Chapter 325: Chapter 40: Knowledge is Indeed Wealth, the Astounding Mo Ning
Without Flower’s guidance, she would have been completely unable to bargain with Old Nan De, let alone sell it for the high price of 315 Black Tower Points.
That’s why she had to thank Mr. Mo Ning!
’The teacher was right. Knowledge really is wealth!’
Miss Dazed deeply felt the weight of those words.

As morning light streamed into Waterfront Lecture Hall 26, the paid course for *Divination Analysis Theory in Spiritual Magic Pattern Study (Part Two)* began.
Because the lecturer, Lola, had deliberately left a little "hook" during the last class—offering to critique the students’ Magic Pattern Study projects—the number of attendees was only one person short of the previous session.
For most lecturers, this was an enviable retention rate.
Lola glanced around the room. As usual, her gaze lingered on Mo Ning’s face for a moment longer before she greeted him with a smile.
"Mo Ning, it’s only been a few days, but I feel like your power has grown considerably."
Her words instantly made Mo Ning the center of attention.
Even a fool could understand what "grown considerably" meant coming from a Third Level Apprentice.
Mo Ning, long accustomed to this special treatment, simply smiled and replied, "I’ve been practicing the Birch Magic Breath Technique recently and made a little progress."
Lola, keenly aware that the others were very interested in this topic, followed up on it. "So you’re saying you’ve successfully constructed a Secondary Magic Pool?"
Mo Ning nodded calmly. "Yes."
The Lecture Hall instantly erupted in an uproar.
Among the Apprentices present, even the fastest one had analyzed less than a quarter of the Magic Pool’s structure. They couldn’t believe someone had already successfully constructed it.
Lola pressed on, "What did you feel the moment you succeeded?"
She was actually asking on behalf of the other students, a move to win their favor and encourage them to attend future courses.
Mo Ning didn’t hold back and even shared a little tip.
"When the ripples of the two Magic Pools collide, they create a wondrous melody within the Spiritual World. For a moment, it was like I was listening to the surging tide of the ocean."
For most of the people there, his words were a bit mystifying.
But Lola understood immediately.
"Everyone, Mo Ning is telling us that the ripples from the Main Magic Pool will affect the formation of the Secondary Magic Pool."
"Therefore, as you near completion, you must keep the Main Magic Pool stable. This is a very important tip."
She added a word of praise, "Thank you for your generous insight, Mr. Mo Ning!"
The others looked at Mo Ning with a newfound trace of gratitude in their eyes.
Lola then began to fulfill her promise from the last lecture. "Alright everyone, if you’ve completed a Magic Pattern project, please take it out."
She didn’t require them to present a project. After all, this was a paid course, and no lecturer would be foolish enough to make such a demand.
Magic Pattern Study was a very expensive field. Creating items with Magic Patterns required a significant investment, and not every Apprentice had the funds or time to complete the assignment.
More than sixty percent of the Apprentices took out their projects.
Lola cast the Level Zero Witchcraft, [Magic Hand], and quickly brought the projects to her one by one. She would give each a cursory glance before moving on to the next.
Given her skill level, calling these projects "crude" would have been a compliment; there was no need to examine them closely.
When Lola’s gaze landed on Mo Ning’s project, she took one look and her expression turned to one of astonishment.
The project was a simple, black, rectangular metal block, completely unremarkable in appearance.
Lola turned it over and over, her face filled with admiration. "I can’t believe this was completed in just five days."
All eyes immediately locked onto the metal block.
Lola quietly channeled a wisp of Spiritual Power into it, activating the Magic Pattern Core.
In the next moment, a dazzling transformation occurred.
The metal block instantly sprang to life. Strips of metal rapidly unfolded, continuously interlocking, clicking, and assembling until, in less than half a second, it had transformed into a metal helmet.
A rough estimate suggested at least a thousand moving parts, each part representing a single Magic Pattern.
The helmet’s surface was also engraved with intricate patterns, making it exceptionally exquisite.
The Apprentices were all dumbfounded.
’This is the "simple" project of a First Level Apprentice?’
’This is insane!’
Mo Ning stood calmly in place, as if completely unaware of the unprecedented shock his creation had delivered to everyone else.
’He had only brought out this project because he wanted to hear Lola’s opinion.’
’It was a good opportunity to perhaps gain some valuable inspiration, so of course, he wasn’t going to hold back.’
