Her Food Livestream Broke the Galaxy

Chapter 810 - 829: Everything I Said Seems to Be True!

  • Next Chapter

The magical camera angle hid Qiuqiu’s back and shoulders, transforming the screen into the domain of a massive wok.

Qiuqiu was currently making braised meatballs.

The soy-sauce-colored meatballs rolled in the broth, BUBBLING continuously. Smoke curled upward as a large round ladle frequently stirred the wok, scooping up the savory sauce and repeatedly basting the meatballs until they looked glossy and appetizing.

Once the braised meatballs were served, the scene shifted to baby greens drizzled with oil. It was a patch of endearing, vibrant green. After the baby greens were finished, it was time for tofu.

Honestly, time flew by when watching this kind of livestream. Before anyone knew it, the midday break bell rang, signaling that it was twelve o’clock.

So... did time really pass this quickly when watching someone cook?

"Cut the streams; the students need to rest," a voice ordered. "Publish the morning’s rankings. We need to issue warnings to the passive students and encourage those who performed well."

Thus, at noon on September 1st, the first wave of the overall competition for the University Spirit Healing Alliance officially kicked off.

Some were overjoyed, while others were distressed. For everyone at the top of the ranks, there was someone at the bottom. Some pushed past their limits, securing a decent ranking despite being completely exhausted. Others discovered that peers with similar skill levels had somehow managed to see far more patients than they did.

When they asked around, they found out these friends had unique tricks for the assessment.

"They told us to heal them, but they never said we had to heal them completely—

"If you hover around the eighty-percent mark, the patrolling teachers won’t notice, and you’ll save a lot of energy. That way, you can see more people."

None of this, however, had anything to do with Qiuqiu.

While cooking, she hadn’t had the time to check why her terminal was ringing. Once she finally finished making the meal and saw it was the intermission, she didn’t even bother moving.

After sitting in the back to stretch her limbs and giving a quick treatment to the person in front, she temporarily closed the door and enjoyed a pretty good lunch with the dishwasher.

The afternoon would be another back-to-back grind, with consultations resuming at two o’clock. Qiuqiu needed to use this time to put on her helmet and rest, so she asked the remaining patient to leave first. Before the patient left, Qiuqiu forced a few Star Coins and a lunch pudding into her hands.

"You go on ahead," Qiuqiu told her.

"It’s no problem," the patient replied.

The patient actually wanted to stay a bit longer, but growing up in her environment made it very difficult to learn how to refuse. Besides, in her eyes, Qiuqiu’s status was simply too high. Carrying the items, she left reluctantly.

Qiuqiu then set an alarm for 1:50, covered the camera, and went to sleep right there in the consultation room.

Meanwhile, people outside were frantically discussing her.

No one went back to their dorms for this break. Most simply came out for some fresh air, drank two vials of Spirit Nourishing Liquid, and casually checked the morning rankings. The C, B, and A tiers all trended normally, but in the A+ tier, the first place had left everyone else in the dust, sparking a lot of curiosity.

With the mixed crowds, the students of Federation University naturally mingled with those from other schools. During their chats, people couldn’t help but bring up Qiuqiu. And just like Dean Zhu, they sang her praises.

Although some peers within the department only had an average relationship with her, they presented a unified front of compliments when facing outsiders.

They talked about how the dispersion of her spiritual power could be smelled throughout an entire cabin; how her innate Spirit Healing power was overwhelmingly unrivaled; how just being around her food made people feel immensely happy without even eating anything. Not to mention her maxed-out endurance, her double major... and so on and so forth.

Then, after finishing their boastful rants with beaming smiles, there would always be a suspicious student from a neighboring school who asked, "Is that for real?"

The person making the introduction would always feel a momentary pang of guilt before suddenly realizing, "Wait—everything I just said is actually completely true!!"
