Therefore, even with help from the archers on the walls, the Human Race army was barely holding its own against the Pigmen in close combat.

"Everyone, stand back! Leave these Pigmen to us!"

The Super Gravity Slimes in the sky shouted loudly.

The Human Race soldiers looked toward the source of the voice. Seeing that it was these strange, supposedly powerful reinforcements who had spoken, they hesitated for a moment before fighting their way back to disengage from the battle.

The Pigmen heard the Super Gravity Slimes as well. They had no idea what abilities these strange, black spheres flying in the sky possessed. However, they figured that as long as they stayed mixed in with the humans, the black spheres wouldn’t be able to act for fear of hitting the wrong target.

"Stay on them!" a voice cried out from among the Pigmen. All the Pigmen pursued the retreating Human Race soldiers, attacking relentlessly.

Seeing this, the Super Gravity Slimes waited no longer.

Gravity Fields manifested around them one after another. The steps of the retreating Human Race soldiers grew lighter while the Pigmen’s steps became heavy. The distance between the two sides rapidly widened.

Before the Pigmen could figure out what was happening, an even greater gravitational force pressed down on them.

In an instant, none of the Pigmen could even walk. The armor on their bodies felt as if it had turned to heavy black iron, and the shields in their hands became unbearably weighty. Their grips loosened, and the shields fell to the ground with a heavy THUD.

"What’s happening to me?"

The lead Pigman stared blankly at his own hands, which he could only lift with immense effort, his face a mask of disbelief.

Then, he saw that his companions were all in the same state. Some of the weaker ones had already collapsed to the ground under the force of the gravity.

He looked up. All of this had only started after those black spheres in the sky had appeared.

He let out a terrified roar. "What have you done?!"

The Super Gravity Slimes ignored the Pigman’s cry, simply continuing to increase the gravity within the Gravity Fields.

Under the ever-increasing gravity, none of the Pigmen could remain standing and were all forced to the ground.

Finally, with agonized wails, their bodies were gradually crushed into the ground until they moved no more.

The human soldiers who witnessed this scene retreated again and again in fear, not daring to get any closer to the terrifying black spheres.

Having dealt with the Pigmen who had charged into the fortress, the Super Gravity Slimes continued flying forward, soon arriving at the hole beneath the fortress wall.

There, they were surprised to discover more Pigmen digging away. The Pigmen were taking things out of small backpacks and burying them in the tunnel.

"Well, look what we have here!" the Super Gravity Slimes exclaimed in surprise.

The Pigmen in the tunnel spotted them and immediately pulled out another object, intending to detonate the charges.

But no matter how fast they were, they couldn’t out-speed gravity. As another Gravity Field unfurled, all the Pigmen in the tunnel were slammed to the ground.

Their fate was the same as their brethren who had stormed the fortress; they, too, were ultimately crushed into the earth.

After resolving the crisis inside the fortress, the Super Gravity Slimes had the ordinary Human Race soldiers—who were keeping their distance—clear out the buried charges. Then, the Slimes exited the hole in the wall and went outside the fortress.

Outside the fortress, Beastmen were still constantly approaching, and they were no longer just Pigmen.

In response, a few of the Super Gravity Slimes flew out, landed in front of the hole, and deployed a Gravity Wall.

Any Beastman that touched this Gravity Wall was either repelled, sent tumbling headfirst, or launched into the air only to come crashing back down.

With the support of the Super Gravity Slimes, the human soldiers on the walls could finally attack without restraint, no longer fearing that any beasts might slip through their defenses.
