I am the Clone of a Death Row Inmate
Chapter 699 383: Interrogating King Die
Facing the menacing Dou Race experts, Su Ze first targeted the eight Dou Race Star Gods.
Eight liquid fists instantly formed inside his body, and he threw all eight punches at once.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
As if popping eight balloons, the bodies of the eight Dou Race Star Gods exploded, and they died on the spot.
The "Bloodthirsty" skill activated in advance, absorbing the flesh-and-blood energy from the eight Star Gods and plundering the Origin Genes from their bodies.
As for the attacks from the other few Star Gods, including the Moon God General, they did little more than warp Su Ze's form, at most chipping away a small part of his liquid body.
Su Ze turned his attention to the Dou Race Moon God, completely ignoring the other Star Gods. To him, their attacks were no different from being tickled.
Only then did these Dou Race experts understand why Su Ze had opened the Forbidden Demon Domain. Within this domain, they were completely helpless against his liquid form.
The Forbidden Demon Domain amplified their power, but it amplified Su Ze's even more.
Without the Forbidden Demon Domain, they might have been able to try various energy attacks.
Although the Dou Race excelled at close-quarters combat, that didn't mean they had no energy-based attack skills. Even if they didn't, they could still have used various Divine Artifacts.
But because of the Forbidden Demon Domain, they could only use pure physical attacks against Su Ze. It was like a group of strongmen trying to punch a giant ball of cotton—completely unable to exert their strength.
The Dou Race General wasn't faring much better than the other Dou Race Star Gods. His attacks also dealt limited damage to Su Ze.
And when Su Ze freed himself up to focus on him, the Dou Race General was easily suppressed.
It was an absolute suppression of strength. The Dou Race, famous for their physical prowess in close combat and proud of their power, were being completely overpowered by a Nian Race member of the same rank.
The angrier a member of the Dou Race becomes, the stronger their combat power grows.
At first, they fought Su Ze filled with rage. But as the fight wore on, they couldn't sustain their anger; Su Ze gradually extinguished it.
Now, little of their anger remained. All they felt was overwhelming fear.
A few breaths later, Su Ze had reduced the Dou Race General to a limbless torso, leaving only his head and body. He then tossed him into the Magic Cube to be imprisoned.
A few of the other Star Gods tried to flee, but Su Ze caught them all and threw them into the Magic Cube as well.
Su Ze didn't linger. He seized their Moon God-level Spaceship and immediately left the scene with Mr. Ya and the others.
No other Dou Race experts had arrived to provide backup during their battle, but Su Ze couldn't be sure if more were on their way.
Su Ze didn't return to Zexing immediately. Instead, he went back to Thousand Illusion Star.
He was worried there might be a tracking device on the Moon God-level Spaceship he had just captured. Additionally, a ship's owner could sense its location from a considerable distance.
If the captain of this ship wasn't the Dou Race General but some other Dou Race expert, rashly taking it back to Zexing could expose Zexing's location.
Furthermore, they currently had no control permissions for the ship, so they couldn't use it.
Arriving on Thousand Illusion Star, they spent a good deal of money to hire specialists to inspect the Dou Race spaceship and crack the captain's authority.
While they were at it, they had the captain's authority for the Nebula cracked as well.
This came at a considerable cost, but fortunately, the spoils from the recent battle were enough to cover the expense.
With the hidden dangers eliminated, Su Ze finally felt at ease stowing the ship away. He then piloted the Magic Cube back to Zexing.
On the way, Su Ze said to Mr. Ya, Lin Hua, and the others,
"Later, we'll split up and interrogate these captured Dou Race experts simultaneously. Then we'll compare their statements to verify the truth."
The Pope said, "The Dou Race are famous for being tough nuts to crack. Getting them to talk won't be easy."
Su Ze just smiled. 'There are plenty of ways to make someone talk: threats, bribes, Illusion Techniques, deceptions, and so on...'
'That said, I still prefer the Pope's 'Blood and Flesh Parasite' skill.'
'A single use is effective for life. Not only does it make the target talk obediently, but it also turns them into your most loyal subordinate.'
'Unfortunately, the Pope is still only Legendary-level, and his 'Blood and Flesh Parasite' skill is only a sixth-rank skill.'
'Even if I were to simulate it, it would only have the effect of a sixth-rank skill.'
'Trying to control a Star God, let alone a Moon God, with a sixth-rank 'Blood and Flesh Parasite' is simply impossible. The success rate is zero.'
"You should focus on increasing your strength soon, too," Su Ze said, looking at the Pope.
"Yes, Master," the Pope replied.
In truth, the Pope's power was already infinitely close to the Star God level. In fact, his body and soul had already ascended to godhood long ago; Su Ze had simply interrupted the fusion process.
Logically, the Pope should have been the first among this batch of Blue Star immigrants to become a Star God.
The reason he had never completed his seventh evolution was actually due to an order from Su Ze.
Previously, Su Ze had only been a Star God. Despite his immense combat power, his life level was a fixed limitation. If the Pope had also become a Star God, their life levels would have been equal. In that case, relying solely on a simulated, sixth-rank "Blood and Flesh Parasite" to maintain control would have created the risk of the Pope breaking free.
That was why Su Ze had been suppressing the Pope, preventing him from raising his life level.
But now that Su Ze had advanced to the Moon God level, the one-level difference in their life ranks gave him an inherent advantage, so that concern was gone.
Therefore, he told the Pope to complete his seventh evolution as soon as possible and to find a way to upgrade "Blood and Flesh Parasite" to a seventh-rank divine skill.
