Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1749: Rosaline’s Curiosity!

Chapter 1749: Rosaline’s Curiosity!

Rosaline slowly turned toward him.

Her eyes narrowed slightly, and the thoughtful look on her face became sharper.

"Who is it?"

The young man hesitated for only a moment before answering in a solemn voice, "It is Max Morgan."

The moment that name was spoken, Rosaline’s gaze changed.

"The recently popular kid who took away the Sword of the Sword Sovereign," the young man added. "He was the one who passed through here with a silver-haired elf woman, and he was also the one these Sword God Palace disciples tried to stop."

"Oh," Rosaline murmured, surprise flashing through her eyes. "It was him."

She had indeed heard of Max Morgan.

Max had been a bit too popular in the Divine Realm the past few months since he had taken away the sword of the Sword Sovereign and because of this, almost every individual had heard of him in one way or another.

Rosaline was no exception.

But now, looking at the empty sky where more than a hundred Sword God Palace disciples had been cut down in one slash, Rosaline realized that Max Morgan might not be as simple as the rumors made him seem.

"Interesting," she muttered, and a faint smile appeared on her lips as deep thought filled her eyes. "So the one who left behind this sword aura was Max Morgan."

She looked again at the fading trace in the air.

The eerie sharpness of the sword aura still lingered faintly, and even though it was almost gone, Rosaline could feel how terrifyingly clean that slash had been. It did not resemble the clumsy swing of someone relying only on a powerful weapon. It had carried concept, path, and terrifying control.

Still, the Sword of the Sword Sovereign was not an ordinary sword.

A sword of that level could raise the threat of its wielder far beyond their normal strength.

Rosaline’s smile became more curious.

"Is he truly that strong," she murmured softly, "or is it all because of that sword?"

The young man lowered his head even further, his expression filled with regret.

"Forgive me, Princess," he said with a sigh. "I did not think Max would be this strong. Otherwise, I would have informed you beforehand and stopped those fools more forcefully."

Rosaline glanced at him, then shook her head lightly.

"It is not your fault."

The young man looked up slightly.

Rosaline’s smile remained calm, but the interest in her eyes had grown much clearer. "Those disciples acted out of greed and arrogance. Even after being warned, they still chose to provoke someone they did not understand. If they died because of that, then it was the consequence of their own stupidity."

The young man was silent for a moment before nodding. "Yes, Princess."

Rosaline turned her gaze toward the direction where Max and Nancy had disappeared.

"They are heading toward Witch God Valley, correct?"

"Yes," the young man replied. "From the direction they took, there is almost no doubt. They should be moving toward the valley."

Rosaline’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Witch God Valley.

"And since we know where they are headed," Rosaline said with a faint smile, "there is definitely a chance for us to intercept him."

The young man’s expression changed slightly. "Princess, do you intend to personally meet him?"

Rosaline did not answer immediately.

She slowly raised her hand again and touched the last remnant of sword aura in the air. The moment her fingers passed through it, a faint chill crossed her skin, and the smile on her face deepened.

"If this sword aura came only from the Sword of the Sword Sovereign, then the sword is even more terrifying than we imagined," she said softly. "But if it came from Max himself, then he is far more dangerous than the rumors suggest."

The young man’s eyes became serious.

Rosaline lowered her hand.

"Either way," she continued, "he is worth meeting."

She turned toward the guards behind her.

"Prepare to move. We will head toward Witch God Valley."

The guards immediately lowered their heads.

"Yes, Princess."

Rosaline looked one last time at the empty sky where the Sword God Palace disciples had been cut down, and her expression became thoughtful again.

"Max Morgan," she said softly, as if testing the name on her tongue. "A human who took the Sword of the Sword Sovereign, offended the Sword God Palace, and left behind a sword aura terrifying enough to make me think of Damian."

Her eyes flashed with interest.

"Let us see what kind of person you really are."

——

Max and Nancy continued flying at full speed after leaving the neutral city behind, and for the next hour, neither of them wasted time speaking unnecessarily. The farther they moved into the depths of the Eternal Hourglass, the stranger the world around them became.

The golden sands beneath them gradually lost their warm color and turned dull and gray, while the air grew colder, heavier, and filled with faint whispers that seemed to come from nowhere.

Broken ruins appeared from time to time beneath the shifting sand, some half-buried, some floating in the air without support, and some surrounded by strange distortions where time seemed to flow slower than the rest of the world.

Even Max, with his confidence and strength, could feel that this region was no longer as simple as the areas near Starfall Haven.

Nancy flew slightly ahead of him, her silver hair fluttering behind her like a streak of moonlight, and her expression remained serious as she checked their direction again and again. She clearly knew that the path to Witch God Valley was not ordinary, and although they had not encountered any major enemies during the past hour, she did not relax even once.

Max noticed this, but he did not ask anything. His mind was focused on Caroline. The thought that his mother’s younger sister might be trapped somewhere ahead, hunted by Seraphine, Fin, and the second faction’s geniuses, made his eyes colder with every passing moment.

Then, after crossing a vast region of dead sand and shattered stone, Max suddenly slowed down.

Ahead of them, a shadow rose from the earth.

At first, it looked like a distant mountain standing beneath the clouds, but as they drew closer, Max realized that it was not a mountain at all.

It was a tree.

A huge tree.

No.

Calling it huge was almost an insult to its size.
