I am the Clone of a Death Row Inmate
Chapter 717 - 389: Filthy Rich
"Let’s go to the Dou Race Planet."
There was still a mess to clean up on the Dou Race Planet.
There were still many Dou Race members there, and plenty of spoils to be seized.
Although all their Star Gods and Moon Gods had been killed, leaving only a group of Dou Race who had yet to ascend to godhood, they were unable to leave the planet and travel into space.
Besides, a Dou Race Sun God had arrived with reinforcements, giving them what they thought was the upper hand. The remaining Dou Race members were thus likely waiting for Balrog’s return and wouldn’t scatter.
Still, it was best to resolve the matter quickly to avoid any unforeseen complications.
...
On the Dou Race Planet, over thirty thousand Dou Race survivors were craning their necks, eagerly awaiting Balrog’s return.
Today had been a nightmare for them, a day they nearly faced annihilation.
The planet’s original population of over fifty thousand had been caught in the fighting, leaving only a little over thirty thousand survivors, many of them wounded.
Fortunately, at the last moment, Young Ancestor Balrog of the Dou Race had arrived and driven off the invaders.
’We’re saved!’ This was the shared sentiment of every surviving Dou Race member.
They wouldn’t—and dared not—imagine Balrog running into trouble while hunting down the enemy. ’He’s Young Ancestor Balrog, a Sun God powerhouse! A legendary figure renowned throughout the entire Dou Race.’
Thus, even though one or two relatively intact spaceships remained on the planet, no one considered trying to escape in them.
After all, for a group of weaklings who had yet to ascend to godhood, recklessly venturing into the cosmos in a spaceship was an enormous risk.
Besides, none of them had clearance to pilot the ships. The minimum rank for a pilot was Star God.
"Look! A ship is coming!" someone cried out.
The Dou Race members looked up one by one. Seeing the unfamiliar vessel, they couldn’t tell if its occupants were friend or foe.
"It must be Young Ancestor Balrog! He’s captured an enemy ship!"
someone yelled, though it was unclear if they were trying to reassure others or themself.
This was a Moon God-level Spaceship. The Magic Cube was damaged, so Su Ze and his people had taken a different ship this time.
When the spaceship landed and the surviving Dou Race saw the Nian Race—beings who were like demons in their eyes—walk down the ramp, their faces filled with disbelief.
"Where’s Young Ancestor Balrog?"
"Run!"
"Hide!"
The crowd descended into chaos. Some scattered and fled, some broke down sobbing, some panicked, and some just stood there in a daze...
Su Ze ignored the Dou Race members and gave the order, "Search!"
Mr. Ya and the others split up, beginning a systematic sweep.
All evolutionary resources, all spaceships, all valuables—nothing was to be left behind. Everything was to be seized.
This included frisking every Dou Race member for any hidden treasures.
Su Ze’s Perception Tentacles enveloped the entire planet, ensuring that nothing was missed.
With multiple Star Gods working together, they encountered no meaningful resistance, and the plunder proceeded at a rapid pace.
Guided by Su Ze, who acted as their "treasure-hunting radar," they managed to strip the entire planet in just one day.
Everyone returned with a full haul; the plundered resources filled the spaceship and several storage artifacts.
"Let’s go."
Without lingering, they boarded the ship and departed the Dou Race Planet.
Once in the vacuum of space, Su Ze exited the ship. He reached out, seized a nearby planet, compressed it to the size of his fist, and hurled it at the Dou Race Planet.
After Su Ze’s ascension to Moon God, his Meteor Impact skill had been upgraded to the eighth rank, now allowing him to compress entire planets.
There was no sound, only a surge of fiery light. The impact shattered the Dou Race Planet’s mantle. The world began to collapse in on itself, transforming into a searing ball of molten matter.
’Conflicts between races left no room for mercy. Among the Ten Thousand Races of the universe, it was simply a matter of devouring or being devoured. The entire cosmos abided by the law of the jungle.’
’If he were to be soft-hearted and spare the Dou Race today, they might one day reveal Zexing’s location, bringing annihilation down upon his home world.’
’If someone had to die, Su Ze preferred it to be someone else—not him, and not the Human Race.’
’The Ten Thousand Races of the universe were reproductively isolated from one another. That alone proved that different races shouldn’t view each other as equals.’
’As a member of the Human Race, Su Ze just had to treat all other races as if they were beasts.’
...
With the Dou Race contingent entrenched near Zexing annihilated, the crisis facing the planet was completely resolved.
The more than thirty thousand people who had been hiding in the underground base returned to the surface. Everything went back to normal.
Except now, Zexing was even wealthier!
The war had made the already prosperous Zexing fabulously wealthy.
The number of captured spaceships alone was staggering: one Sun God-level Spaceship, over a dozen Moon God-level Spaceships, and even more Star God-level Spaceships.
They had so many ships because the Dou Race had likely been waylaying and robbing others for some time.
However, many of the ships were damaged to varying degrees and required repairs.
Su Ze held a victory banquet for everyone, after which he began to distribute the resources.
Plundered resources were meant to be used to improve Zexing’s overall strength, but not to be wasted frivolously.
Su Ze was never stingy when it came to the resources Zexing’s evolvers needed to advance, but he didn’t hand out anything they couldn’t use.
Each person received exactly what they needed most at that moment.
As for the Star Gods who had fought alongside Su Ze, they naturally received extra rewards. In addition to evolutionary resources, they were given Divine Artifacts and a large number of contribution points, which could be exchanged for anything they wanted at the base.
Su Ze then assigned them their new tasks.
A large portion of the recent haul consisted of items they didn’t need and had to sell off.
There was also the matter of the numerous spaceships. Zexing couldn’t use so many at present. Su Ze especially looked down on the Star God-level Spaceships, so all of them were to be sold.
The two Sun God-level Spaceships and the numerous Moon God-level Spaceships all needed repairs.
If they tried to do all of this on a single Public Planet, it would attract too much attention. Selling off so many supplies at once, not to mention selling and repairing a large number of spaceships, would inevitably draw unwanted scrutiny.
Therefore, Lin Hua and the others would have to spread out across different Public Planets and complete their tasks in batches.
"Don’t rush the repairs for the two Sun God-level Spaceships. Once I’ve finished up here, I’ll take care of it personally."
After assigning the tasks, Su Ze returned to his room. It was time to take stock of his own gains from the battle.
