Chapter 1737: Subduing mount!

Chapter 1737: Subduing mount!

From MC Perspective

“If you don’t want to die, then follow my orders.” After saying that, I released a tiny bit of coercion.

Boom!

The coercion was felt by the wandering wizards. The middle-aged man’s face turned pale with fright.

Next, everyone collapsed onto the ground. They realized that they had kicked an iron plate.

“Lord, forgive us,” the middle-aged man pleaded.

His eyes were filled with terror. There was no greed anymore. His subordinates resigned themselves to their fate.

They felt they were going to be buried here.

“Alright, I will spare your lives. But follow me from now on,” I ordered them.

Hearing that, the wandering wizards agreed. Then I told them to stand. I told them that I was going to visit a few cities in the Dark Territory. I didn’t mention Dust City.

“Lord, the Dark Territory is huge. But I’m familiar with most of the famous cities. I can help you,” the middle-aged man said.

“What’s your name?” I asked.

“Lord, my name is Carlos,” he replied.

“Good, then we can leave.” After saying that, I started walking.

Carlos thought of something and said, “Lord, wait a second. We have a carriage in our hideout. If you give me a few minutes, I’ll bring it.”

Hearing that, I shook my head. I didn’t have much time. I needed to save Manager Lara.

Carlos was confused. He thought the Lord looked down upon carriages. But here in the barren land, they were the hottest commodities.

“Is there anything that moves fast?” I asked.

Carlos and the others were confused. Then Carlos recalled something.

“Lord, if you want to travel fast, then you need a mount in the barren land. You can’t use modern vehicles here,” Carlos said.

“Do you know any place?” I asked.

Hearing that, Carlos looked around. Seeing that the travelers had already gone ahead, he sighed in relief.

“Lord, there is a small mountain nearby. It’s also the lair of a Flying Salamander. You can use your Supreme strength to subdue it,” Carlos replied.

Hearing that, my eyes glinted with understanding.

“Okay, take me to the place,” I said to him.

Carlos and his men started flying forward.

Seeing that, I started following them from behind. I was sure they wouldn’t dare to deceive me. If they harbored ill intentions, the system would know.

Time went by.

The wandering wizards led me to the mountain 20 minutes later. It was a mountain over 100ft high.

I told them to stay there. If they dared to flee the place, I could find them easily.

Carlos and the others were petrified on the spot. They knew the horror of Supreme Wizards. The wandering wizards had faced countless near-death experiences.

That’s why Carlos realized the person in front of him was a Supreme Wizard. They gave me their assurance that nothing would happen.

Swoosh!

The next second, I flew towards the mountain top. I moved fast in mid-air. It didn’t take long for me to reach the summit.

Then I saw nothing but empty land filled with green vegetation. I didn’t see any monsters at first glance.

As I continued to look at the ground, I found something underground. Then I used the system function.

[Ding! Warning]

[Flying Salamander detected.]

The system voice sounded in my mind.

Hearing that, my mouth curved into an arc. Then I released a small part of my mana power.

Boom!

The overwhelming pressure hit the ground.

Roar!

The ground cracked instantly. The next second, a terrifying roar sounded from the ground. A huge head appeared, bursting out from the surface.

It was followed by a massive body and tail.

Boom!

Then, wings over 20ft in length broke out from the ground. The size of the monster was over 50ft. It was truly a small giant.

When the full appearance of the monster became clear, I noticed the monster was rather old.

The monster was afraid. It didn’t know which powerhouse had flown past its territory. The pressure had woken it up.

The huge head looked around before casually looking up at the sky.

The salamander saw a human standing in mid-air. The lizard’s pupils shrank. It couldn’t even feel his presence.

It was a 9th Order Monster, so it was sure the person standing in mid-air was a human powerhouse.

A hint of fear appeared in those eyes.

On the other hand, I found the monster was very old. It had lost the potential to reach the 10th Order. Maybe because of its old age, or because no one had subdued the monster before.

“You….!”

“I know you can understand human words. I need a mount right now to visit a few cities in the Dark Territory.”

“If you cooperate, then I’ll reward you. Maybe you can live for a few more years,” I said to the monster.

The salamander monster was dumbfounded. It didn’t expect to get such an opportunity. Then it quickly agreed by nodding its head.

“Can you fly?” I asked.

The Flying Salamander nodded its head. Then its gigantic body moved.

Boom!

It shook both of its wings. The force generated from the wings swept across the place.

The huge salamander appeared in mid-air and continued to hover.

Swoosh!

The next second, I appeared above the monster’s head and stood on it. Then I told the monster to go to the ground.

In the blink of an eye, the monster reached the ground. When its huge body landed, Carlos and the others were stunned. They didn’t expect the Flying Salamander to become a mount this quickly.

At the same time, I told Carlos and the others to get on. They calmed their hearts. They flew onto the monster’s head the next second.

A few minutes later, the Flying Salamander flapped its wings and started flying high in the sky. The desolate winds were nothing against the Flying Salamander. It was a native monster of the place.

Seeing that the monster was flying at a speed no less than the wizards, I was impressed. Now I could collect details from the wandering wizards.
