"They only need a tiny catalyst to be ignited!"

"And only by doing this has Leon gained the dignity of a human being and stopped being bullied, therefore, evil is the main theme of this world, righteousness and morality are merely obstacles preventing the world’s development."

Adam did not answer, he merely stared quietly at the Devourer of Desires.

"I will give you an opportunity right now, join us, and I will make you the strongest Evil God under my command," seeing Adam remain silent, the Devourer of Desires fixed those pitch-black pupils upon him.

For a powerhouse like Adam, once he fell to evil, he would generate a massive amount of high-quality evil qi, this would be incredibly nourishing for the Devourer of Desires, and might even allow it to ascend to that supreme domain.

Adam’s gaze was profound and firm, he gently shook his head, his voice soft but carrying unquestionable power.

"Devourer of Desires, you may be able to see through the dark side of the human heart, but you have ignored the most dazzling light within human nature, what you see is only a part of this world, not its entirety."

"The reason humans are human is not just because we possess desires and evil, but even more so because we can restrain these negative emotions and pursue kindness, justice, and light, Leon’s plight is indeed sympathetic, but his choice was not the only way out, fighting violence with violence will only trap hatred in an infinite loop."

A mocking smile hooked the corners of the Devourer of Desires’ mouth, "Hmph, easy for you to say, if you truly understood human nature, how could you not know how few can hold on to their original heart facing despair? Leon’s choice is nothing more than a weakling’s struggle."

Adam smiled faintly, the light of wisdom flickering in his eyes, "That is exactly why we need guidance and redemption, to use love and hope to illuminate those lost souls, rather than letting them sink, what Leon needed was not more hatred, but understanding and forgiveness, to rediscover the light in his heart."

"Furthermore," Adam’s tone turned severe, "your very existence disrupts this world’s order, you try to strengthen yourself by inciting evil in human nature, yet ignore the catastrophe once it spirals out of control, true power should protect, not destroy."

The Devourer of Desires’ expression shifted, it had not expected Adam to reject its temptation so resolutely, "Do you think you can stop me? This world is filled with desire and greed, as long as these exist, I will never disappear."

Adam shook his head, "I may not stop everyone’s evil thoughts, but as long as people are willing to step forward with love and justice, the light will disperse the haze, you will ultimately be defeated."

His figure blurred, he charged straight at the infant.

"Enough nonsense, these tricks won’t work on me, we might as well fight directly."

"Nonsense? No, the game I’ve prepared has only just begun, did you think Leon’s story ended here? It’s far from even starting."

The infant’s mouth curled up, its small hands emitted a bizarre black shockwave that blasted Adam back, to his astonishment, Adam felt his body falling, completely out of control.

Boom!

The sensation of a soul entering a body, to his shock, his perspective merged directly with Leon’s.

Right before his eyes was crimson blood and the little girl’s corpse, eyes open in death, he could feel the warmth of her blood.

Was this to force him to continue living Leon’s life?

"Experience it well, I look forward to your life choices," the infant’s voice echoed out and then vanished.

Adam frowned, utilizing divine abilities to break free from Leon’s body, but it was completely impossible, Leon’s body acted like shackles, trapping him firmly inside.

This appeared to be the infant’s special ability, capable of dragging a person into a world of its construction, however, it seemed unable to actually harm his soul, otherwise, this ability would be too invincible, to think that even he could not break free.

It seemed he had to walk through Leon’s life himself.

He laid the little girl on the ground, looked at the village engulfed in flames, turned around, and left.

Since he was now Leon, he would not commit any more massacres, even though his heart was incredibly manic and his hands twitched with the urge to kill, he restrained himself.

The vengeance that needed to be taken had been taken, continuing would only result in meaningless slaughter.

He knew the Devourer of Desires wanted to corrupt him through Leon’s lifetime, in that case, he would use the right methods to purify Leon’s life, with his mental strength, achieving this would be far too simple.

Extraterrestrial space.

The Devourer of Desires watched Adam walking among the mountains and rivers, its eyes carrying disdain, "Adam, things aren’t going to be that simple."

...

In the ancient and tranquil Flowing Town, the spring sunlight fell gently, all living things revived and brimmed with vitality.

Here there was a young man named Leon, like a warm spring breeze, he wove through every corner of the small town.

The people of the town did not know when he had arrived, nor did they know his background, but everyone knew one thing, this young man named Leon was a genuinely good person.

Using his warm and kind heart, he made everyone in town fall in love with him.

That was right, this Leon was Adam, because he did not know how Leon’s life had developed afterward, he simply went to a brand-new town and acted as a great person, he did this to purify all the evil deeds Leon had committed.

That woman in the white dress never appeared again either.

Early one morning, with a light mist swirling about, Adam got up bright and early, wearing a simple yet clean green robe and carrying a bamboo basket in hand, he stepped into the market.

...

His first stop was the home of Aunt Vina, located on the eastern side of the town.

Aunt Vina was elderly and frail, and her children had traveled far from home, so she was often short of food and clothing, Adam knocked softly on the door, it creaked open, revealing Aunt Vina’s wrinkled yet kindly face.

"Oh my, it’s Leon, come in, come in quickly," Aunt Vina beamed from ear to ear, looking as though she had just seen her own family.
