Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 806: The Heavenly Conqueror Gets Conquered

The enormous golden spear of light gradually dissipated, leaving a deep trench stretching across the battlefield.

At its center stood Tharion, his magnificent golden armor radiating increasingly powerful divine energy.

He rested his spear against his shoulder before looking toward Seraphiel with a confident grin. "What’s wrong? I thought the third-ranked candidate would be more impressive."

Seraphiel remained suspended in the air, her six golden wings gently fluttering behind her. "You’ve barely landed a single attack. Where is that confidence coming from?"

Tharion laughed before tightening his grip on his weapon. "My confidence comes from knowing that every second you waste makes me stronger."

His golden aura suddenly expanded.

[Heavenly Conquest Body!]

The muscles beneath his armor swelled slightly as countless golden markings appeared across his skin.

Unlike ordinary temporary enhancements, this ability originated from his genuine physique.

Every prolonged confrontation strengthened his physical capabilities, provided he maintained his fighting momentum.

Seraphiel narrowed her eyes.

"So that’s his advantage. The longer he attacks, the more dangerous he becomes."

Tharion immediately charged forward, his spear sweeping toward her with terrifying force.

CLAAAAANG!

Seraphiel summoned a golden barrier, but the impact pushed her several meters backward.

Before she could stabilize herself, Tharion thrust his spear again.

This time, the barrier cracked.

Tharion grinned. "See? Your defenses are already weakening."

Seraphiel calmly raised her hand.

[Divine Authority: Sacred Chains!]

Several golden chains materialized around Tharion, wrapping around his arms and legs.

However, he immediately twisted his body, shattering two chains through brute strength. "These little tricks won’t stop me."

Seraphiel frowned slightly. "I never intended them to."

The remaining chains suddenly tightened around his spear, pulling its tip away from her.

Seraphiel immediately descended, delivering a powerful kick against his exposed chest.

BANG!

Tharion staggered backward, his armor developing several cracks.

However, instead of showing discomfort, he laughed. "Good. That’s more like it."

His aura intensified once again.

Meanwhile, several kilometers away, Garion glanced toward their confrontation while exchanging punches with Azrakar. "Hehehe! That golden bastard keeps getting stronger."

Azrakar blocked Garion’s punch with his forearm before grinning. "His physique rewards continuous aggression. Quite troublesome in a prolonged battle."

Garion suddenly lowered his stance and swept the demon’s legs.

THUD!

Azrakar barely maintained his balance.

Garion chuckled. "HAHAHA! You seem to know quite a lot about him."

Azrakar immediately counterattacked with a heavy elbow strike. "Unlike you, I actually pay attention to my opponents."

Garion dodged and grinned. "Well, I prefer punching them first."

Nearby, Kaedros quietly observed the two before glancing toward Seraphiel.

"That woman is deliberately avoiding a direct confrontation. She’s waiting for something."

Indeed, Seraphiel had already noticed another weakness in Tharion’s physique.

Although his power increased through sustained combat, maintaining that enhancement required continuous offensive momentum.

If his attacks were interrupted for too long, his accumulated strength would gradually diminish.

Unfortunately, Tharion wasn’t foolish enough to overlook such an obvious limitation.

He maintained constant pressure, forcing Seraphiel to defend against increasingly devastating attacks.

BOOOOOOM!

Another spear strike shattered her defensive barrier.

Seraphiel retreated, her expression becoming serious.

Tharion laughed. "Running away won’t save you."

He raised his spear overhead.

[Heavenly Conquest Art: Sovereign’s Descent!]

An enormous golden manifestation appeared behind him, resembling an ancient warrior carrying a divine spear.

Its weapon descended alongside Tharion’s attack.

Seraphiel immediately crossed her arms. Several layers of sacred barriers appeared before her.

However, the enormous spear pierced through them one after another.

KABOOOOOM!

The impact sent Seraphiel crashing toward the arena.

An enormous crater appeared beneath her.

Tharion landed nearby, his aura growing even stronger. "Third place? How disappointing."

However, a calm voice suddenly emerged from the dust. "Your confidence is becoming rather excessive."

Seraphiel slowly rose from the crater, her wings spreading behind her.

