Creepy Pharmacist: All my patients are scary!
Chapter 863: Oh No!
But Lynn really hadn’t done anything too awful to the two little girls. A little teasing wouldn’t provoke too strong a reaction. If he got too eager, though, he might wake Zuo Zuo, who loved making a racket. And if Brain woke up too, he’d be in serious trouble.
As long as he let Brain vaguely think it was Zuo Zuo, even if she realized what was going on, she definitely wouldn’t let him wake up.
Heh heh heh.
Lynn felt like he was gradually turning into a truly awful pervert!
As expected!
He really wasn’t a good person!!
Since the heart was already called Zuo Zuo, why not name Brain You You too? Wouldn’t that make the pair perfectly matched and extra nice?
Ahahahahahaha!
And in her daze,
as if she had heard that strange, evil laughter beside her, the silver-haired girl who was the Colossus’s Brain twitched her eyelashes. Then she slowly half-opened her eyes, revealing sleepy, somewhat unfocused silver eyes.“Good morning!”
Lynn blinked and greeted her.
The Colossus’s Brain slowly sat up. Her long silver hair hung over her shoulders as she rubbed her eyes in a daze and said,
“Morning...”
“...”
A brief, eerie silence.
Buzz—
Her pupils instantly widened, and her sleepiness vanished. When she saw the thing she was holding, her gaze went completely blank.
A breeze blew in through the crack in the window, stirring her long silver hair and bringing a faint chill to her body.
With a blank stare, she creakily turned her gaze toward her own body.
Buzz—
She instantly seemed to break down, freezing stiff as a statue.
“...”
Perhaps the breeze drifting in from outside had brought a bit of a chill with it.
Nestled in Lynn’s left arm, the little Zuo Zuo had her mouth open, drool trickling from the corner. She smacked her lips unconsciously, then also dazedly sat up. She pressed a little hand to her mouth and let out a huge yawn, swaying groggily as she murmured,
“Huh... Brain... why are you lying here... Wasn’t I supposed to be sleeping with Brain...?”
Clearly, she still wasn’t fully awake.
She rubbed her sleepy eyes, confused and groggy as she wondered why she still had a hand. Hadn’t she broken free of Mimicry and changed back into her left-hand form?
But the thought only crossed her mind for an instant.
Then, without thinking, she raised her head in a daze.
“...”
A brief, eerie silence.
Her gaze went blank too. As if she had been startled, she froze in place, terrified.
Then she shakily turned her head with a creak and looked at Lynn, who was lying in the middle of the bed, propped on one arm with a (* ̄︶ ̄) expression. He had the satisfied look of someone enjoying a cigarette after sex.
Something was wrong...
Something wasn’t quite right...
She stared at him, stiff as a board.
A blush quickly spread over her body and up to her face, and steam began pouring from the top of her head.
C-could it be...
“...”
“AAAAAAAH!!!!”
A piercing scream burst out, resounding throughout all of Nightfall City.
The next moment, trembling with furious embarrassment, Zuo Zuo grabbed the blanket and lunged at Lynn, clutching his neck and shaking him back and forth as she shrieked, her face bright red.
“You great pervert!! You lecher!!”
“Waaah!! What exactly did you do to us?! You bastard!!”
The Colossus’s Brain remained sitting there stiffly, clutching the blanket with a blank stare. Her whole body trembled nonstop, like a loli who had completely broken down.
In her mind, scenes of the Colossus Civilization’s social changes, from primitive society all the way to ascension, kept replaying: from living off raw meat and blood to walking upright, from kingdoms warring in the cold-weapon era to the first gear meshing in the age of heavy industry, then the pinnacle of the Technological Civilization, the glorious ascension along the path of Flesh and blood, and finally its fall.
Countless social transformations flashed by like scenes in a movie. Then she became a Colossus, fell into hell, and was turned by some creature into this strange little girl’s body. Finally...
Frozen...
The light slowly faded from her eyes.
Furious and trembling, Zuo Zuo grabbed Lynn by the neck and shouted,
“What did you do to us?! Say something, now!! You stupid Brain!!!”
As if he wanted to tease them, Lynn spread his arms with a ヽ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ and said,
“Of course I did some really high stuff with you while you were asleep! Why else would we all be lying here? Surfing? Do I really need to come up with some other bizarre explanation?”
Unable to accept reality, Zuo Zuo shouted and tightened her grip around his neck.
But how could Lynn possibly admit he hadn’t done anything?
That was right!
Go on, make those cute expressions!
Even without actually doing anything, you little girls have already been marked with the stain of Lynn! Ahahahaha! Tremble!
Clutching his throttled neck, Lynn asked in confusion and with some difficulty,
“Brain... y-you... where are you going...?”
Clutching the blanket, she stumbled to the table in the living room.
Then her little hand picked up the knife they had used to cut the roast meat yesterday.
As Lynn stared at her, she blankly murmured, “I got screwed...” She held the knife and slowly turned around to look at him.
The knife gave a bright, metallic glint.
Lynn instantly went (((;꒪ꈊ꒪;)))!!!
Something was wrong!
Something wasn’t right!
Why was this turning out so differently from what he’d imagined? Wasn’t she supposed to make a little fuss and leave it at that?
Why did the way this scene was developing give him the feeling of a Makoto-kun ending?! Surely it wouldn’t come to that! There was no way it would come to that! His actions couldn’t possibly have been bad enough to make him follow in Makoto’s footsteps, could they?!
