Chapter 862: The Colossus Twins!

Lynn was instantly dumbfounded.

“ T-touch you? Brain, can you at least have some evidence before you accuse me? I was sleeping so soundly. You suddenly punched me awake, and now you’re slandering my good name out of nowhere?”

Lynn was getting angry!

He reached out and poked her soft cheek, reproaching her, “Don’t you know that suddenly waking someone from a deep sleep is incredibly immoral, Brain?!”

But the Colossus’s Brain continued to glare at him furiously. Lowering her voice, she gritted her teeth and said, “Shut up! Zuo Zuo was sleeping like a log. If you weren’t controlling Left Hand, who else could it have been? And you still want to deny it!”

Lynn stared at her. “Do you have any evidence?”

The Colossus’s Brain pressed her lips together in anger. “Evidence? Of course I do. You just poked me! Doesn’t that count as evidence?!”

Lynn froze.

Then he explained with complete seriousness, “Of course it doesn’t. That was just a perfectly normal reaction because I was having a very erotic dream. Are you saying that even dreaming is a vile act now? Brain, if that’s how you’re going to be, then you’re really going too far!”

His tone grew stern.

He gave her cheek another hard poke.

The Colossus’s Brain was stunned.

She had never imagined that this guy could come up with such an outrageous excuse and deliver it with such righteous conviction.

She pursed her lips and shot him an angry look. Knowing she couldn’t win an argument with him, but not wanting to wake Zuo Zuo, she pulled the covers tightly around herself, turned away with a huff, and edged farther into the corner to put some distance between them.

What a detestable guy!

She closed her eyes.

Clenching her rock-hard fist, she refused to say another word to him.

Sleep!

She could only hope that, after her warning, he wouldn’t push his luck and keep touching her. Though it might just have been Zuo Zuo moving around unconsciously, and it was also possible she really had accused him unfairly, either way, it had left her thoroughly annoyed. Hmph!

“……”

Time slowly passed once more.

And it seemed to have worked. By the time she was nearly asleep, drifting in and out of consciousness, she hadn’t felt Left Hand in her arms making any more overly bold movements.

Little by little, she relaxed and loosened the arms she had clasped tightly across her chest. In a daze, she gradually drifted off to sleep.

But as time went on,

she began to feel that something was wrong again.

The movements were much subtler than before, though, so they didn’t really wake her.

Her eyelashes fluttered faintly. Drowsiness blurred her vision, and all she could make out was a faint silver glow. It seemed that a girl who looked very much like her current self was nestled beside her, mouth slightly open in an adorable sleeping expression, eyes closed. Her soft breaths brushed against her neck, an enchanting and lovely sight.

Had the Queen turned into a human?

That thought surfaced in her hazy mind.

Though she vaguely sensed that something wasn’t quite right, being able to hold the Queen in this form instead of as a hand made her feel especially safe and relaxed on a subconscious level. So she didn’t wake up.

In a daze, she closed her eyes again and instinctively snuggled closer to the girl, almost wrapping her arms completely around her.
