The next morning, I woke from a deep sleep. I spent twenty minutes on my morning routine before heading to the control room to check the control mirror.

I stood in front of the control mirror and observed the scene outside. The landscape was open, filled with scattered tree leaves covering the ground.

I began to recall yesterday’s attack. The Tree Monster possessed a mental attack ability. Not even a fraction of a second after its assault, I had fainted.

Fortunately, I had thought of the Gregor Mansion before losing consciousness. If I had tried to counterattack, the monster might have used its mental attack again.

I followed the same route to escape.

Gigantic tree roots sprawled across the landscape. Yet, the monster’s fury remained unquelled, its rage reverberating across the territory. The surrounding mana grew violent.

Inside the Gregor Mansion, I opened my eyes hours later. The pain in my back had nearly vanished. If not for my forbidden bones and robust physique, the dark root would have torn my body apart.

I stood slowly and approached the control mirror to check outside. The scene shocked me, the terrain had completely changed.

Disbelief flashed in my eyes. I couldn’t comprehend what had happened.

Suddenly, I thought about the old route. If the terrain had changed, how would I find the marked spots?

My expression grew solemn. Something significant had occurred while I was unconscious, but I couldn’t go outside yet, my mana was depleted.

I decided to recover my mana before investigating further.

Other dangerous entities sensed the 10th-Order Monster’s reaction. They wondered what had provoked such a response.

Only a formidable enemy could cause such a disturbance. The other powerful beings grew wary, vigilant for any unknown threats entering their territory.

Due to the 10th-Order Monster, this small part of the core area has become violent and tense. Other lower-order monsters and species are moving away from the area.

Even the dark wizards living nearby were terrified. They have decided to relocate their hideout as well.
