Chapter 1077:- Power Difference

Chapter 1077:- Power Difference

Victor’s chest suddenly began glowing with an intense white light. The brightness rapidly increased with each passing moment, illuminating the battlefield around him. Seeing this, both Aditya and Wahid immediately became cautious. Neither of them dared to underestimate a Peak 7th-order cultivator. Aditya knew one thing for certain against opponents of this level: the moment an attack was released, it was often already too late to react. Their attack speed was simply too terrifying.

Without hesitation, Aditya grabbed Wahid’s wrist. At the same time, the glowing energy inside Victor’s chest rapidly travelled upward through his body toward his throat. The white light became more concentrated and violent as it gathered inside his mouth. Victor then opened his mouth, and a terrifying beam of condensed white plasma erupted forward. The attack looked like a pillar of pure destructive energy, so bright that it momentarily outshone everything around it. Wherever the beam passed, the surrounding air was violently distorted from the extreme heat and energy. The beam itself was so concentrated that it appeared almost solid, leaving behind a glowing trail of white light in its wake.

However, Aditya had already expected something like this.

The moment he saw Victor’s chest begin glowing, he immediately activated his teleportation. By the time the plasma beam was fired, both he and Wahid had already disappeared from their original location. In fact, Aditya never even saw the attack itself. He only saw the initial glow inside Victor’s chest and instantly acted. Against a Peak 7th-order cultivator, waiting to see the attack before reacting was no different from committing suicide.

Even after teleporting once, Aditya still did not feel safe. Every instinct in his body screamed that a single teleportation was not enough against an opponent like Victor. Without hesitation, he activated his spatial ability a second time and instantly appeared more than a hundred meters above Victor’s head while pulling Wahid along with him.

Booooooooom!!!!!

A deafening explosion shook the battlefield.

The moment Aditya looked down, all he saw was destruction. The plasma beam had struck the ground and detonated with terrifying force, creating a crater even larger than the one in which they had originally been fighting. The earth split apart as a massive shockwave spread in all directions. Buildings near the impact point were instantly erased. Stone walls, roads, and entire structures disappeared beneath the overwhelming blast. Chunks of debris were launched high into the sky while dust and flames rose like a giant mushroom cloud above the city.

Although the attack had missed its intended targets, it had not missed the city.

A large section of the surrounding area had been completely wiped out by the explosion. Looking at the devastation below, Aditya felt a chill run down his spine. If he had hesitated for even a fraction of a second, both he and Wahid would have been caught in that attack.

"That was close!" Even Wahid could not hide the seriousness in his voice. As a mid-7th-order cultivator, he was fully aware of how dangerous that attack had been. Forget counterattacking, he did not even have the confidence to dodge such an attack at that range by himself. Had Aditya not reacted instantly, the battle might have ended right there.

Hearing the deafening explosion and witnessing an entire section of the city near the previous crater vanish in an instant, everyone immediately understood how dangerous the battle on Aditya and Wahid’s side had become. The sheer scale of the destruction was enough to make anyone want to rush over and provide support.

However, reality was far harsher.

The enemies standing before them were powerful in their own right. Every single battlefield had become a fierce life-and-death struggle. It was nothing more than wishful thinking to believe they could quickly defeat their opponents within a few seconds and then go assist Aditya and Wahid.

In fact, doing so would likely get them killed.

Each of them was already being pushed to focus completely on the battle in front of them. Their opponents were not weak enough to allow even the slightest distraction. Against cultivators of this level, losing concentration for a single second could prove fatal.

One mistake.

One moment of hesitation.

One glance in the wrong direction.

That was all it would take for their enemies to land a decisive blow and end the battle. Because of this, despite their worries about Aditya and Wahid, they had no choice but to trust them and continue fighting the enemies standing before them.

"Uncle Wahid, I want to try a new move that I recently learned. But for that, I will need you to buy me some time."

Wahid did not ask any questions. He simply nodded his head and immediately rushed forward. He trusted Aditya enough to know that if he was asking for time, then whatever he was preparing was not something ordinary.

Meanwhile, Aditya raised his left hand and extended his index finger.

A small crimson flame sphere appeared above the tip of his finger.

At first, it looked harmless.

But the temperature of the flame rapidly began rising.

The crimson flame became brighter and brighter as Aditya continuously poured mana into it. Normally, adding more mana would make the flame grow larger. But this time, Aditya did the exact opposite.

Using his gravity manipulation, he began compressing the crimson flame. The sphere violently trembled.

The flame wanted to expand. The gravity wanted to compress. The two opposing forces continuously fought against each other.

