Evolving My Undead Legion In A Game-Like World

Chapter 1045 Legendary Grade Treasure [1]

Chapter 1045 Legendary Grade Treasure [1]

Even from his distant position, Michael could feel his skin tingling from the excess lightning energy filling the air.

By the seventh bolt, small cracks had appeared across the cocoon. Michael's heart immediately tightened.

"Come on…"

The eighth bolt descended. The cracks multiplied. The cocoon dimmed.

Then came the final strike. The ninth tribulation lightning.

The clouds above churned violently as if gathering all remaining power. For a brief moment, the world became white.

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!

The lightning pillar descended. It completely swallowed the cocoon.

Silence followed. Michael's fists unconsciously clenched.

Several seconds passed.

Then the cocoon remained. Though covered in cracks, it had survived. The heavenly tribulation was over.

As if acknowledging the result, the dark clouds rapidly dispersed. Sunlight returned. The surrounding mana erupted, and gathered energy from tens of thousands of miles rushed toward the cocoon like countless rivers returning to the sea.

The cracked shell shattered. A dazzling radiance burst forth. The newborn treasure greedily absorbed the gathered energy as its aura rose continuously, becoming stronger, denser, and more profound.

Michael stared without blinking.

An hour later the light slowly condensed and the object hidden within finally revealed itself.

It was no longer a coffin. Nor was it a ring.

It resembled a miniature black shrine carved from obsidian, covered in silver runes and ancient patterns. Countless stars seemed to flow across its surface while an endless darkness existed within. One glance made Michael feel as if he were looking at an entire world.

Before he could inspect it further, WHOOSH!

The treasure shot toward him. "So fast!"

Michael barely reacted before the object reached him. Then it entered directly into his soul through the center of his forehead.

BOOM!

A connection instantly formed. Immediately, Michael's mind cleared as though a layer of dust had been wiped away. His soul space also strengthened and expanded from the feedback received, marking yet another first for Michael.

At the same time, countless pieces of information flooded into his mind.

A moment later, an excited Michael stared at the panel now floating before him.

[Item]: Mausoleum of Endless Dominion

[Grade]: Legendary ★

Bound to Michael Norman

[Description]: A legendary treasure born from a strange fusion. It contains a vast self-sustaining inner world suspended between life and death.

[Effect 1]: Eternal Dominion

Contains a massive internal world capable of sustaining life, death, and spiritual existence simultaneously.

The domain possesses mountains, rivers, forests, plains, and naturally regenerating mana. The owner may freely shape terrain, climate, and environmental conditions within certain limits.

Undead residing inside receive accelerated growth, recovery, and comprehension speed. Living creatures may also inhabit the domain without restriction.

[Effect 2]: Nether Gate

The owner may open a gateway connecting the domain to the Netherworld. The gate can be used to travel, summon undead, or establish temporary links between both realms.

Summoned undead may be up to one rank above the owner's rank. Duration and energy consumption depend on the strength of the summoned entity.

[Effect 3]: Dominion Pulse

The treasure may release a spatial shockwave. The pulse disrupts formations, barriers, domains, spatial structures, and weaker treasures while inflicting spiritual damage upon living targets.

Power scales with the amount of energy supplied.

[Effect 4]: Tomb of Rebirth

If the owner is killed, their soul will be anchored within the Mausoleum. After a period of recovery, the owner may resurrect within the Netherworld.

Each resurrection permanently consumes a portion of the treasure's accumulated origin energy.

Currently, the treasure can perform this function twice before becoming dormant for one hundred years.

[Effect 5]: World Seed (Sealed)

The internal domain possesses the potential to evolve into a true independent world. Growth requires vast quantities of origin energy. Current Progress: 0.01%

Michael carefully read through the information several more times. The more he read, the more satisfied he became.

It was obvious that the treasure's abilities were not random. Rather, they were the result of a perfect fusion between the two treasures that had created it.

Eternal Dominion originated from the Veilring of Quiet Dominion's living space.

Nether Gate and Tomb of Rebirth were inherited from the Damaged Coffin of the Forgotten.

Even Dominion Pulse was clearly an upgraded version of the Veilring's original attack.

Everything made sense. Everything except the last effect.

World Seed.

Michael's eyes lingered on the final line. A true independent world. Even someone with his limited knowledge understood the implications.

If this effect was real, then the treasure possessed the potential to become far more than a simple storage item. The possibilities were ridiculous.

Unfortunately, Michael had absolutely no idea what Origin Energy was, nor did he know where to find it. But one thing he was certain about was that anything capable of evolving a Legendary treasure into an independent world was definitely not cheap.

Still, that did nothing to diminish his excitement.

A smile appeared on his face. With a thought, Michael summoned the treasure, and the Mausoleum of Endless Dominion appeared above his palm.

It was only palm-sized now. The treasure no longer resembled a coffin or a ring. Instead, it looked like a miniature mausoleum carved from an unknown black metal.

The material seemed darker than obsidian, almost capable of swallowing light itself. Yet hidden within that darkness were faint streams of emerald-green radiance.

The green light flowed slowly through the surface like veins carrying life through a living organism. They could also be said to resemble roots spreading beneath soil.

The structure itself possessed several elegant layers, and at the center of the mausoleum rested a small circular emerald gem. The gem was not bright.

Instead, it emitted a gentle green glow filled with vitality. It stood in stark contrast to the surrounding darkness.

Deep within the treasure, Michael could sense a faint consciousness.

"An item spirit?"

As it was his first time dealing with something like this, his voice carried a hint of doubt. After sensing it a bit more, he confirmed it was truly an item spirit.

However, it was still very young and weak, like a newborn that had only just come into existence.
