Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

Chapter 907 – Talks with the Grandmaster

"They just left..." Moon Aiko stared at them unhappily.

"Well, they do have their responsibilities." The Grandmaster spoke below the Vicious Jade Fox. Honestly, it was not too bad to be like this.

"Ah, sorry." Moon Aiko hurriedly stood up. "But responsibilities, huh? It feels like they are running away."

Shrugging gently, she turned towards the Grandmaster, wondering what he was doing here.

"Well, that's usually how it feels like." That was the limit of convincing her that Dai Lu was not running away, the rest would have to be done by her...

"Anyway." The Grandmaster coughed. "I was wondering if we could get a few Massage Chairs sessions like our Elder, Ah Cy, did."

"It already spread, huh?" Moon Aiko mulled over it with a sour face.

"You can't say 'it already spread' when you have caused her to become even more beautiful. Not to mention she was able to breakthrough in the Lower Plane, which is unheard of. The best you can do is the Nascent Soul. Anything after that is impossible." The Grandmaster shook his head.

"That big of a deal, huh?" Moon Aiko shrugged. So what if she got a special treatment? She is friendly and Li Xiu is her Disciple or neighbour, so she had to butter her up.

"I feel like someone was badmouthing me." Ah Cy popped out of nowhere. Her body, now less intimidating, pleased Moon Aiko greatly.

"Nobody is badmouthing you, and what is up with your speed of coming over? Don't you have your Disciples to manage?" The Grandmaster rolled his eyes.

"My, someone is being dismissive, do you miss the Fox's Grandmaster that much?" Ah Cy teased him, since he was being cute and witty.

"..." The Grandmaster chose silence, everyone knew that it was impossible to win an argument against a woman, so it was better to not engage with them.

"Gosh... that's some attitude." Ah Cy pouted, before turning towards this Fox. "But gosh." She placed her hand on her face in an exaggerated manner. "What will I do with you?"

"There is a bed, if we have a disagreement, let's fight it out." Moon Aiko would not be the one doing the fighting since she had Witch Aiko, but this way nobody would get injured and everyone would be happy.

"..." Ah Cy completely forgot who was against her, so she was momentarily stunned.

"My..." The Grandmaster smirked at Ah Cy. He then nudged the Fox. "If I had my Cloud Wine, I would give you some for this. It's a sight to behold." Nobody was able to silence her as thoroughly as this Fox!

"You can still get some later." Moon Aiko shrugged.

"Depending." The Grandmaster chuckled. "But sure."

"Hold on, I'm not finished, so stop dancing over my grave." Ah Cy clicked her tongue at her Grandmaster.

"Speaking of which. My Disciple seems to like you a lot, so how about Alliance Marriage?" Ah Cy suggested, since her Disciple would have it rough without it, especially with the Jade Fox around.

But there was also the Passion Fox, and the strange twins...

Not to mention the Dice Girl was trying to avoid Aiko, meaning that there was something going on as well.

"How about taking Bai Jing too?" Ah Cy suggested.

"Elder." Bai Jing popped out of nowhere.

"Ah, Bai Jing, come, come. We are just having a discussion about marriage-" Bai Jing without any shame grabbed the sleeve of Ah Cy and dragged her away wordlessly.

"..." Moon Aiko raised her eyebrow while the Grandmaster ignored this.

"So, who is the Elder actually?" Moon Aiko turned towards the Grandmaster trying to press him for answers.

"Ah Cy, obviously." The Grandmaster coughed, he didn't expect to be caught in the crossfire.

"But why does Ah Cy feel like a troublemaker while Bai Jing as the disciplining Elder?" Moon Aiko would get to the bottom of this!

If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

"W-well..." The Grandmaster tried avoiding answering it, even tried running away as Dai Lu did, but the Vicious Jade Fox was already wrapped around his sleeve, staring at him closely.

'What are you, a snake?!' The Grandmaster sighed. He never imagined that the Vicious Jade Fox would actually do something this shameless.

"It's because of her Divination. She follows it too religiously and this is the outcome." The Grandmaster spilled the beans since he wouldn't be able to get out of this situation otherwise. And, if the Jade Fox saw them like this, he might be in a world of trouble.

"Ah, she does do that, doesn't she?" Moon Aiko remembered the girl who was constantly rolling that dice.

Moon Aiko let go of him. "But she never really suffered." She nodded her head, but then thought. 'Except that one time.' When she was hanging off a tree, tied up.

"Is she into bondage?" Moon Aiko suddenly asked, maybe she was misunderstanding things.

"What?" The Grandmaster was confused.

"Nothing." Moon Aiko pursed her lips. She completely forgot that she was the one who tied her up, but it was not her fault, right? Wait, was she even the one who tied them up? Surely not!

Moon Aiko mulled over it.

The Grandmaster was overjoyed that he dodged the question so skilfully.

