Chapter 41 Say That Again!
Chapter 41: Chapter 41 Say That Again!
Golden particles of light drifted down from the wings in the sky. The moment they touched the hunters below, their wounds instantly began to heal.
"That’s her! I’ve only seen her on the news before, but now I’m finally seeing her with my own eyes! That’s the leader of Golden Wing, Lady Iris!"
The surrounding hunters stared in astonishment at the radiant light descending from her wings.
It was the manifestation of the Epic-Rank class, Golden Seraph, a class that specialized in large-scale healing magic. It was considered one of the ten rarest classes in the entire state of Rahiel.
Because of the spell, the hunters’ morale increased once again. They raised their weapons and resumed their assault on the monsters.
Iris slowly descended onto the roof of one of the buildings, where Riana caught her before she could collapse. Iris’s face had turned pale. Riana quickly handed her an Mana potion.
"I have told you so many times, Iris. Don’t use that skill too often. Your mana is barely enough as it is. If you keep pushing yourself like this, I’m afraid your body won’t be able to take it anymore," Riana said.
"It... it’s alright, Riana. Thank you for taking care of me all this time... and for not telling everyone," Iris replied softly.
After drinking five bottles of Mana potions, she finally regained enough strength to stand on her own.
She had actually been struggling with her class ever since she obtained it five years ago. As powerful as Golden Seraph was, it was an incredibly mana-hungry class. Every single skill consumed an extraordinary amount of mana.
Compared to other hunters, Iris’s mana pool was already far greater than theirs. Even so, it still wasn’t enough. That alone showed just how immense the burden of her class truly was.
Within the company, only Riana knew about her condition. Not even Lucien was aware of it.
Most of the time, Iris would rest inside a mana-rich chamber, allowing her mana to slowly recover over time.
"Let’s make our move now. Tell our men to follow Arun," Iris ordered.
Riana let out a sigh before carrying out her command.

The appearance of the golden wings above the center of the city drew the attention of hunters throughout every district.
In the western area, Max and Zane’s group immediately made their way toward the center.
With the exceptional talent of everyone in the group, they easily cut down every monster that stood in their path.
"Max, what class do you actually have? Come on, don’t be shy. Just tell us," Oscar kept pestering him to reveal his class.
Ever since Max had joined their party, he had become the center of attention among Oscar and the others.
"I already told you. It’s Skyfall Swordfighter," Max replied with the same answer.
"Skyfall Swordfighter doesn’t have those kinds of skills. I’ve read about that class before," Denis said. He was just as curious.
’Ahh! Damn it! These guys are so annoying. I’m starting to regret joining their group.’
"Enough bothering him, you two. Focus on what’s in front of us. We’re still not safe," Zane interrupted.
---
In the northern area, a trio of hunters was surrounded by monsters. The three of them stood back-to-back as a pack of wolf monsters slowly circled them.
"Why the hell did all of us have to fall into the same place? Talk about bad luck!" Benn Strong complained.
"Do you think I wanted this too? I rather team up with an F-Rank hunter than with you," Otto, who stood beside him, sneered.
"Enough, you two. Right now, we need to figure out how to get out of this situation," Quinn said.
All three of them specialized in tank classes. Although they were extremely difficult to bring down, they all lacked offensive power.
Among them, only Otto from Golden Wing possessed decent firepower because he had obtained the War Templar class. Even then, he had built his class entirely for defense, neglecting most of its offensive skills.
It was going to be a long fight for the three of them.
---
In the southern area, Lars and his group were also making their way toward the center of the city. With Vega and Lucien’s swift movements, the monsters stood no chance against them.
Lars could no longer hold back his curiosity after watching Vega use Phantom Magus. He quickly ran beside him.
"Vega, can I ask you something? Why does your Phantom Magus class seem so much stronger?"
Vega suddenly turned to Lars as his eyes beneath his mask filled with hostility. He was wondering how Lars knew about his class.
"No! No! Err... I have a friend who also has the same class as you. That’s why I know. But my friend’s usage doesn’t seem anywhere near as good as yours."
Lars’s heart nearly stopped when he saw Vega slowly raising his dagger. Luckily, his lie seemed believable. There was no way he could admit that he possessed the same class.
"It’s all about execution and timing. You need to know when to use each skill. You are the one using the class, not the class using you."
With that, Vega quickly leaped onto a nearby wall before jumping onto the rooftop.
"What the hell does he mean by that?!" Lars scratched his head in confusion.
Vega’s answer was so vague that Lars couldn’t understand the meaning behind it. As he was deep in thought and not paying attention, a large shadow suddenly fell over him.
Lars instinctively stepped backward and looked up. A giant bird monster was diving straight toward him with its claws fully extended.
"Lars! Watch out!"
Justin suddenly shoved Lars out of the way, only to be caught by the bird’s claws himself. Lars was thrown into a nearby cart.
"Justin!" Lars shouted. He immediately got back to his feet and chased after the bird monster.
"Where did that thing come from?" Lucien clicked his tongue. "Just ignore him. He’s a goner."
"Say that again, and I will cut your tongue out!" Lars glared sharply at him.
Lucien was momentarily stunned. Without wasting another second, Lars rushed after the bird, leaving everyone else to follow.
"How dare he talk to me like that?!" Lucien’s face twisted with anger as veins bulged across his forehead.
