Rose said, “I have summoned all the gods of the Underworld to a Divine Council. The vast majority of them should attend.”

“As for the few who are unwilling to come, I’ve already found out the whereabouts of their true bodies.”

Li Wei nodded. “Very good.”

The gods wanted to seize all the Authority of Law in the Sky Dome World and annex it.

Li Wei, on the other hand, wanted to seize the Underworld’s entire Authority of Law first.

He wanted to see what kind of influence one would have over a world after grasping its entire Authority of Law.

The success of his and the Magic Goddess’s plan depended on it.

After returning to the Underworld, Rose had originally wanted to take this opportunity to gather the power of all the Divine Spirits there to besiege and kill Li Wei.

However, when those Divine Spirits saw that she had fallen from the Divine Realm, they mocked her relentlessly. Some even wanted to devour what little Divine Power she had left right then and there.

So, Rose abandoned the idea of gathering the power of the gods to kill Li Wei.

She practically wished Li Wei would hurry up and deal with all her old friends in the Underworld.

Even though Rose had lost her Divine Position, she was still able to summon the gods to a meeting.

This was because she had given the gods of the Underworld an offer they couldn’t refuse.

She would tell the gods at the meeting the truth behind the fall of the three Divine Spirits in the Underworld, as well as the reason she lost her own Divine Position.

She was subtly informing the gods of the Underworld that they too were at risk of falling.

Knowing that three of the Underworld’s Divine Spirits had fallen and having personally witnessed Rose fall from her Divine Position, the gods of the Underworld were naturally on edge.

Any of them with half a brain wanted to figure out what was really going on.

The Divine Spirits who didn’t attend the meeting were the ones who didn’t believe Rose.

Either that, or they were so confident in their own abilities that they weren’t afraid of any danger.

Rose led Li Wei to the meeting place of the gods.

On the way, Rose explained, “The gods will definitely not show up in their true bodies. And since this is a gathering of Divine Spirits, they won’t send their Divine Envoys or Divine Favored to attend for them. They’ll most likely send a Divine Power Avatar.”

“If you only destroy their Divine Power Avatars, it won’t have much of an impact on them. It won’t harm their true bodies at all.”

“If you alarm the gods of the Underworld this time, it’ll be impossible to gather them again.”

Rose had no idea what method Li Wei had to capture all the gods of the Underworld in one fell swoop.

From the looks of it, the chances were basically zero.

The gods of the Underworld wouldn’t show up in person at all.

Even if Li Wei was powerful enough to kill every Divine Spirit in the Underworld, he could, at most, destroy their Divine Power Avatars. There was no way to kill the gods themselves.

Li Wei said lightly, “I have my ways.”

Seeing this, Rose said no more.

She led Li Wei to the place where the gods were meeting: an ancient Divine Hall located deep within the Underworld’s Grand Canyon.

The ancient Divine Hall was a relic left behind by a Divine Spirit of the Underworld from a bygone era.

Now, that Divine Spirit was long gone.

The place had since been occupied by the gods of the Underworld and turned into their meeting hall.

Although there had always been conflict among the gods of the Underworld, who would often fight to the death on sight, they still needed to gather and deliberate together when it came to matters concerning all the Divine Spirits and races of the Underworld.

The last gathering of Divine Spirits occurred when the gods descended.

Faced with the immense threat posed by the gods, the gods of the Underworld united for the first time.

However, the result wasn’t exactly pleasant.

The gods hadn’t paid any attention to the gods of the Underworld.

The gods’ main focus was on the Sky Dome World; they didn’t much care for the Low-Rank Deities of the Underworld.

Li Wei waited outside the Divine Hall for a long time, until no more Divine Spirits arrived.

Only then did he step inside the Divine Hall.

The variously shaped Divine Spirits of the Underworld looked at the human walking in, their expressions showing surprise.

“Rose, what is the meaning of this? Why is there a human here?”

A Divine Spirit that was pitch-black from head to toe questioned Rose.

Rose didn’t speak.

Upon seeing the human, one Divine Spirit immediately attacked, intending to crush Li Wei with a single slap.

It had no intention of giving Li Wei any chance to explain.

