Old Marcus continued as he started to plan Max’s training schedule.

As he spoke, Marcus glanced towards the weapons resting in the corner. Suddenly, one of the spears shot through the air and flew straight into his hand.

Max was surprised to see this, as this was clearly similar to the telekinesis that Stella used, but didn’t it usually get used by a spiritual awakener, or was this old man a spiritual awakener, not a bloodline awakener?

But he didn’t get the time to think much as Old Marcus started to tell him something else.

“Listen, kid, I am going to show you one of the four fundamental spear techniques that spear masters of humans in ancient times put together after thousands of years of battle and refining their understanding to create these four spear styles.”

“The one I am going to teach is called the Dragon Slaying Spear technique, which is kind of ironic considering your bloodline, but it is a perfect spear technique for you.”

Max, hearing this, was a bit surprised by the name of the spear technique, but he quickly calmed down, as he didn’t care about that; instead, what matters is its power.

As long as it’s powerful, he doesn’t care if it’s called the Shitty Spear Technique. He’ll learn it anyway!

Old Marcus then held the spear and took a stance.

And then he made his move.

But he then didn’t stop and continued to show the next move.

“Second move – Dragon Sweeping Tail!”

The spear swept sideways in a powerful arc, its movement resembling the mighty tail of a dragon whipping through the air.

BOOM!

The metallic dummy, still embedded in the ground, was violently torn free and sent flying. The terrifying force of the sweep shattered the hard stone tiles beneath it, leaving cracks spreading across the floor.

“Third move – Descending Dragon Claw!”

He seemed to jump high as ten metres in the air.

For an instant, his figure hung above the training ground, the spear held firmly in his hands. Then he descended like a dragon swooping down upon its prey, bringing the spear crashing towards the ground with the ferocity of a colossal claw.

BANG!

The impact shook the entire training ground.

The stone floor beneath old Marcus shattered like glass, and chunks of stone flew in every direction as a small crater formed where his spear struck.

Max was shocked that he was unable to move. He couldn’t believe that this was power generated by just some spear technique without using any bloodline ability.

The entire training area is made of very hard stones that are difficult to damage by a full-force attack of bloodline awakeners. He might not even be able to do this much damage with his blood explosion.

But the old man did it with just the spear technique. After feeling shocked, he became excited to learn this Dragon Slaying Spear technique.

If he learned this technique and combined it with his Hell Crimson Spear, his strength would increase many times.

“Quick, Senior, teach me.” He couldn’t wait to say.

“Alright.” And then old Marcus took out a blue crystal.
