Legend has it that the universe was forged by a Supreme Creator God. This Creator God brought forth Spiritual Plants, exotic beasts, and all sorts of strange and wonderful life forms, but felt none of them were perfect.

It was only after his death that his body and soul transformed into the first ten thousand powerful beings of the Intelligent Races.

These ten thousand powerhouses were the ancestors of the original Intelligent Races, and each one inherited a portion of the Supreme Creator God’s talents or abilities.

As they reproduced and passed down their bloodlines, they formed the original Ten Thousand Races of the universe.

But as time went on and bloodlines were passed down through generations, the talents and abilities of the Ten Thousand Races weakened as their blood grew thinner, some even disappearing completely.

Only the most outstanding among them, those who evolved to a higher level of existence, could awaken a portion of their racial abilities and talents.

This varied from race to race. Some races would awaken their Racial Talent during their fourth evolution, while others had to reach the god-level.

The genes that determined these Racial Talents and abilities were called the "Origin Gene," and every Intelligent Race possessed its own unique Origin Gene.

However, even upon reaching the god-level, the awakened talents and abilities were incomplete because the Origin Gene within their bodies was also incomplete.

Every evolution after the god-level was a continuous process of perfecting the Origin Gene. In other words, the higher the evolutionary level, the more complete the Origin Gene within the body became.

If anyone could evolve a complete Origin Gene, they would possess combat power rivaling that of their race’s original ancestor.

’So this "evolution" is actually about returning to one’s roots?’

’The powerful beings of the Intelligent Races in the universe constantly elevate their level of existence just to get closer to their original ancestors...’

After Su Ze finished processing this information, he continued to sort through the rest.

The creation myth was, after all, just a myth. Its authenticity couldn’t be verified. However, various phenomena throughout the universe seemed to corroborate its truth.

If a member of an Intelligent Race could restore their complete Origin Gene solely through their own evolution, they could become a powerhouse on par with, or even above, the so-called Sun God.

However, this was exceedingly difficult—so difficult it was practically impossible.

The method of evolution for the Intelligent Races was "Pillage Evolution." To evolve purely through one’s own growth without relying on pillaging was nearly impossible.

This led to the development of two paths of pillaging.

One was to pillage one’s own kind.

The restored Origin Genes differed from person to person within the same race. By pillaging the Origin Genes of one’s kin, one could fill in the missing parts of their own, rapidly perfecting their personal Origin Gene.

However, doing so would turn one into a "defiled one," a traitor to their race, exuding a foul stench and being ostracized by their people.

The second path was to pillage the powerful members of other Intelligent Races.

Pillaging the Origin Genes of other races could not directly perfect one’s own racial Origin Gene or bring one closer to their own ancestor.

But it could bring one closer to the Supreme Creator God!

This was the current mainstream path in the universe. Although it wasn’t as fast for increasing strength as pillaging one’s own kind, its potential was higher, and the targets were more abundant.

Legend says that if someone could gather the complete Origin Genes of all Ten Thousand Races, they would be comparable to the Supreme Creator God.

This second path of Pillage Evolution was the one widely adopted by the Ten Thousand Races of the universe. It also directly led to endless wars among them, as they pillaged and devoured one another. Of the original Ten Thousand Races, only a few hundred remained today.

Through countless wars, a disparity began to emerge among the Ten Thousand Races, who had initially been relatively equal in strength.

The victorious races grew stronger and stronger with each pillage, while the defeated were left further and further behind, until they were driven to extinction.

It seemed that when one race completely annihilated another, the victorious race would receive a permanent, collective enhancement.

Su Ze didn’t know the principle behind this; crucial information was missing.

But he could deduce that wiping out other races strengthened one’s own.

This strengthening wasn’t just in terms of current power, but also in Racial Talent!

The Nian Race, for instance, was a Vassal Race of the Witch Race.

And the Human Race was one of the Ten Thousand Races. To be precise, they were a Dominator Race from hundreds of millions of years ago!

Once, the Human Race had been a victor in the early wars of the Ten Thousand Races, one of the top-ranking Strong Races in the universe.

The Human Race distinguished itself in the early wars, accumulating a significant advantage, but for some unknown reason, it rapidly declined.

Fortunately, the Human Race was not wiped out. Instead, they fled the wars and found places to hide.

For hundreds of millions of years, the Human Race lay dormant, evading the hunts and pursuits of their enemies. Like rats in a sewer, they dared not show themselves openly in the universe.

During these hundreds of millions of years, the Human Race was not idle. They made countless attempts at a comeback, cultivating one genius after another, hoping these prodigies would restore the glory of the Human Race.

Blue Star, in fact, was one of the Human Race’s "burrows."

Powerful members of the Human Race would select habitable planets in remote locations that had not yet awakened their evolutionary power, sow the seeds of life, and allow humanity to propagate on them.

Why choose planets that hadn’t awakened their evolutionary power?

Because planets that had awakened their evolutionary power were very likely to be detected by other powerful beings.

Many races possessed the ability to search the universe for Evolutionary Planets. Once a planet awakened its evolutionary power, it was like lighting a candle in the dark—it would be discovered sooner or later.

Take Blue Star, for example. For countless years, it had never been visited by aliens. But a mere two or three hundred years after the Era of Evolution began, it was noticed by the Nian Race.

However, it seemed the Nian Race was unaware of how special and valuable the Human Race was. They treated them merely as some nameless, minor race in hiding and didn’t pay them much attention.

It was also possible that information about the Human Race was not considered important by the lower echelons of the Nian Race and was never passed up to their leaders, meaning the Nian Race high command was still unaware they had accidentally discovered a human planet.

But Su Ze knew this was only temporary.

Even if the Nian Race leadership lacked the vision to recognize a race that had vanished for eons, the Nian Race still had the Witch Race above them.

As a Dominator Race, the Witch Race would place immense importance on the discovery of humans on Blue Star.

At that point, the humans on Blue Star would have no escape, doomed to become lambs in the Witch Race’s pen.
