Chapter 1411: Warlord Nosphaleen [Bonus]

[Fuck you Chrono. I curse you to piss instead of jizz and jizz instead of piss. May you be banned from every public bathroom in the world] If it was just Reverse Fusion acting right now, Nosphaleen wouldn’t be in pain in the first place.

The real reason she was in so much pain was because Sylas had layered it with Echo Fuse at the same time.

He was using his Dominus Paragon Title to force her Mental to increase acutely and stacking it with Echo Fuse to reach into the future to unearth more of her potential.

When these two things came together…

She was rapidly improving in real time.

There was only one piece of the puzzle remaining—something Sylas had in spades now. So much wealth and yet nowhere to use it until now.

Resources.

Sylas took out several unique fruits. Some increased Intelligence, others Wisdom, and others Charisma.

Much like the ones he had eaten for his Intelligence, they usually had much worse effects after the first time. However… what Sylas had noticed was that the resistance the body had to these could be tweaked.

Months ago, Sylas realized that when he formed a new slot for a Warlord Armor Gene, his body made space ahead of time. However, whether that succeeded or not was still unknown.

He speculated that if he did this enough times, he could open up enough slots to absorb higher-level Genes.

This ended up being unnecessary thanks to his Primus Imperium Title. Since he could even absorb E-Grade Genes, his usual limits for F-Grade Genes had, obviously, been increased exponentially as a result.

If he were to try to absorb his F-Grade Scorpion Emperor Legendary Gene now, he would definitely succeed, and his power would increase exponentially as a result.

However, just because the idea was now useless for him didn’t mean it was the case for his Contracts. In fact, since they were his Contracts, it was even easier.

His original plan would have required upgrading [Madness Control] yet again. But that was only necessary if his target was his own body. After all, he wasn’t a Serpentes. But… his Contracts were.

With his Contracts, he had access to abilities like Echo Fuse and Reverse Fusion, so he could actively force things like this. But he also had auxiliary abilities that came from his Insight Path Talent—abilities that allowed him to comprehend their Gene Sequences innately, to sense their Evolution triggers, to have an Intuition about what helped them to progress.

This was all to say that the things [Madness Control] would aid him in doing, he already had in Vipermancy in regard to his own Contracts. In fact, these abilities were far more powerful than any [Madness Control] he could craft right now.

The only thing stopping him from making his Contracts even more powerful than himself was time and resources. And now, he certainly had the latter.

These fruits would usually lose effectiveness after a few. But the reason these fruits lost effectiveness so quickly was because they could only push the boundaries of your body so far.

These fruits weren’t all-powerful. They could only increase the limits of your body so much. But, if, theoretically, the limits of your body were being increased by something else, and all the fruits had to do was fill in that obvious and now empty space… They could work indefinitely.

Nosphaleen felt her Mental stats increasing at breakneck pace. Just when she thought she would reach her limit, it increased again.

Dominus Paragon was constantly pushing against her boundaries. Every time her Mental stats increased, her benefits from it likewise increased. This was the power of a percentage-based increase.

But that wasn’t all.

Every time her foundation improved, Echo Fuse also improved as well, changing the future and making her stronger as a result.

The two worked in conjunction, and Sylas’ supply of Mental fruits just seemed endless. But he wasn’t even making Nosphaleen eat them—he was crushing them with his telekinesis, extricating their Aether and the Genes that made them so powerful, and then feeding them right into Nosphaleen’s pores and body with Extricate once again.

It wasn’t until Sylas felt that Nosphaleen’s current body was running up against its utmost limits that he finally stopped.

He knew that this wasn’t her limit. It was just that if he pushed any further, she would snap like an elastic band. She needed more time to adapt first.

Luckily…

There was the Hibernation Realm.

“Go and rest. We start again soon.”

Nosphaleen’s little fists clenched with excitement. Sylas hadn’t forgotten her after all. This speed of improvement… She vanished into the Hibernation Realm, and in just 30 seconds, Sylas pulled her out again. That much time was already overkill. With the accelerated recovery of the Realm, even that much time was unnecessary. But he chose extra precaution regardless.

“Again.”

The cycle seemed to increase endlessly, and Sylas didn’t stop until he quite literally ran out of fruits.

But once he did run out of fruits, he began to stuff Nosphaleen’s body with all the Mental Genes he had. If he left things like this, she would be in a terrible State of Expenditure. Her stats would be powerful, but her Effectiveness and recovery would be in the drain.

Luckily… Sylas had more money than he knew what to do with. And he had a feeling that very soon, he would have even more.

“Good.”

[Nosphaleen Tideborn (Bronze)]

[Level: 50]

[Physical: 5]

>[Strength: 5]>[Constitution: 5]>[Dexterity: 5]>[Speed: 5]

[Mental: 20000]

>[Intelligence: 20000]>[Wisdom: 20000]>[Charisma: 20000]

[Will: 20]

Nosphaleen’s stats were currently very unbalanced, but Sylas had already expected exactly this much. 20000 Mental still wasn’t her limit, but he had built it up to this point on purpose. Now, it was time to pivot.

“Now you’re ready. Go on.”

Sylas took a breath, recovering for a moment himself before he activated Reverse Fusion again. This time, even more insights flooded into her mind.

Nosphaleen didn’t collapse like she had the first time. Instead, her eyes shone brighter and brighter.

And then, the howl of a Whale came from her body. She extended a slender finger, drawing across the air.