"Hmmm, something is missing..." Moon Aiko mulled over it one more time before she saw the sea.

"Ah, that's what was missing." Moon Aiko bumped her fist into her palm as if saying, 'right, right'.

In the distance, on the sea, she could see someone sprinting on water.

"Wait, hold on. She is sprinting?" Moon Aiko's lips twitched. Alright, she didn't expect that one.

Nero, the lone wolf was sprinting on the sea, trying to get to this island.

"Is that your friend?" The Grandmaster assumed that was the case, since crazy people tend to stick together.

Moon Aiko looked at him, it felt like he was making a jab at her, but she couldn't figure out how.

"Yes, we met in the Nightmare Forest." Moon Aiko nodded her head. With her arrival, the Foxes should settle down.

"So she is crazy." The Grandmaster murmured.

"What?" Moon Aiko looked at him.

"Nothing, just talking to myself." The Grandmaster coughed, it would be bad if he insulted any of them, but especially the friend of the Vicious Jade Fox.

There was a reason she had that nickname...

...

Moon Aiko observed as Nero stepped onto the dry land, completely wet.

She shook her body and then tail to get rid of the water while standing proudly like she achieved something incredible.

The surrounding Foxes clapped, Moon Aiko nodded at her, but then Nero spotted something interesting.

She was very interested in the plough, as the Muscle Foxes dragged it behind them. No, to start with, that was the thing that attracted her to this place, the dune of sand high up in the sky, being kicked up by something.

Nero mingled with the Foxes who swarmed her. It was quite a cute sight since Nero was all flustered and shy.

Previously, she was trying to hide around and observe the Foxes, but this time she was so proud that she made a blunder.

Now that she was swarmed, there was no escape. She kept stuttering and fumbling around for a while.

"Nero wants to try this." Nero suddenly said that as she caught one of the Muscle Foxes pulling the plough behind him.

"Sure." The Muscle Fox admired the muscles Nero had before giving her the plough. A small workout wouldn't hurt her, right?

However, he was wrong... She would not be the one getting hurt...

Nero strained her muscles in similar fashion as the Muscle Foxes before a booming sound reverberated behind her.

That's right, it was that familiar sand tsunami!

The Foxes were startled and hurried with their paper umbrellas to keep the sand away from their delicate tails. However, Nero was a lot stronger than the Muscle Foxes, so the amount of sand she scooped up was that much greater.

When it came to speed, she was not that good, but when it came to strength, oh boy should you watch out...

"Awooooooo~" Nero howled happily as she dragged the plough behind her.

"Gosh, and everyone calls me crazy." Moon Aiko murmured.

'No, you are crazy...' The Grandmaster had to do his best not to say that. It would be concerning what would happen next if he did.

"But she is having fun, isn't that why you went to this island?" The Grandmaster raised his eyebrow.

"Well, yes, but no. That plough was supposed to only get rid of the rocks, especially the sharp ones so that nothing could ruin the atmosphere." Moon Aiko explained while shaking her head.

'How did we get from enjoying the beach to quarrying an island...?' The Grandmaster couldn't follow the thought process of the Foxes, no, maybe this Fox was just built differently, but then...

'There is a tall tower, over there is a fortress... what else is there?' The Grandmaster's lips twitched when he saw how many crazy and unrestrained Foxes this new Fox Village had.

"I see..." The Grandmaster pursed his lips. Better to agree right now to not stir up trouble.

"I feel like you are thinking about something rude." Moon Aiko narrowed her eyes.

"How could that be? I'm as innocent as one can get!" The Grandmaster swore solemnly.

"Sure, sure. How are you enjoying Dai Lu?" Moon Aiko immediately teased him, since she felt like she was on the receiving end.

*choke*

The Grandmaster didn't expect this sneak attack. "W-w-well..." He stuttered like crazy, blushing red from his own thoughts.

"..." Moon Aiko observed him for a bit, but she never expected that Human Cultivators could turn so red they would look like a delicious tomato.

"Why didn't you leave with her?" Moon Aiko couldn't understand that. If he liked her why not chase her.

"Because someone had to keep you company and prevent you from doing anything crazy-" The Grandmaster, out of his embarrassment, blurted out his thoughts. "Ah..." He realised what he did and just stared blankly. His fate was imminent.

"So that's what was happening." Moon Aiko nodded her head. No wonder he didn't chase Dai Lu around or offer her more wine, he was trying to keep her from going around!

"..." The Grandmaster's mouth made an 'x'. He was now concerned about what would happen next...

"Just go chase that tail." Moon Aiko shooed him. It would be better if he went to Dai Lu, as the Southern Sect's Grandmaster, he would be able to pressure the Northern Sect in his presence.

"Y-yes." The Grandmaster didn't even question her intentions and immediately ran off. He was just glad there was no retaliation from the Vicious Jade Fox, as her nickname implied...
