood and Flesh Parasite was successful and had given him complete control over Mu Wang.

Otherwise, if a Tier-9 beast suddenly turned on him, Su Ze would be powerless to stop it.

The process went smoothly. Mu Wang took control of the Dark Blood Giant Beast’s body with relative ease. The mountain-sized beast’s eyes snapped open, its black-and-crimson pupils staring intently at Su Ze.
