Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox
Chapter 906 – Plough
Moon Aiko lured over two Muscle Foxes, to balance the plough that she had crafted.
It was kind of like a blade, but with a flat bottom surface. What she hoped would happen is that the bottom flat surface would scoop up the sand, with the rocks, but she would have to probably do some iterations to hammer out the problems that this thing might have.
Needless to say, it was a lot of work, but not something she didn't want to do...
-----
"I found the travelling merchant!" Yuxi came running over to the group.
"Travelling merchant?" Mei tilted her head. Could that be the same merchant that sold her those 'painkillers'. They were quite effective, albeit addictive.
"Yeah." Yuxi nodded her head.
"Travelling merchant?" Li Xiu tilted her head.
"I do not believe it's time for you to shop. Have you finished everything." Ah Cy suddenly appeared behind Li Xiu, grabbing her shoulder.
"T-that-" Li Xiu stuttered like a broken record, it was plain obvious that she didn't do anything.
"Then we shall go." Ah Cy glanced towards Bai Jing, as if trying to signal something.
Bai Jing wordlessly followed as if it was the most natural thing.
While the group was puzzled, they had no time to think about it. The travelling merchant came and went. He wouldn't stay for too long, so they should finish their shopping spree as soon as possible!
-----
Moon Aiko was sitting on the plough, watching it go. While it was not perfect, it did its job pretty well and the Muscle Foxes didn't complain all that much, other than about the grip and pressure on their shoulders as the plough dug into their shoulders.
However, Moon Aiko already remedied that with some skin and adjustments to make the shoulder part bigger, to spread out the load.
With that out of the way, Moon Aiko would be able to finish fishing most of the rocks out of the sand, and they could play later in this place.
The Human Cultivators were also helping around, while not too enthusiastic, they still competed with each other about who would remove more rocks.
The techniques... were flashy, but without much substance, making Moon Aiko wonder what those Human Elders were teaching them.
No, maybe it was not about teaching, but about what they were compatible with, since there were elements and other things at play.
"I wonder how strong they are..." Moon Aiko murmured.
"I wouldn't try that, Jade Fox." The Muscle Foxes would usually drop the 'Vicious' part of her nickname when the other Jade Fox was not around.
They found it a bit unfortunate that her nickname turned out like that, since she was dead-drop gorgeous, but with a small nasty streak due to the previous management of the Fox Village.
"Why not?" Moon Aiko tilted her head.
"There could be conflict, since they are weak. It would be like swatting a fly for you." The other Muscle Fox shook his head.
"Oh..." Moon Aiko forgot that she was not powerful and would have to go against the Elders.
"No, wait, that's not right." Moon Aiko paused. "Aren't Human Cultivators supposed to be powerful?"
"The Inscription Saint already set up an Array in this place, so no other Array can be used here. That only leaves their 'powders' for attack, otherwise Beasts would easily eat them alive." The Muscle Fox explained.
Pretty much everyone who ever heard about Human Cultivators knew about this, but they also knew that the Jade Fox didn't really mingle with other Foxes.
Sure, she did something great for the Foxes that were badly hurt by the old management, but other than that, and even before that, not many Foxes knew about her.
If it was not for her gorgeous body, probably no one would be able to remember her...

"Oh." Moon Aiko didn't expect that. She didn't feel any fluctuation of Qi, but still, she didn't use her 'other' eyes, so maybe that was why.
"That means half of their means of beating Beasts are now sealed." The other Muscle Fox shrugged. The Human Cultivators were not a threat. Sure, there were a few Foxes that were weak, but they were usually accompanied by other powerful Foxes, so there was no need to worry about them.
And even if they were not strong, most Foxes mingled in groups, meaning alerting other Foxes about being attacked was not out of question.
And what would follow would be a pure slaughter for anyone who would try to hurt Foxes.
"At least they are trying." Moon Aiko nodded her head, noticing that many spiteful eyes were looking at her.
"What is it? Did we say anything wrong? Why didn't you cultivate more?" Moon Aiko fired those questions and many of the Human Cultivators almost coughed up blood, while others straight up skipped it and fainted on the spot.
Did they faint because she was gorgeous or because she insulted their hard work? It was hard to say, but now the Human Cultivators had to deal with those bodies.
Moon Aiko wanted to speed up the Muscle Foxes, but whipping them felt wrong.
"I have a special healing Pill from M- Jade Fox. It should not only heal your injuries, but also revitalise your body." Moon Aiko waved the Pill around, but what happened next she didn't expect.
Their muscles flexed, expanding as they prepared for the mad dash.
However, Moon Aiko didn't understand what was happening to them, until it happened.
