Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1515: Core area (Forbidden Area 808)

Chapter 1515: Core area (Forbidden Area 808)

From MC’s Perspective:

The following day,

I woke up and got out of bed, beginning my morning routine. I spent an hour on my daily tasks.

Then I entered the main hall and sat cross-legged on the ground. I took out several super-grade mana stones.

Holding two super-grade mana stones in my hands, I began practicing the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

Gravity mana particles from the stones started entering my body. I guided the gray mana particles according to the mental method.

The gravity mana coursed through my body. After circulating, it entered my mana core space.

The mana core absorbed the incoming gravity mana.

Seeing this, I continued to repeat the process.

A few hours later,

I stopped practicing, stood up, and went to take a bath. I spent twenty minutes bathing before changing my clothes.

A few minutes later,

After getting ready, I stepped outside. It was the same place where a single route led to the core area.

I began traveling along the path drawn by the dead wizard. As I moved, I couldn’t forget the events of the previous night.

The dark tree roots had found me. I had a feeling I might encounter the main body of the 10th-order monster today.

Time passed,

By post-noon, I was nearing the entrance to the core area.

Swoosh!

Suddenly, thick, sharp dark tree roots appeared out of nowhere.

“Repulsive Force!” I cast the magic spell.

Just as the dark tree roots were about to hit me, a powerful repulsive force emanated from my body.

Boom!

The repulsive force struck the dark tree roots in the blink of an eye, causing an explosive sound.

As a magic spell cast by a level-9 wizard, the repulsive force shredded the dark tree roots instantly.

Seeing this, I resumed moving. I guessed these attacks would become more frequent. Not long after, I crossed a few hundred meters.

More dark tree roots appeared, but I wasn’t afraid. I used the same magic spell to destroy them.

Time passed,

The 10th-order Multi-Eyes Monster had been sending dark tree roots to tire out the human wizard.

As it had predicted, the human wizard was using magic spells to block the attacks. It wouldn’t be long before he ran out of mana.

A few hours later,

I reached my destination, the place where the black line ended on the dead wizard’s map. After arriving, I checked the map again.

Upon reviewing the dead wizard’s map, I confirmed I was in the right place. Then I checked the official map to verify the location.

The official map lacked sufficient detail, so I stored it back in the system space.

From here on, I would have to find my own route. I surveyed the area, picked a direction, and used my flight ability to move through the air.

Not long after, more dark tree roots tried to block my path. A flash of anger crossed my eyes.

I had lost count of how many I’d destroyed along the way, yet they kept coming. I wondered why the main body didn’t appear.

Shaking my head, I cast the magic spell to destroy the dark tree roots again. It didn’t take long to step into the core area.

The moment I entered, I felt a change in the environment. The mana was heavy, with more dark-type mana than elemental mana.

This troubled me. Finding the wanted criminal Theo Bernard seemed less challenging than surviving here.

No wonder the old man had said Theo Bernard survived here because of his magic.

I marked the location on a huge tree and asked the system to mark it as well. From now on, maps would be useless.

Few had ventured this far to draw a map. Even the dead wizard had only reached the entry area.

I continued moving forward. I noticed the trees and vegetation thinning out.

The land became more open and vacant as I proceeded. I wasn’t sure if this was a good sign or not.

The core area was supposed to be dangerous, yet I hadn’t found anything suspicious so far. That, in itself, felt ominous.

When night fell, I entered the Gregor Mansion. The mana in the surroundings was growing toxic, but fortunately, I felt nothing inside the Gregor Mansion.

I headed to the control room and stood in front of the control mirror.

I had destroyed countless dark tree roots, but I didn’t know if the 10th-order monster was still pursuing me.

Meanwhile,

The 10th-order Multi-Eyes Monster, located not far from its prey, was pleased. The human wizard had entered its territory.

In its domain, no other vegetation grew except its tree roots. All other species had been eradicated.

That’s why the land under its control was vacant and open.

Silver Tower:

Forbidden Wizard Charlotte approached Elder Dana again for answers. She didn’t know what was happening with Vincent Carey.

She knew about his mission but had no idea how long it would take. She had thought Vincent Carey would have returned by now.

But he hadn’t. Elder Dana, hearing her request, was also shocked by some of the information.

From her sources, she learned that Vincent Carey had entered Willow Peak City, but she didn’t know what happened afterward.

She suspected Fate Wizard Campbell had sent Vincent Carey on a mission, as those who completed his missions could make a request to him.

She believed Vincent had gone on such a mission. However, she wasn’t sure if sending the young wizard was a good idea.

Campbell was a neutral wizard with a peculiar personality. Only someone like Vincent could impress him.

Still, she thought Vincent wasn’t foolish. If he failed the mission, he would likely return. So, she told Charlotte to wait at least a week.

Hearing that Charlotte had no choice other than to believe her. She also told Manager Lara about this news. The wizard seeds were the ones who wanted to hear this news most.

When Wilfred, Susan and Jason Nicholson heard about it. They were disappointed. They didn’t know what kind of mission Vincent Carey is doing right now.

But there is one more person who knows the news. She was none other than Celeste.
