Her Food Livestream Broke the Galaxy

Chapter 809 - 828: Oblique Angle Food Live Stream

The deans and professors in the observation room only knew that Jiang Qiuqiu was connecting with multiple people at once. They had no idea that after dividing her focus into three parts, she could divide it even further. She could differentiate the severity of each patient’s symptoms, calculate exactly how much spiritual power they needed, and dispense it accordingly. This allowed her to conserve her spiritual power to the greatest extent possible, preparing herself for a prolonged battle.

Once this batch of ten was finished, Qiuqiu told them they could leave. Some stood up and bowed to her, some simply glanced at her before hurrying away, while one person remained seated even after everyone else had gone.

Curious, Qiuqiu asked what was wrong and whether she was still feeling unwell. The woman shook her head and pointed at the table. Then, with practiced efficiency, she gathered all the dirty bowls and chopsticks, carrying them to the sink in the back kitchen.

"You’re so thoughtful. Thank you."

At the word ’thanks,’ the woman carrying the dishes paused. Just as Qiuqiu was about to start washing, the patient looked up. With a gaze that was both determined and inquiring, she said, "Let me wash them.

"Can I wash them?"

"Well..." Qiuqiu honestly wasn’t sure if that was allowed. "Hold on, let me ask."

She walked over to the camera and looked directly into the lens. "Deans, is it against the rules to have someone stay behind to wash dishes?"

In the observation room next door.

"How did she know we were watching?"

"Well... she was seeing people out into the hallway earlier. The A+ zone is completely deserted except for her clinic, which is bustling with activity. It’s only natural that we’d be watching."

"But why did she address ’Deans’ plural, instead of just one? Does she know we’re all watching?"

"We announced this as a league competition. If only one person was watching, wouldn’t that imply it’s rigged?"

Fair enough. The girl was undeniably smart. However...

"Is it against the rules to have a patient wash dishes?"

"Does washing dishes count as a step in the treatment?"

"I think so. After all, if someone washes the dishes for her, she’ll be able to work faster."

So, should they refuse? Was she not allowed to keep the patient?

Amidst the ongoing discussion, Dean Zhu glanced around at his colleagues and made the final call. "She can stay. Washing dishes doesn’t expend Healing Spiritual Power, so it can’t be considered a part of the treatment process.

"And even if it were, we should still allow it. Having someone stay behind obviously increases her efficiency. Higher efficiency means more people can be saved during this practical exam.

"We need to be clear on exactly why we’re holding this exam."

It was to improve the students’ skills and increase the sense of identity within this major. At the same time, it was meant to teach everyone to revere and cherish life. Only by keeping the light of compassion in their hearts would their Healing Spiritual Power become increasingly pure.

Once the dean spoke, no one else dared to argue.

Soon, a teacher who had been patrolling nearby entered Jiang Qiuqiu’s clinic and informed her that the patient was permitted to stay. With someone taking care of the dishes and other small chores, things went much more smoothly from then on.

Since she didn’t want to make the exact same dish over and over, Jiang Qiuqiu switched things up for every new group of patients. A while ago she had made tofu soup, and now she was either pan-frying tofu or making stuffed tofu. Pork, however, was always the main ingredient. It couldn’t be helped—it was simply the cheapest meat available. Whether it was pan-frying, roasting, boiling, deep-frying, or stewing, she was an expert at it all. If conditions permitted, Qiuqiu would have loved to braise some pig trotters. Unfortunately, that took far too long, and with the constant flow of people coming and going, there was no time to wait.

The cameras here were smart lenses that automatically tracked people’s movements. Since Qiuqiu had been standing by the stove the entire time, the camera had remained fixed on her. From a forty-five-degree angle high up on the wall, it perfectly captured a large pot and the back of her figure.

Back in the monitoring room, one of the deans holding a remote control had grown curious about what exactly was cooking in that pot. The camera lens abruptly zoomed in.