*Boom*
The Muscle Foxes sped up so much that the air behind the plough cracked.
The sand was now blasted high up in the sky. It both rained sand and rocks around.
The sand formed a tsunami. However, it was as if everyone, but the Human Cultivators, expected this.
Every Fox pulled out a paper umbrella as they kept working without stopping, preventing the sand from burying them alive.
Moon Aiko's face was blasted with air and sand, making her put a protective barrier in front of her to prevent further damage.
She was shocked why this worked so much, but then again, even her Massage Chairs were a big hit.
"And I will add one day of free Massage Chair." Moon Aiko added that. She wanted to know just how fast they could go.
*Crack*
The Muscle Foxes paused momentarily, no, the time slowed down.
The Muscle Foxes slowly turned around, looking at the Jade Fox, making sure she was not joking. Once they verified that, a strange glint surfaced on their eyes as their legs flexed even further.
If before there was a kicking of sand and sonic boom, then the next one would be a pure sand apocalypse.
The Muscle Foxes sped up much more than before, so much so that Moon Aiko had a hard time staying on the plough and protecting her body from the now violent sand.
They went at it so hard and so much that they actually reduced the level of the sand!
-----
Mei went back to her chair in the shade, only to find it buried below sand.
"What happened?" Mei looked around speechlessly.
"Aiko happened." Dai Lu was one of the few who didn't go over to the travelling merchant. She never understood the appeal of those, so she stayed behind to enjoy the beach.
However, she couldn't enjoy it for long as Aiko happened.
"What does that supposed to mean?" Mei shook her head speechlessly. It was so ridiculous that anytime something strange happened it would be 'Aiko happened'.
"..." Dai Lu shook her head. "Here is what happened..."
...
Mei stared speechlessly at Aiko who was being dragged around by feral Muscle Foxes.
However, the situation was even worse than she expected as other Foxes were now trying to mimic her and they were even enjoying themselves!
What will happen to this island if this continues? This is simply a 'natural' disaster!
"STOP!" Mei shouted, empowering her voice with Qi.
Everyone abruptly stopped, even the Muscle Foxes.
That sharp stop made Moon Aiko fly over the plough, fly over the sand and then tackle the Southern Grandmaster.
"Ugh..." Moon Aiko groaned. "Good save." She gave Mei thumbs up, but she walked over, pulling her cheeks.
"Owowowow." Moon Aiko complained, but Mei kept pulling.
"Why do you always do something so ridiculous? The whole island is lower by a level!" Mei complained. Her nice holiday was now obliterated by sand!
"But the sand is now nice and smooth?" Moon Aiko defended herself.
The Human Cultivators looked at her speechlessly. She was the most shameless Fox that they ever encountered!
*Thud*
One Human Cultivator was hit by falling rock, the same rock that was sent high up in the sky by Aiko's plough.
"Except that one." Moon Aiko pursed her lips.
*Thud Thud*
"And those two." Moon Aiko's impenetrably passive face was the most punchable thing that Mei ever encountered.
"Why can't you do it the normal way?" Mei questioned Aiko, completely ignoring the falling rocks.
"Because it would be too slow, I want to enjoy the beach." Moon Aiko complained with a straight face. No, wait, that was just Mei smushing her face.
"Seriously, can't you wait for one day?" Mei sighed, complaining.
"I can, but they can't." Moon Aiko pointed at the sea, but looking closely, she was actually pointing at the Northern Sect who now had 3 additional ships close to the sea.
"When did that happen?" Mei was surprised that they had more flying ships and these seemed much better than the previous ones!
"Probably during the time I started?" Moon Aiko noticed it a bit later, but she assumed that it started just when she offered them the Pill.
"Are they coming over?" Danji looked towards them, trying to measure the distance.
"Probably not." Mei shook her head.
"But we did take one of their ships down." Moon Aiko suddenly mentioned that 'event'.
*Choke*
Dai Lu didn't expect that, no there was not even a hint that Aiko would actually say it!
"Oh, right." As if realising something, Mei smiled, turning towards Dai Lu.
*Hiccup*
Reading her mind, Dai Lu hiccup from the amount of work she would have to do.
"I-I can't possibly take on multiple Elders, right?!" Dai Lu wanted to avoid any more confrontation if she could help it, but Mei didn't seem like she would let her off.
"Oh, I still have the swimsuits." Moon Aiko realised that Mei still didn't wear one.
"Ahem, I will naturally follow you." Mei coughed awkwardly.
"I also have a spare for our Grandmaster." Moon Aiko smiled.
"Ahem, it appears I should take some responsibility for my blunder." Dai Lu and Mei went hand in hand and smoothly left the scene together before Aiko could do anything...
