Location: Myriad Cosmos Corridor, Unknow

There were other energies on the same level as or higher than Primordial Energy out there in the Myriad Cosmos.

The Myriad Realms and the beings in them were created using only Primordial Energy and its derivatives, without using the other original energies.

Because the beings in the Myriad Realms lacked the other original energies, they were incapable of taking the path to transcendence.

Now, the beings who knew this, the Barred Beings, had enslaved the Primordial Pixies, believing they could help them make up for the other original energies they lacked and finally see the path to transcendence they had all so longed for.

So that was what the most powerful beings of the Myriad Realms were up to. Or at least, they were all trying to do something similar in their own way.

But the question was, could they? Could the Primordial Pixies really provide them with original energies?

Also, what was I supposed to make of the fact that World Calamity Seeds didn’t need the path of transcendence since they had access to a plane higher than the Myriad Cosmos, the Myriad Cosmos Corridor?

From where I was standing, it looked like I had very, very, very limited entry. I had been stripped of my core as I entered this so-called higher plane.

“Can the Primordial Pixie really provide them with original energies?” I asked BoBo in doubt, even though I had a feeling that it was pixie dust they were looking for.

“Of course, we can. The pixie dust we produce is a combination of all the original energies. It was thanks to the pixie dust that the Primordial Pixies of your cosmos were able to build it using only Primordial Energy. It was pixie dust that helped create so many derivatives of the Primordial Energy you are familiar with.

“However, they are going about this the wrong way. Pixie dust is something even the Transcendents don’t dare to try and comprehend. It’s the sum of all original energies. Do you know what it takes for one to merge all the original energies perfectly into one stable form? They are simply being ignorant.

“How do I give you an idea of how ignorant they are? It’s like they don’t know what integers are, but they’re trying to solve the most difficult integration problem there is.”

“By the way, I just checked. There are instances of Barred Beings in your cosmos achieving transcendence, but they all achieved it with help from Transcendents from other cosmos who introduced them to derivatives of the other original energies. They seemed to value these Barred Beings’ understanding of Primordial Energy and its derivatives. After all, it’s one of the four main original energies. Even though their help comes at a steep price, many were willing to pay more just to get the opportunity,” BoBo added, looking it up after seeing how much I cared about transcendence, even though she didn’t understand why someone who had the potential to become a Cosmic Calamity Tree would care about something as trivial as achieving transcendence.

Maybe the Church of Demigod Michael Angelo wasn’t exaggerating. Demigod Michael Angelo definitely found the remains of a Transcendent, those remains introduced him to the derivatives of other original energies, allowing him to see the path of transcendence. Before leaving, he might have left a part of his will in the Card World’s heaven and duplicates of his runes and divinity, along with his inheritance, in the Ruby Vault that Pax Whiteburn inherited.

Coming to this realization, it made me wonder if Demigod Michael Angelo had left the secret to transcendence in his inheritance. A way for his heir to learn the derivatives of the other original energies.

He should have, right? Or did he fear the consequences and chose to leave his heir to their fate? Well, considering that the Church of Demigod Michael Angelo had stories about him helping his daughter achieve transcendence and some stories claiming she failed, either was possible.

“BoBo, if Pixie Dust is so strong, why are the Primordial Pixies in my cosmos so weak? How can a Primordial Pixie become an Elder Primordial Pixie? And do you have any idea what race this Lil’ Baem belongs to and how it can eat Primordial Pixies?” I asked.

I found it odd that Barred Beings were able to enslave Primordial Pixies and that Unknown Primordial Beasts like Lil’ Baem could eat Primordial Pixies. I mean, these were the very beings that created our cosmos and continued to maintain it. How could beings so powerful be enslaved or treated as a delicacy?

“As you already know, our abilities are directly linked to our will. The stronger our will, the stronger we are. And the Barred Being from your cosmos has cast a bloodline curse on all the Primordial Beings within your cosmos, making them weak-willed, though the Elder Pixies show little resistance to it.”

“As for how a Pixie becomes an Elder Pixie? If you ever figure it out, please do tell me. I have spent several millennia wishing to become an Elder Pixie, and yet I’m nowhere close to becoming one. So, wishing for it is definitely not the way.

“Lastly, the Primordial Beast you speak of is a descendant of one of the earliest Barred Beasts of your cosmos. Beasts are dumb, and they instinctively rely on devouring to grow stronger. The Barred Beast’s descendants have inherited its regret, and their beast instincts drive them to eat Primordial Pixies in order to comprehend the other original energies. However, they always end up with a sick stomach and vomit the Pixies out,” BoBo answered all my questions one by one, but the number of Calamity Fruits she ate between every answer had now increased to four. I don’t think she herself realizes that she was showing signs of being addicted to my Calamity Fruits. “It’s not just those descendants of the Barred Snake Beasts, but also the descendants of all the other Barred Beasts. They all hunt and eat Primordial Pixies only to vomit them out later. Most Pixies treat it as a sticky and stinky water slide.”

I guess that explains why Lil’ Baem’s Vapor Venom skill is so potent.
