"Holy shit," Bianca cursed, looking at how easily he had tamed the metallic beasts, and the danger she was feeling from Watson had almost tripled compared to before. Amanda also had a grim expression on her face, as she was feeling the same as Bianca.

"That ripple must be the skill," Amber mumbled.

"Yeah, I am curious. Can those kids also tame them? If that is true, then this clan will be a great asset," Rina muttered and looked with interest at Grace, who walked forward with caution, with Reed and Wanda following closely behind.

"You two, be careful. The moment the dragon moves, use your skill immediately," Grace looked at the children and said, and they nodded with enthusiasm.

Grace rubbed her temples, seeing their nonchalant look. Honestly, if it were any other time, she would have vehemently refused to allow her children to get close to such dangerous beasts, no matter how skilled they were at taming, but the situation demanded it, as she knew her husband wanted to impress Victor and get his help in saving the tribe. She knew that if the tribe swung the chance to bind with such powerful creatures, they would submit to the Silvernum Territory without hesitation.

"We understand, Mother," Reed said as he was about to sprint toward the dragon in impatience, but a hand grabbed his shoulder, and he saw Grace smiling at him, which made him shudder all over. "Mmm, I will wait for you first."

Reed said as he read the situation, while Wanda snorted.

Grace sighed as she walked toward the dragon. The moment the dragon saw Grace, it immediately started charging a breath attack, but before it could react, Grace activated her skill. "Pacify."

The next moment, the dragon bowed its head to Grace, and she exclaimed, "It’s really a hundred percent increase!"

The children could no longer hold back and ran forward and used their skill.

"Pacify."

"Pacify."

Ripples of light erupted from Reed and Wanda from a distance, and before the dragons could react, they felt a foreign presence in their heads, which made them look at the children gently. They even lowered their bodies as the children climbed onto them in excitement.

"Fly!"

"Fly, hahaha!"

Wanda and Reed giggled as they zoomed through the sky.

"Well, looks like they are useful after all," Victor nodded with satisfaction, seeing them fly with ease.

"Indeed, I thought the soldiers would need to get stronger to be able to tame them," Amber commented from the side, looking at the metallic dragons calmly.

"Lord Victor, would you like to spar? I want to test the strength of this dragon," Watson said with excitement, and Edward beside them frowned as he thought it was disrespectful, but Victor agreed. "You want to spar? Sure, I am also curious about your strength."

Victor immediately used the Eye of Insight on him.

"Oh, Tier 3?" Victor asked with a raised eyebrow.

Watson smiled bitterly and said, "They killed everyone above Tier 2 first, and then it was time for Tier 2. I managed to escape first and broke through while escaping."

"I see. Anyway, let’s start," Victor said.

Just as Victor was about to step forward, someone beat him to it, and everyone looked surprised.

"Princess?" Watson’s eyes widened when he saw Amanda.

"How about sparring with me? I am very curious about the strength of the metallic dragon," Amanda said with a smile and looked at Victor and asked, "You don’t mind, do you?"

"Be my guest," Victor said as he shrugged his shoulders.

The husband and wife looked at each other before nodding. "If you say so."

Watson said as the dragon flew upward to create some distance, and he shouted, "I will use a breath attack. You just block it; I just want to test its strength."

"Very well, bring it on," Amanda said as she gestured for him to attack her. She did not think for one second that Tier 3 could break through the defense of a Tier 4. Not everyone was freakish like Victor, Amber, or even Rina.

"Attack!" Watson’s face hardened as he commanded the dragon.

Roar!

The dragon roared and used its wings to descend while charging a breath attack.

"Hmph." Amanda snorted as she used a barrier-type skill from an artifact that could block Tier 3 Warlock attacks. Amanda wanted to let the attack leave the dragon’s mouth and collide with the barrier.

Bang!

"Heh." Amanda chuckled, seeing that the attack was blocked, but the next second, her expression changed.

Crack!

Crack!

Spiderwebs started to form, and Amanda hurriedly jumped away to avoid the attack.

Bang!

The dragon’s breath hit the ground after shattering the barrier, and a small crater formed, which caused Amanda to frown.

’Is his attack power higher than Tier 3?’ Amanda thought, as a Tier 3 attack was impossible to break the barrier.

Clap. Clap.

Victor walked toward Watson and started clapping, as he was very pleased, and said, "I will help you rescue your tribe and target the army."

Hearing this, Watson’s eyes lit up, but he suddenly warned, "Lord Victor, I am grateful, but you should not attack the army. If you alert the Duchy, they might kill the tribe members."

Victor frowned upon hearing this and said, "Looks like I need to infiltrate without getting detected."

"Hmm, anyway, go prepare. I will get ready," Victor said as everyone dispersed.

Spark Duchy

The outer zone was where the most powerless survivors resided. This part of the base was composed of the lowest caste of citizens of the Spark Duchy, whose lives became even worse after the world evolution and the start of the civil war. The lowest members of the social and food pyramid found themselves even more oppressed by the nobles than before. The people who lived here suffered from hunger and had to resort to all kinds of acts to get a glimmer of hope of seeing the next day’s sunrise over the horizon.

On the other hand, the inner zone was where all those with a certain amount of power resided. This part of the base was composed of high-ranking government officials and nobles. In addition to members of the government or soldiers with some leadership and authority among the troops, there were also powerful soldiers and their families.

People living in the inner zone enjoyed the highest possible treatment: they ate the best food, drank the best wine, enjoyed the most beautiful women, and practically had the right to do almost anything as long as it did not affect the interests of another person with power or the base in general, and, most importantly, they did not oppose the Spark family.

If the outer zone was hell, then the inner zone was undoubtedly heaven; a heaven that normal citizens could never access and could only dream about while looking at it from so close, but at the same time, from so far away.

Inside one of the most luxurious villas in the east, the lighting was bright, and from the outside...

In a very spacious and sumptuously decorated dining room, the sound of clanking cooking utensils was the only sound that could be heard.

Six beautiful women dressed in French maid uniforms stood in two rows of three on both sides of the large oak table. The ages of the women varied; there were teenagers, young adults, mature women, and even one who was well past middle age but clearly kept herself in good condition. Except for slight wrinkles at the corners of her eyes, her beauty was still intact.

Petite bodies, curvaceous bodies, voluptuous bodies, innocent faces, cold faces, kind faces, charming faces, etc. All six women had their own styles, but they were all naturally beautiful. They were definitely among the most beautiful in the Duchy. It was precisely for this reason that they managed to work in a place like this despite not having any backup or strength to rely on.

Sitting at the head of the table, a man of about 50 years old moved his hands slowly; sometimes he would take a piece of meat and taste it, other times he would choose some chicken to vary the flavors, and when he felt thirsty, he would take some soda. He seemed worry-free.

The man was not too tall, but he could not be considered small either; he was about 1.73 meters tall. However, his slightly bulging belly and chubby face gave him a rather funny appearance, along with his sparse hair that had practically disappeared completely.

However, no one in the entire base dared to laugh at this man’s appearance... because he was Duke Spark, the ruler of the Spark Duchy.

"Sir, the troops we sent were wiped out," a soldier said cautiously.

"Huh? How is that possible? It shouldn’t be possible for weaklings to kill the Purisin team." Duke Spark picked up a napkin and wiped his face as he looked at the soldier.

"Indeed, but we have doubts that it was the troops of Silvernum Barony. The troops vanished when they entered the Silvernum Territory," the soldier said, and there was an eerie silence, which made even the maids nervous, and then suddenly...

"Hahahaha!"
