Fated love: the unwanted bride

Chapter 2736: No Encounter, No Ending

  • Next Chapter

In the morning, Jasmine Yale awoke to the sound of honking cars.

Although the city is not large, it remains vibrant.

A white mist covers the city, with white particles floating in the air. From a distance, the sunlight pierces through the clouds, dyeing them golden.

Little Clementine was already awake, crawling around on the bed.

Jasmine Yale got dressed and then put a sweater on Little Clementine.

"Baby, how about Mommy takes you to a fun place?" Jasmine Yale bent down, patiently coaxing Little Clementine as usual.

Little Clementine looked up at her, eyes clear and bright.

"Alright, it won’t disappoint you. It’s a very interesting place with lots of things you’ve never seen before, and many adorable brothers and sisters who will play with you."

"Okay." The little guy mumbled in response.

"Everyone will be good to Little Clementine."

She patiently fed Little Clementine breakfast before taking the little one and their suitcase by taxi to the station.

The bus to Green Peak Village runs only once every half month. The journey is winding, with eighteen bends along the mountain road, taking almost five hours to reach the destination.

This isolated place rarely sees signs of humanity on the road, only endless scenery.

Rolling hills, green lakes, winding ravines, and an endless blue sky.

Everything is beautiful, like a paradise away from the world.

Autumn in the country is colder; the maple leaves on the mountains have turned red, looking like flames spreading across the hills.

Jasmine Yale chose a window seat, holding Little Clementine while looking outside.

Little Clementine has always enjoyed the world outside the window. She pressed her little face against the glass, engrossed, as if she had never seen such a delightful place. It was different from anywhere she’d seen before.

She was filled with curiosity, refusing to sleep, standing on Jasmine Yale’s lap, gazing out.

The glass had a faint white mist, and when Little Clementine placed her small hand on it, a cute little handprint was left immediately.

Little Clementine played to her heart’s content, happily entertained by herself.

Jasmine Yale watched her antics with a smile on her lips.

The scenery outside is the most beautiful she has seen in years. In recent years, she has been too busy, her mind occupied by things she shouldn’t have been thinking about, never properly appreciating the view.

In the future, she can calm down, take her time, knowing this is her world, free from deceit, pure and clean.

No need for calculations, no worrying, no caution.

The car gradually drove deeper into the mountains.

She knew she was getting farther from the outside world.

She had changed to a new SIM card and looked at the weak signal on her phone, unsure of when she would next leave the mountains.

No houses along the way, no smoke from kitchens, no signs of people, only occasional cows and sheep, seeming ownerless.

Everything is original and natural.

Jasmine Yale greedily watched outside. She loved the landscape here and was willing to settle down.

In recent years, her life had no pattern, even a mess.

But now, she can live the life she desires.

Just like when she was young, carefree.

Many people, without meeting, there is no ending.

The car arrived at the orphanage in the afternoon.

The conditions here are indeed poor, with low houses and muddy land everywhere.