Although several feathers had been damaged, her expression remained composed.

She raised her right hand.

[Divine Authority: Heavenly Judgment!]

Countless golden runes appeared above Tharion.

He immediately grinned and raised his spear. "Another useless suppression technique?"

However, the runes suddenly descended, forming an enormous golden formation beneath his feet.

His movements became noticeably slower.

Tharion frowned. "What?"

Seraphiel looked toward him calmly. "Your physique strengthens you through uninterrupted combat. Unfortunately, you seem rather dependent on that condition."

Tharion immediately attempted to charge.

However, the formation restricted his movements.

His accumulated battle momentum began weakening. "Damn it."

He tightened his grip on his spear.

Meanwhile, within the shadows surrounding the battlefield, Nyxara watched with considerable interest.

"A momentum-based physique. How troublesome."

Her dark eyes narrowed.

"Still, that means interrupting his movements is enough."

Without making a sound, several thin shadows extended across the ground toward Tharion.

Just as he managed to break through Seraphiel’s formation, the shadows wrapped around his ankles.

Tharion stumbled. "What the hell?"

Nyxara remained hidden, offering no explanation.

Seraphiel immediately seized the opening. A concentrated golden spear formed within her palm.

[Sacred Judgment: Heaven-Piercing Light!]

She hurled it toward Tharion’s chest.

However, the armored warrior roared and swung his own spear, shattering the attack before it could pierce him.

CRAAAAACK!

His weapon developed several cracks. Blood trickled from his mouth.

Yet he remained standing. "HAHAHA! YOU THINK THAT’S ENOUGH?"

His golden aura began surging again.

Seraphiel’s expression darkened.

"Even after losing most of his accumulated strength, he’s still this powerful?"

Unfortunately for Tharion, another candidate had already noticed his weakened condition.

Several enormous crystalline pillars suddenly erupted from the ground.

[Divine Creation: Crystal Prison!]

Elysara calmly extended her hand from across the battlefield.

Tharion immediately turned. "You cowardly woman!"

The pillars closed around him before he could escape.

However, rather than attempting to crush him, they formed an enormous spherical prison covered in intricate crystalline patterns.

Tharion roared and thrust his spear into the surrounding walls.

The crystal sphere trembled.

Elysara smiled faintly. "Such impressive strength. Unfortunately, you’re making this easier."

The spherical prison suddenly began rotating.

Every impact Tharion delivered against its walls was absorbed into the crystalline structure and redirected through the surrounding formations.

The harder he attacked, the more energy accumulated within the prison.

Tharion finally realized something was wrong. "Wait..."

Elysara gently closed her fingers. "Thank you for providing the energy."

The accumulated force suddenly reversed toward the center.

KABOOOOOOOOOM!

A devastating explosion erupted within the crystalline sphere.

When the formation disappeared, Tharion lay motionless inside an enormous crater, his golden armor completely shattered.

[Candidate Tharion — Eliminated.]

[Remaining Candidates: 9]

---

For a brief moment, the battlefield became strangely quiet.

The first finalist had fallen.

Seraphiel glanced toward Elysara, her expression becoming increasingly cautious.

Elysara merely smiled politely. "You’re welcome."

Seraphiel narrowed her eyes. "I didn’t ask for your assistance."

Elysara chuckled. "Of course not. I simply dislike troublesome opponents."

Meanwhile, Nyxara silently withdrew her shadows.

Neither woman acknowledged her contribution.

From the distant battlefield, Garion stared at the enormous crater before laughing. "HAHAHA! DAMN! THAT BASTARD GOT JUMPED BY THREE PEOPLE!"

Azrakar glanced toward the fallen warrior before grinning. "That’s what happens when you make yourself everyone’s target."

Garion nodded thoughtfully. "Hehehe! Fair enough."

He immediately raised both fists again. "Alright, where were we?"

Azrakar’s grin widened. "Right about here."

The demon suddenly charged.

Above the arena, the Creator leaned comfortably against her magnificent throne.

[Hehehe! Wonderful. The first elimination already!]

She glanced toward the nine remaining candidates.

[Now let’s see who’ll be unfortunate enough to follow him.]
