Riven felt the faint traces of spiritual energy still coursing weakly through his veins. Compared to his other stats, Spirit remained very low, yet he knew it could continue growing as long as he consumed Spiritual Beasts or actual Spirits themselves.

Still, those creatures ranked among the rarest and strongest kinds of monsters out there. He could still clearly recall a couple of Gates that contained Spirit Monsters. The most notorious was "The World Tree’s Forest," a place filled almost exclusively with Spirit Beasts instead of ordinary monsters, along with zealous and murderous elven guardians.

It was an SSS Rank Gate currently visited only by the top elite hunters of the world, and rumors claimed it had never been fully conquered. Even some L Rank hunters who supposedly entered it refused to speak about what they encountered beyond the entrance.

Indeed, hundreds of different Gates existed across the world. Many of them held their own unique and incredible flora and fauna, alongside the traces or even the surviving remnants of ancient civilizations and destroyed worlds. Those remnants now remained eternally bound to the Gate Core, their last World Fragment, serving as the "monsters" of that dungeon.

It was the same with the Giants. All of them had been turned into Undead that endlessly roamed the Labyrinth’s hollowed halls. Without their king, however, Riven had become their new ruler. He had considered the idea of "freeing them," but there seemed to be no such option available.

To these unfortunate souls there was no eternal rest. For the time being they would remain as mindless monsters wandering the halls of the third floor. Although he felt a quiet sense of pity for them, he still did not waste their existence and continued using them as experience to help Label grow stronger.

He clenched his teeth in frustration as he felt the spirit’s energy suddenly escape from his hands once more.

"Not enough," he thought while looking back at Label. She had begun packing her remaining belongings into her new storage bracelet with careful, focused movements.

He made sure to clean the entire area of any evidence, using his aura to devour even the last traces of blood left behind until nothing remained at all.

As for the rest of the Yakuza, he planned to cordially invite them into his Gate so he could finish everything properly and permanently.

"I think I’m done packing, but... this house is what my dad built," Label sighed softly. "I cannot store everything inside the bracelet..."

"That’s fine," Riven nodded with understanding. "I’ve already separated a safe area inside the dungeon where monsters will never go, using my Authority. Let me bring your entire house there."

"Eh?"

Label’s purple eyes widened in surprise as Riven summoned a dimensional portal and freely controlled its powerful gravitational force. With a single strong siphoning pull the entire house was drawn inside.

Inside the Gate the house landed neatly on the flat black stone surface of the third floor, right within the boss’s castle. Monsters never entered that protected zone, and it sat close to the Gate’s Core.

"There," Riven said calmly.

"Nice!" Label replied with genuine happiness. "I could grow my own dark plants in there, and mushrooms too! Can I live there once this is all over?"

"...You want to live in such a dark place, completely disconnected from the rest of the world?" Riven raised an eyebrow with clear concern.

"Yes!!!" Label nodded enthusiastically. "It would be like a dream come true!"

"..."

Riven sighed quietly. This girl... despite how much she had grown, was still largely the same. She truly hated socializing and preferred the idea of living inside a quiet hole in the ground far from other people.

"I cannot let you live there forever though. You’ll still have to stay at my house as well," he said firmly. "You can switch between the two places and use your old house as a studio. But..." He knew she needed to properly socialize if she ever wanted to get over her deepest fears. "You’ll have to socialize more from now on..."

"Eugh..." She looked sad again, her shoulders drooping. "But... Ugh... O-okay... as long as Riven’s family is nice..."

Riven nodded and patted her shoulders in a reassuring manner. "They are very good people. You’ll see."

Label nodded slowly and looked up at the bright sun still hanging in the sky. "Ah, we’re still in the middle of the day... Um, what do we do now?"

"You know where the Yakuza hide, right?" Riven asked. "Do they have any other branching areas?"

Label fell silent for a full minute as she began to think carefully. Riven already knew a great deal about their organization, but he still wanted to ask her. It would refresh his own memory and, more importantly, help make talking and interacting a regular habit for her so she could slowly overcome her social anxiety.

"Yes, there’s three places..." she finally said. "Their main hideout is hidden under a large Sushi and Ramen Restaurant... The other two are inside abandoned factories where they keep other alchemists... producing drugs for them."

"Are these alchemists being... held captive?" Riven asked. He had not known that detail before.

Label nodded weakly, her expression darkening.

"..." Riven looked into the distance with a serious expression. "It will be complicated. Whichever place we choose to target first, the other two will be alerted sooner or later. Then they might try to escape before we can reach them."

"The best option is taking down their boss quickly," Label said with quiet determination. "I’ve prepared some strong explosive potions, Riven. If we drop them inside their hideout... T-Then... kaboom! Heheh..."

"?!" Riven was genuinely shocked. Label clearly possessed a very dark side beneath her quiet exterior. "I... I see. Well, that’s also a possibility. Why not? The thing is, it’s better if... Oh yeah, I could do that instead."

"Huh?" She tilted her head curiously.

"I’ll just use the Gate to siphon the entire factory inside of my dungeon," Riven smiled coldly. "Twice."

"?!" Label gasped in pure surprise. "T-That’s a thing you can actually do?!"
