Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)
Chapter 174: The Wedding Day
The wedding venue was set in a beautiful, open garden, surrounded by green grass and beautiful flowers blooming in every direction. From left to right, rows of white lilies were carefully placed in even lines, creating a clear path toward the altar. Their soft petals stood out against the green garden, making the whole place look bright and peaceful.
The white chairs were arranged neatly for the arriving guests, each one decorated with a ribbon tied around the back. A small gift card had also been placed on every chair, waiting for the family and friends who would soon fill the quiet garden with their voices and laughter.
At the end of the long garden path stood the altar, decorated with balloons and surrounded by rose petals scattered across the ground. The petals formed a soft, red trail around the area where Angel and April would soon stand together as a married couple.
Above them, the morning sky was completely clear and calm, making the entire garden feel almost like it had been prepared especially for them. There was really nothing overly extravagant about the setting. It was simple, warm, and beautiful.
But for Angel and April, none of those decorations really mattered at all.
This was officially the big day they had been waiting for.
A simple garden, surrounded by flowers, family, friends, and all the people they loved.
A day they would never forget.
April was sitting inside the cottage, all dressed up in her beautiful pearl wedding gown. Her long, dark hair was styled into soft, flowing curls, framing her face perfectly, while her subtle makeup brought out her natural beauty. She stood up in front of the mirror, taking one final look at herself, hardly believing that this was finally her real wedding day.
Today, instead of wearing her usual daily glasses, April had explicitly decided to wear contact lenses. She was definitely sure Angel was going to notice the sudden difference and immediately ask about her glasses the moment she saw her.
April was already imagining the exact silly question Angel was going to ask her, and she couldn’t help but smile warmly at the thought.
There was a soft, steady knock on the door, and when the person entered, it was her dad.
August stood by the doorframe, staring at his beautiful daughter. Never in his life would he have ever believed that he would one day stand right there and watch his first daughter get married.
For a quiet moment, he simply stayed where he was, taking in the full sight of April in her white wedding gown, looking far more grown-up than the little girl he remembered raising.
"Wow, my daughter is all grown up... Today, she is officially going to become somebody’s wife..." August said with teary eyes. He was so emotional that he quickly removed his glasses and wiped his tears away.
The two shared a tight, loving hug right there.
April was about to cry as well.
"No, my girl, please don’t cry. If you cry right now, you are going to completely ruin your makeup," August said quickly, patting her back.
"I won’t, Dad. I will save it for after the wedding... I just really can’t believe I’m getting married today. I’m so thrilled..." April smiled brightly through her emotions.
Then the door opened wider, and Ms. Cecilia entered with baby Mars strapped comfortably to her chest.
"Oh my goodness, April, you look absolutely stunning... Look at you..." Ms. Cecilia embraced her stepdaughter gently. "Look, August, your daughter is so incredibly beautiful..."
"I know, right?" August said, smiling proudly.
Meanwhile, over at the Del Rosario mansion, Angel was completely ready for the wedding. Her suit was perfectly fitted to her body, making her look sharp and elegant. Her long, red-wine hair fell beautifully around her shoulders, adding even more to her stunning appearance.
Today was finally the big day she had been waiting for.
Her grandmothers sat her down in the living room, taking a few quiet, serious moments to remind Angel what it truly meant to become a good wife and mother. They talked to her about patience, deep responsibility, and always being there for the family she was building with April.
From reminding her that her Omega wife was always right to telling her to always say yes to April, the endless advice kept coming. Angel listened carefully to every word, even though some of it made her smile awkwardly.
Grandma Paula then brought out something very special from a wooden box. It was her original wedding cowgirl hat, the very same hat she had worn on her own wedding day years ago.
She gently handed it over to Angel, allowing her granddaughter to understand just how meaningful the moment was. Angel carefully placed the hat on her head, and somehow, it made her look more stunning than ever before.
The old hat carried years of heavy memories, and now it was becoming part of Angel’s own wedding day.
Then Grandma Lucinda stepped closer and tied a simple ribbon around Angel’s wrist. It was not just any random ribbon. It had once belonged directly to Lucille, Angel’s mother.
Angel looked down at it quietly, knowing she was carrying a small, powerful piece of her mother with her on one of the most important days of her life.
June entered the room shortly after, bringing her little sister, who was now walking on her own two feet. June held her little sister’s finger carefully, guiding her toward Angel.
When June finally saw Angel in her suit and hat, she gasped out loud at her sister-in-law.
"Awww, you look so amazing... My big sister April is so lucky to have someone like you in her life... I am definitely going to marry someone smart and beautiful just like you when I grow up..." June said.
Everyone in the room immediately started laughing out loud at the little girl’s innocent words.
Angel smiled warmly and walked right over to the two sisters. She carefully picked up June and Julie together, giving them both a big, loud kiss on their cheeks.
"Pinky promise..." June said, holding out her little pinky finger directly toward Angel. "Promise me that you will never let my big sister April cry, and you will protect her and give her plenty of love, just like my daddy gives my mommy plenty of love every day..."
Angel looked at the little girl’s serious expression before gently joining her own pinky finger with June’s.
"I pinky promise to love and protect your big sister for the rest of my life, and I’m never going to make her cry."
"It is done... I wish you the absolute best..."
