Chapter 1078:- One Sided Battle
Chapter 1078:- One Sided Battle
Even with most of his passive skills and the boost from the functions of his fourth classes, he was still not enough against a Peak 7th-order cultivator. At that moment, he understood the terrifying difference between the two sides. He understood the literal meaning of Heaven and Earth.
Aditya looked at Wahid’s broken body lying on the ground.
’Uncle...!!!!’ Seeing Wahid in such a condition, Aditya felt his blood boiling. He felt as if he was losing his sense of reasoning.
Aditya loved his uncle. Since their meeting, Wahid treated him with the utmost gentleness, love, and respect. For the first time in such a long time, Aditya experienced family love. The love that he longed for in his heart.
At the same time, the temperature around him began to rise rapidly. The ground on which he was standing turned red; it was as if magma was about to burst out at any given second.. Then Something inside him snapped.
Crimson lightning exploded from his body.
Booooooooom!!!!!
The sky above Axel City instantly darkened. Violent crimson clouds appeared overhead while countless bolts of crimson lightning began dancing across the heavens.
『Dragon Monarch’s Domain』
The moment the skill was activated, a terrifying pressure descended upon the battlefield. Aditya’s entire body began glowing with a deep crimson light. The temperature around him rapidly increased. The ground beneath his feet started melting while cracks spread across the earth.
Every passive skill that he possessed was pushed to its absolute limit.
His strength.
His speed.
His stamina.
Everything exploded upward. For a brief moment, even Victor narrowed his eyes. He became a little bit cautious.
"So this is your trump card?" Victor muttered. But he wasn’t too surprised. He already had information on this strange Passive skill from the Organisation. No one within the Organisation knew more about Aditya’s abilities than Victor.
His hatred for Aditya ran so deep that he spent the most hours analysing Aditya and preparing himself for that moment when they would come face-to-face in a battle.
Aditya then disappeared.
The next moment, he appeared behind Victor and swung his sword.
Clang!
Victor calmly blocked the attack with one hand.
Before the shockwave of the first attack could spread, Aditya teleported again.
And again.
And again.
Within a single second, dozens of attacks rained down on Victor from every direction.
Using the freedom of movement granted by the Dragon Monarch’s Domain, Aditya continuously teleported around Victor while launching attack after attack. One moment, he appeared behind him and thrust his spear. The next moment, he appeared above him and brought the spear down. Then he appeared on his left side, then his right side, then directly in front of him.
The battlefield was soon covered in flashes of crimson light. The mountain of debris that had formed from Victor’s previous plasma attack continuously exploded apart from the shockwaves of their clashes. Massive chunks of stone were blasted into the sky while countless smaller fragments rained down over the battlefield.
The already ruined streets around the crater suffered even more damage. Buildings that had somehow survived the earlier fighting finally gave way under the pressure. Walls cracked apart. Towers collapsed. Entire sections of nearby structures were blown away by the shockwaves generated from their exchanges.
Meanwhile, the ground beneath Victor’s feet never stopped breaking. Every time Aditya appeared and attacked, another explosion would erupt. Deep cracks spread throughout the battlefield like spider webs. Some were dozens of meters long. Others were so deep that molten rock beneath the surface could briefly be seen before being buried by collapsing earth.
Yet despite all this destruction, Victor remained calm. No matter where Aditya appeared, Victor always seemed capable of reacting in time. It was almost as if he could predict Aditya’s attacks before they even happened.
For the first time since arriving on the Main Continent, Aditya was fighting with power far beyond his normal limits. His speed had reached a level that even many Beginner 7th-order cultivators would struggle to follow. Combined with his teleportation, he should have been impossible to catch.
Yet despite all of this, Aditya still could not gain any meaningful advantage. Victor stood calmly in the middle of the battlefield as if he were not fighting someone whose strength had increased fourfold.
Every attack that Aditya launched was either blocked, avoided, or redirected. Sometimes Victor used his spear to intercept the attack. Sometimes he simply took a small step to the side. Other times, he merely tilted his body a few inches and allowed Aditya’s attack to pass harmlessly beside him.