“What right does a human have to attend a gathering of the Underworld’s Divine Spirits? Die.”

Li Wei scanned the gods in attendance.

Seven Divine Spirits had come in total.

According to Rose, three more Divine Spirits hadn’t shown up.

However, the locations frequented by the true bodies of those three had already been confirmed.

Seeing this, Li Wei made his move.

A torrent of majestic Divine Power surged forth, startling the gods to their feet.

“Projection Law!”

Using the Projection Law, Li Wei projected his own Divine Power Avatars directly to the locations of the seven Divine Spirits’ true bodies, using their avatars here as a medium.

All seven Divine Spirits immediately noticed the human who had suddenly appeared beside them.

In the Divine Hall, the pitch-black Divine Spirit roared, “Insolent human! What do you think you’re doing?”

Li Wei completely ignored its words, striking out and crushing the seven Divine Spirits’ Divine Power Avatars.

Before Li Wei’s immense Divine Power, the seven Divine Power Avatars had no power to resist and were washed away by a torrential wave of Divine Power.

They didn’t even have time to use their own Law Abilities.

On this day, a great tremor shook the Underworld.

The entire Underworld was shaking.

At the same time, the seven Divine Spirits were attacked, and a divine war erupted.

Backed by the Divine Power Sun, Li Wei possessed a nearly inexhaustible supply of Divine Power.

He had mastered several different Powers of Laws.

He held his own, fighting one against seven.

Walking out of the Divine Hall, Rose glanced at the violent combat fluctuations rippling across the Underworld’s horizon. She looked at Li Wei, her expression one of utter shock.

‘Just what is this human?’

‘Why does he have such immense power?’

‘He’s clearly not even a Divine Spirit.’

Without turning his head, Li Wei said, “Let’s go. To the locations of the remaining three Divine Spirits.”

Rose was stunned. ‘Fighting one against seven was one thing. But he actually plans to take on even more opponents. Has his arrogance reached such heights?’

Then she recalled the terrifying methods Li Wei had previously displayed—power great enough to destroy a world.

Rose fell silent.

‘If Li Wei didn’t want to control the entire Underworld and simply wanted to destroy it, it would be effortless for him.’

Rose nodded and replied, “The nearest Divine Spirit is in the Grand Canyon to the west. Some Dark Race Professionals have seen that Divine Spirit’s followers in the canyon.”

Li Wei nodded. His Divine Thought swept across the Underworld, locking onto the Grand Canyon Rose had mentioned.

He opened a Teleportation Gate and went directly to the Grand Canyon.

He didn’t find the Divine Spirit, but he did find its Divine Favored within the Grand Canyon.

Li Wei used the Divine Favored to project a Divine Power Avatar to that Divine Spirit’s side.

The Divine Spirit, hidden deep underground, suddenly sensed an unfamiliar presence nearby.

“A human?”

BOOM!

The earth roiled like a great wave.

A Divine Spirit burst out from underground, seemingly trying to flee.

Immediately after, a crimson streak of light shot out from the ground, chasing after the fleeing Divine Spirit.

An incredibly fierce battle erupted in the sky.

Li Wei glanced at the distant battle and said, “Let’s go. On to the next place.”

Rose lowered her head and said, “Yes.”

She had now completely submitted.

She had not a shred of resistance left in her heart.

‘The strength Li Wei displayed was just too immense. It completely surpassed his Level. He was clearly just a Demigod, so why did he possess such vast power?’

Compared to a Divine Spirit in the conventional sense, Li Wei only lacked a Divine Format and a Divine Position.

The Divine Format represents one’s control over the world’s Authority of Law.

The Authority of Law determines which of the world’s Rules a Divine Spirit can influence.

The Divine Position represents one’s station within their world.

The higher the station, the greater the influence over the world.

The highest station was undoubtedly the World Will.

If one could seize the station of the World Will, they could directly control the entire world.

When a Divine Spirit lacks Divine Power, it can use the station it occupies to mobilize the power of the world for its own use.

But once Li Wei possessed a nearly inexhaustible supply of Divine Power, a supply of Divine Power comparable to the total power of an entire world, then whether or not he possessed a Divine Position and occupied a station in the world no longer mattered.

He was already a god.
