Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.
Chapter 452: Kiara Dumps Bambi
Faye finally reached the gym after her quick shopping. She unpacked her bags and stepped inside the main hall, where Malo was already there, super busy sweeping and cleaning the gym floors. He immediately began complaining out loud about the workers not showing up on time, starting with Peamah, who happened to be out of town right now for the official school basketball championship.
Malo went on and on, talking about how the whole championship was being coordinated by a powerful Were-witch and how the crazy, unpredictable weather basically decided whether the game could go on or not. He seemed to have an endless supply of complaints that morning, jumping from one subject to another while continuing to push the broom across the floor.
Faye barely paid attention to him.
Sasha was not back yet from her trip, and neither was Haley anywhere to be seen.
Bambi was also getting pretty late for her usual morning work shift.
Faye just ignored all his random bantering and quietly started helping out. She moved around the gym, cleaning down the exercise machines and wiping off the large glass walls. She did not complain about the missing workers or ask where everyone else was.
Between the two of them, they slowly worked through the entire gym. The room gradually became cleaner, with the machines wiped down, the floors swept, and the glass walls cleared of dust and fingerprints.
By the time they were fully finished cleaning up the whole gym, both of them were ready to sit down.
Malo sat down and ate the donut Faye had bought for him earlier, while Faye happily snacked on her massive double beef burger and salty chips at the exact same time.
For a little while, everything seemed normal.
Malo eventually decided to quickly check on Dre. He pulled out his device, called her screen, and asked her all about her current work progress.
Dre clearly said she already had 20 sea creatures fully locked in her possession.
The two best friends were super happy to hear that good news.
They quickly opened up the main tracking app together to double check and confirm the information. There was no mistake. The digital screen map clearly showed twenty living beasts all stacked in one single location.
That was really huge progress for them.
Faye looked over the information carefully while Malo checked the details again. Everything matched what Dre had reported, meaning they had already reached a number that would have seemed almost impossible when they first started the task.
They were happy to see everything going so smoothly. They even started thinking the whole hard job might actually be fully done long before six months passed.
For once, the enormous task ahead of them did not feel quite so impossible.
While the two of them were busy talking about their business plans, Bambi slowly walked inside through the front entrance.
At first, neither of them noticed anything was wrong with her.
Faye turned around in her seat and saw Bambi carrying a huge, heavy backpack over her shoulder with her face tilted completely down toward the floor.
Something immediately felt wrong.
"Bambi, what is wrong with you? Why do you have such a sad face?" Faye asked, stepping closer to her.
Bambi didn’t say a single word back.
She simply stood right there on the gym mat and began to burst into heavy tears, sobbing out loud where she stood.
The sudden crying instantly caught both of their attention.
"What on earth happened to you?" Malo asked, dropping his food and rushing over.
Bambi slowly tried to calm her heavy breathing down, but big tear drops were still rapidly shedding down her face.
"Kiara woke up early this morning, and then she broke up with me out of nowhere. She told me to my face that she doesn’t want me around anymore and then she kicked me straight out of the house..." Bambi continued to cry loudly, hiding her face in her small hands.
Faye said absolutely nothing back at first.
She immediately reached out and pulled her Beta into a tight hug.
Bambi did not resist. She simply buried herself against Faye and allowed everything she had been holding inside to finally come out. Faye fully allowed the poor girl to cry as much as she wanted right against her shoulder, letting every single bit of her pain out.
"I did everything she ever wanted me to do for her. Every single thing. Even when she didn’t reciprocate my feelings back, I still managed to make it work. I really do love her so much. I thought I was her special person..." Bambi cried out, her voice cracking completely.
Faye gently continued holding her.
"Oh, it’s okay. Everything is going to be okay..." Faye said softly, gently stroking her back and trying to calm the poor girl down.
It took a while before Bambi’s crying finally began to slow down. Her breathing was still uneven, and her eyes were swollen from all the tears, but at least she was no longer sobbing as heavily as before.
When Bambi was finally done crying her eyes out, she walked over and sat down on the bench.
She pulled her legs closer and stared down at the floor, looking completely drained.
Malo watched her for a few seconds before quietly trying to offer some comfort in the only strange way he seemed to know.
"You want some donuts?" Malo quietly offered the girl his half-eaten donut box.
"I don’t want any donuts. I just want Kiara back..." Bambi said, pulling her knees up tight against her chest.
"Look, you can have a donut right now, but you cannot have Kiara because she is not a donut..."
"Malo, shut up and sit down over there..." Faye called out, glaring sharply at him.
Malo immediately stopped talking.
Faye quietly stood there and watched as Bambi looked completely miserable and broken. The poor girl was curled up tight on the bench, silently sulking and crying to herself.
No matter how hard they tried to cheer her up, Bambi was still deeply hurt and crying.
Faye knew there was not much she could say that would suddenly make everything better. Bambi had clearly given her whole heart to Kiara, and whatever had happened that morning had left her feeling completely unwanted.
Faye’s expression slowly hardened.
She really wished in her heart that she could do something useful for her Beta, something to help fix her completely broken heart right now.
"I will be right back, Malo. Do not say a single stupid thing to her until I return here, and do not leave Bambi’s side for even a second," Faye said firmly before she turned around and left the gym doors completely.
She was personally going straight out to confront the person who had just broke her Beta’s heart.