The more Aditya attacked, the heavier his heart became. The Dragon Monarch’s Domain had pushed every one of his passive skills to their limits. His speed had reached a level that even many Peak 6th-order cultivators would struggle to react to. Combined with his teleportation, he was attacking from every possible angle.
Yet Victor remained unfazed.
At one point, Aditya appeared above Victor and thrust his spear downward. Victor casually shifted half a step to the side, and the spear missed him by mere centimetres. The attack continued downward and struck the ground instead.
Booooooooom!!!!!
The impact blew apart an entire section of the crater beneath them. Massive chunks of earth were launched hundreds of meters into the sky. Before those pieces of debris could even begin falling, Aditya had already teleported behind Victor and launched another attack.
This time, his black sword released a wave of crimson lightning. The attack missed Victor and crashed into a nearby building that had somehow survived the earlier battles. The entire upper half of the building exploded apart. Countless pieces of stone and wood rained down onto the streets below.
The battlefield had completely transformed into a wasteland. Every second, new craters appeared. New explosions erupted. The mountain of debris created by Victor’s plasma attack earlier had long since been reduced to scattered rubble due to the constant shockwaves generated by their battle.
And still, Victor remained standing.
As the seconds passed, Aditya slowly began to realise a terrifying truth.
Even after activating the Dragon Monarch’s Domain and receiving a fourfold increase to all his physical stats, the gap between a Mid 5th-order cultivator and a Peak 7th-order cultivator remained enormous.
Then Victor finally decided to stop defending.
"Now it’s my turn." The moment Victor moved, Aditya instinctively felt danger.
Booooooooom!!!!!
A terrifying shockwave erupted between them as Victor’s fist collided directly with Aditya’s sword.
The sword immediately bent under the overwhelming force. The impact travelled through the weapon, through Aditya’s arms, and into his entire body. It felt as though a mountain had crashed directly into him.
The weapon was ripped out of his grasp and sent spinning through the air. It tore through several ruined buildings before finally disappearing somewhere deep within the city.
Before Aditya could even recover from the shock, Victor was already standing in front of him. The difference in speed was too overwhelming. Aditya could not follow him at all. Never did he meet an opponent with such a terrifying speed.
Aditya only saw a brief flash of light before blood erupted into the sky. When he looked down, he was horrified to notice that his right arm was severed above the elbow.
The detached arm spun through the air while blood sprayed from the wound. The pain had not even reached his brain when Victor launched his next attack.
His kick landed directly against Aditya’s left thigh.
Crack!!!
The force behind the attack was so terrifying that Aditya’s entire leg exploded apart from the upper thigh. Flesh, blood, and shattered fragments of bone scattered across the battlefield.
"Arghhhhhhh!"
For the first time during the battle, Aditya screamed. His body immediately lost balance and began falling from the sky.
But Victor had no intention of giving him a chance to recover. Appearing beneath him almost instantly, Victor drove his fist directly into Aditya’s chest.
Booooooooom!!!!!
This instantly shattered many of his ribs. The force of the punch compressed Aditya’s chest before launching him downward like a cannonball.
His body struck the centre of the crater with enough force to create another massive explosion. The ground collapsed inward. New cracks spread across the battlefield while a huge cloud of dust and debris rose into the sky.
Even after crashing into the ground, Aditya’s body continued ploughing through layers of earth before finally coming to a stop at the bottom of the crater.
High above the battlefield, the crimson lightning filling the sky slowly began weakening. The crimson clouds started fading. The overwhelming pressure that radiated from Aditya started disappearing.
The 15 seconds of Dragon Monarch Domain had deactivated. Now, he will only be able to use this skill again after 24 hours.
From a distance, with an injured body, Wahid somehow stood up with his red butcher knife. His whole body was trembling. He could barely keep standing, but at this moment, he did not care.
When he noticed that Victor was about to kill his dear nephew, he couldn’t care less if his body was falling apart.
