Chapter 1495: Part 1: Aethel Society

From MC’s Perspective:

The old man brought me outside the Tristan Mansion. He is now leading somewhere at night.

If I want, I could avoid the person, but the curiosity in my heart has increased. I guess it’s related to the Tristan Family’s enemy or enemies.

I didn’t know whether any Supreme Wizard or above that level was behind this situation.

The old man didn’t speak. He brought the guest to a big garage. It’s a place where the airships were repaired and maintained.

He brought the guest to this place. Upon entering, the old man said, “I have brought this person here.”

When the old man walked out of the garage.

Suddenly, 8 people appeared out of nowhere. They were all dressed in black dresses with weirdly shaped jewels hanging around their necks.

They were all middle-aged to old people.

“Who are you?”

“Why are you helping out the Tristan Family?” An old man asked. He is wearing the jewels of a weird shape.

I asked the system to probe. Because I’m seeing this for the first time.

[Ding! They are level-9 Wizards.]

I hear that system voice in my mind. I confirmed their exact strength.

Then I replied, “I don’t know who you guys are either?”

“But I have promised the Head of the family to protect his son,” I added.

Hearing that the faces of these people have changed. I think they are from a certain organisation. I don’t know whether it’s a white or black faction.

“Are you going to mess with Aethel Society?” The old man asked.

“Aethel Society?” I asked in my heart.

As I guess it is an organisation. But I don’t know whether it’s a good or a bad organisation.

“I’m giving you a chance to live. Just leave this city right away,” The old man said.

The rest of the seven people were glaring at me.

As if they were ready to strike me at any time.

Hearing that I became hesitant. I have agreed to help the Head of the Tristan Family. But I have got myself into something else.

But the Family Head’s son has a teacher. The teacher must be from the white faction. Since there are no Supreme Wizards or above here.

I can escape from the current situation.

“I will leave after reaching Willow Peak City. If you guys try to stop me, then I’ll fight back,” I said to the old man.

[Ding! Killing intentions were detected.]

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that I cast the magic spell out of instinct.

“Gravity Field”

I cast the magic spell with the 6th stage amplification. A powerful gravitational force appears out of nowhere.

The eight people are within my spell casting range. The powerful spell struck their body.

I don’t want to kill them. A serious injury would be enough for them.

I’ll decide everything after figuring out their organisation.

The wizards let out a muffled grunt. Everyone was hurt. Their bodies were under pressure. As if a huge mountain were placed above them.

The weaker among them lay flat on the ground.

Shortly afterwards,

One after another bends their knees under the pressure. The Gravitational force is starting to break their bones.

Everyone is feeling pain and trouble to remain conscious. They couldn’t believe the masked man had such terrific magic.

Their faces written with horror and hearts full of disbelief. They didn’t see how the masked man cast the magic spell.

A few seconds later,

Everyone started to cough up a mouthful of blood because of an injury. Their black dress is getting dyed in blood as well.

On the other hand, I want them to be severely injured so they don’t follow me.

Shortly afterwards, I dismissed the magic spell and left the place. The eight of them were lying in the pool of blood.

A few minutes later, I arrived at the transport service company. I saw the Head of the family was waiting with others.

Upon seeing me, he heaved a sigh of relief. But my gaze fell on the old man. His face was full of disbelief and fear.

Head John was confused. He saw that the guests were looking at his staff. When his gaze turned toward the staff. He saw that the old man was scared.

“This old man is listening to the orders of the Aethel Society People,” I said to Head John.

Hearing that old man was stunned. He was completely exposed right now.

The next second, he starts to flee without turning back. John’s eyes reddened in anger. He understood something.

He looked at the guards behind him and signalled them to act. The guards were patrol guards here. They immediately began to chase the old man.

Head John looks serious.

“What happened?”John asked.

“I met with people from that society. They wanted me to leave. But I have told them that I would do that after going to Willow Peak City.”

“A battle broke out. I have injured them. Before they could get any help from their society. I think I should leave with your son,” I said to him.

Hearing that, John understood that danger had already surrounded them.

“My son is in the airship. Let’s go there,” After saying that John guided me towards the airship.

I’m thinking that the airship is a little outdated. We need something similar to an aircraft or an air vehicle.

Soon, we reached the airship area. Then what I saw was something else. It’s a small-sized airship.

It’s a little bigger than the aircraft. It’s enough for five people to travel.

Then I saw a green-haired young man of a similar age standing inside.

Head John brought me there.

“Bran, meet the masked man. He is your Protector. He will leave you after reaching Willow Peak City,” John said to his son.

Hearing that his quiet son turned towards me and started to ask.

“Is he strong?”

John replied, “He just fought with the society people earlier.”
