Evolving My Undead Legion In A Game-Like World

Chapter 1046 Legendary Grade Treasure [2]

It was evident it would take a while to grow, though depending on the nourishment Michael's soul provided it, that process could be shorter or longer.

For several moments, Michael simply stared at the miniature mausoleum resting on his palm. Then he laughed softly.

"Five hundred thousand points."

Michael shook his head. "It was definitely worth it."

Though he was pleased, Michael also understood that this was a treasure that should not see the light of day.

There was a saying that a poor man carrying a great treasure invites his own ruin.

Putting aside everything else, Michael felt that the World Seed the treasure contained could potentially drive Demigods to chase him to the ends of the universe.

Unless absolutely necessary, the only visible function of this treasure would be to serve as a storage item.

Michael drew the treasure back into his soul and turned his senses inward.

After all, he had merged two of his strongest items to create something better. It was time to see the state of the world within.

"Wow, it is so huge!"

An hour later, after relocating the four thousand plus undead he left a hundred miles from where he evolved the Mausoleum into the Mausoleum's storage space, Michael stepped inside with his physical body for the first time.

Before entering physically, Michael had already learned several things through his connection with the Mausoleum of Endless Dominion. The first was the most important.

The inner space was vast. Not merely larger than the Damaged Coffin of the Forgotten and the spatial ring combined, but absurdly larger. .

According to the information transmitted to him, the internal domain was already comparable to a medium-sized country from his previous world.

Michael had no exact measurement, but judging from his perception, the space stretched across hundreds of thousands of square kilometers.

It also possessed everything a world would naturally have. Mountains. Rivers. Forests. Plains. Valleys. Lakes. Everything existed inside.

Sections of the domain were also divided into several special regions. Currently Michael only recognized the most obvious ones. For other special areas he would still need to conduct an extensive search, or leave the task to his undead.

The first was a vast land shrouded in grey mist. Death energy gathered there naturally, making it the most suitable place for undead to rest or recover.

The second was a mountain region filled with dense earth and death attributes.

Beginning immediately found this place suitable, and Michael suspected many physically powerful undead would benefit from training there.

The third was a region filled with rich vitality. Forests grew there naturally, and faint green light flowed through the soil.

The fourth stretched across thousands of miles and was dominated by volcanoes, rivers of magma, and black mountains constantly releasing heat.

Occasionally, flames would erupt from the ground without warning before dissolving back into pure energy.

For fire-attributed creatures, this place was a paradise.

Spartan immediately became interested in the region.

The undead mage could absorb the surrounding fire energy to strengthen his Abyssal Pyre abilities while also using the harsh environment to temper his understanding of fire-related laws.

The fifth was an enormous inland sea filled with crystal-clear water.

Countless rivers from across the domain eventually flowed into this region before being purified and redistributed throughout the world.

The water attribute mana here was incredibly dense. Gentle rain frequently fell over the sea while powerful currents moved beneath the surface.

Any creature possessing water affinity would benefit greatly from training here. Even Michael himself felt slightly refreshed standing near it.

The sixth was an elevated region constantly swept by powerful winds. Lightning occasionally danced between dark clouds overhead while violent air currents crossed the land.

The seventh was the Golden Sun Fields. Unlike the deathly atmosphere found in many other regions, this area was filled with pure light and life energy.

Golden grass stretched to the horizon while warm sunlight permanently illuminated the land.

Michael suspected this region had formed because the Mausoleum was no longer purely a death-attributed treasure.

It was most likely due to the mysterious World Seed. The World Seed had introduced balance, and now life and death coexisted within the same space.

The last core area was the true center of the Mausoleum. It was a black shrine standing on a floating island above a silent lake, and Michael could sense that the young item spirit slept there.

Aside from these special regions, most of the space was ordinary land.

For the first time, Michael's undead legion truly had a home.

When Michael entered with his physical body, the scene before him made him pause. The sky above was a dim silver, neither day nor night.

A pale green sun hung high above, radiating gentle vitality, while a black moon floated beside it, releasing faint death energy.

The two forces did not clash. Instead, they circulated together in strange harmony.

Scattered across this vast world were Michael's undead. For once, they did not look crowded. In fact, they looked few.

If people lived here, they would probably live their whole lives not meeting one of his undead.

Michael stood silently for several moments, communicating further with the treasure to deepen his understanding.

Compared to his two previous treasures, Michael did not need to summon the Mausoleum to enter it.

Instead, when his physical body was drawn inside, his soul would separate and hide in a concealed pocket within the second layer of the void, maintaining his position.

When he came back out, his soul would return and merge with him again. This was something Michael had figured out early through his connection with the Mausoleum.

Suddenly Michael's eyes opened wide and his body trembled slightly.

"I can open a gate to this world that allows others to enter from anywhere in the universe? Is a Legendary Grade item truly this powerful?"