But slowly, the Crimson Sphere shrank from the size of a fist. To the size of a marble. Then even smaller.

Aditya’s forehead quickly became covered in sweat. He had to maintain absolute concentration. Even the slightest mistake could cause the whole thing to explode in his face.

At the same time, Wahid appeared before Victor. Without holding back, he pushed both palms forward.

"Twin Dragon!"

Two enormous energy dragons burst out of his palms.

Unlike traditional dragons, these creatures had long serpentine bodies without wings. The two dragons spiralled around each other while charging forward at terrifying speed. Their roars shook the surrounding air as they rushed toward Victor.

But Victor did not even bother looking at the attack. To him, Wahid was merely a distraction. His eyes remained fixed on Aditya.

The next second, Victor disappeared.

The two dragons crashed into the place where he had been standing moments ago, creating a massive explosion.

But Victor was already elsewhere.

He appeared directly in front of Aditya. The moment Victor saw the small crimson sphere resting on the tip of Aditya’s finger, he instinctively felt danger. And he immediately decided not to give Aditya another second.

Slash!

A flash of white light appeared in Aditya’s view.

Then, Aditya only felt a sharp pain.

When he looked down, his entire left arm was severed cleanly from the shoulder. Blood sprayed through the air.

The compressed crimson sphere instantly lost its stability and disappeared before it could fully take shape.

Before Aditya could even react, Victor’s fist smashed directly into his chest.

Boooooom!!!

A terrifying shockwave erupted from the impact of the punch. Aditya’s body was launched like a cannonball. He flew across the battlefield at incredible speed before crashing into the massive crater below.

The ground exploded apart upon impact. Countless cracks spread through the crater while dust and debris shot into the sky.

Victor slowly lowered his fist with an indifferent look. He had deliberately held back. If he truly wanted Aditya dead, that punch would have blown apart half of his body. Victor had no intention of killing him so easily.

Death was mercy. And mercy was the last thing Victor intended to give Aditya

"Next, it’s your turn."

The moment those words left Victor’s mouth, he disappeared. The word Disappear was not the right word. His speed was simply so terrifying that even Wahid felt as if Victor had teleported directly in front of him.

Wahid’s pupils contracted. Before he could even react, Victor’s fist was already inches away from his face.

Booooooooom!!!

The first punch landed directly on his jaw. The impact twisted Wahid’s neck and sent blood flying from his mouth. Before his body could even move backwards, Victor’s second strike had already arrived.

Victor continued with a brutal punch that crashed into his ribs.

Crack!

Several ribs instantly shattered from the punch. The third strike landed on his stomach. Wahid felt all the air leave his lungs as his internal organs violently shook.

The fourth attack was a knee to the chest.

Boooooom!!!

The impact caved in part of his armour inward. The fifth strike came from below. Victor’s uppercut smashed into Wahid’s chin and launched him slightly into the air. But Victor never allowed him to escape.

He grabbed Wahid’s shoulder and pulled him back.

The sixth strike came.

The sixth punch directly into the liver.

The seventh came.

A kick to the side of the knee.

Crack!!!

The sound of bone breaking echoed throughout the battlefield. The eighth attack landed directly on his chest. The ninth landed on his stomach once again. Every strike carried overwhelming power. Victor was deliberately targeting different parts of his body.

He was destroying, breaking, crushing Wahid before Aditya’s eyes. Yet Victor carefully avoided any fatal blow. Wahid could not even counterattack or defend himself. The difference in speed was simply too large. To outsiders, the entire exchange lasted less than a second. But to cultivators of their level, it felt much longer. Each strike arrived with ruthless precision. Each strike carried enough force to kill an ordinary 6th-order cultivator.

And then came the final attack. The tenth strike. Victor twisted his waist and unleashed a devastating roundhouse kick directly into Wahid’s side.

Booooooooooooom!!!!!

The moment the kick landed, a visible shockwave exploded outward. Wahid’s body bent unnaturally from the force. Blood sprayed from his mouth. Then he was sent flying like a cannonball.

His body tore through the air at terrifying speed before crashing into the side of a ruined building. The building exploded apart on impact. But his momentum did not stop. He continued flying through multiple structures before finally crashing deep into the ground.

Booooooooom!!!!

A massive cloud of dust rose into the sky. For several seconds, nobody could even see him. Compared to Aditya’s, Wahid’s injuries were far more serious. Several bones of Wahid had been shattered. His internal organs had suffered severe damage. His entire body felt as if it had been run over by a mountain.

Victor slowly lowered his leg and looked toward the crater.

Just like with Aditya, he had held back. Otherwise, Wahid would already be dead.
