Monkey Tail had not expected this woman to have such skills. She could actually make things explode? Her eyes flickered with unease but she still stood her ground. If she returned without bringing this woman back, her mistress would be upset.

She took out the sword that was dangling on the side of her waist before raising and pointing it at Yu Dong. “You don’t know whom you are facing.”

“I can see a monkey-faced woman..what..is there someone else?” She asked while looking around the forest, her remarks might not have sat well with the woman as she let out a strangled yell that sounded like—ARGHHH!

And then she charged at her.

Yu Dong twisted her feet and turned to one side, as she dodged the attack that was aimed at her heart. The sword skimmed right above her bosom.

CHRR—

The sound of fabric tearing cleared in the surroundings as Yu Dong looked down at her bosom which was now bleeding.

Her eyes narrowed as she raised her head and looked at Monkey Tail. “Poison?”

The woman smiled and her eyes glinted maliciously. Her lips curled up in a sneer as she said to Yu Dong, “Or else did you think that I would attack you without taking any precautions?” She could see that Yu Dong was not a simple woman, thus killing her with simple means would be impossible.

“This poison belongs to azure rattlesnake,” said the woman with a gleeful smile on her face. “It is a snake that was specifically bred for creating one of the most poisonous venoms. No one has survived after getting infected by this poison.”

Yu Dong could indeed feel the sting on her skin, she raised a brow and looked at the woman before sighing. She placed her dagger back in her space before taking out a lightsaber whip from the region where she had stocked her weapons.

“You know, you could have just died peacefully,” remarked Yu Dong as she unfurled her whip. “But you just had to annoy me.”

The smile on the woman’s face stiffened.

“Impossible,” Monkey Tail whispered as she looked at Yu Dong. Despite being injected with the poison, she was still standing on her feet and didn’t seem to be bothered by the poison that was coursing in her veins.

She took a step away from Yu Dong and questioned, “How —How could you stand on your feet?”

“Why don’t you ask this from the king of the underworld?” Yu Dong smiled as she pounced at the woman. “I believe that he would be much kinder.”

“No!” Monkey Tail screamed as she turned on her feet to escape but Yu Dong sneered and said, “Oh no you don’t.”

She then threw the whip in her hand at the woman such that it wrapped itself around Monkey Tail’s neck.

The burning sensation was enough to make Monkey Tail hiss in pain but then the whip tightened around her neck, causing her to suffocate.

“L—Let go,” Monkey Tail choked as she raised her hands trying to pry off the whip that was curled around her neck.

“You want me to let go of you?” Yu Dong questioned with a cruel smile on her face. “Then I will let you go. I will let you go, alright.”

With that, she pulled the whip that was curled around the neck of Monkey Tail.

“AHHH!!” Monkey Tail screamed, her eyes rolled back in her sockets when she felt the force pull her head off her shoulders. She wanted to fight but Yu Dong was too strong and the whip in her hands was also rather dangerous.

The hot surface of the whip dug deeper and deeper into her skin as if it was melting her skin, tendons and bones —and then —

CRACK.

“NOOO!” Someone screamed behind Yu Dong just as she tore Monkey Tail’s head off her shoulders.

Yu Dong turned to look at the woman behind her, her red robes had turned even redder as the fabric got doused with the warm blood that was sprayed through the decapitated neck of Monkey Tail’s body.

“You are Master Hualin, aren’t you?” Yu Dong looked at the woman who was staring at Monkey Tail’s corpse. Blood was still oozing out of her neck and dying on the ground underneath her.

Master Hualin looked at Yu Dong with hatred burning in her eyes. “You dumb bitch what did you do?”

“Me?” Yu Dong pointed at her face with a surprised expression on her face. She looked around and said with a grin, “I didn’t do anything too dumb.”

“This dumb bitch just killed this dumb one.” She pointed at Monkey Tail’s head which was lying right next to her feet.

Master Hualin’s eyes were filled with rage as she glared at Yu Dong. She said to her, “Do you think that you have done something great? You think this is funny huh?”

“Well, her expression is indeed quite funny. Doesn’t she look like she had a bad constipation?” Yu Dong smirked and goaded the woman whose glare intensified.

“I will kill for you this. You have caused me to lose my servant, you foolish woman!” Master Hualin sneered as she brought out the flute that she was carrying in her sleeves.

Yu Dong narrowed her eyes as she looked at the pure white flute. It gleamed under the bright sun but she knew better than to think that this was a normal flute.

“Human bones. This flute is made from human bone,” she remarked while eyeing the smooth texture of the flute. Yu Dong had seen many forensic examinations and tests, which was why she could tell the material of the flute from which it was made at once.

Master Hualin smiled at her. She brought the bone flute to her lips and said, “Certainly. I expected this much from you, after all, you are no normal woman if you killed Monkey Tail.”

“However, you will now learn why you shouldn’t be so smart and nosy, you stupid and pathetic woman.” And she played a melody.
