[BL] Transmigrated Into A Fool To Seduce The Blackened Male Lead
Chapter 135: Attracting Unwanted Attention
Chapter 135: Chapter 135: Attracting Unwanted Attention
As soon as they left Mingxin Pill Shop, MuMu began circling around Sui Sui, his two golden horns bobbing with every excited step. He had been remarkably well-behaved while they were inside, but now that they were out, it seemed he could no longer contain himself.
"Sui Sui! When are we buying cakes? MuMu wants cakes! MuMu wants to eat them now!"
Sui Sui glanced down at the little creature bouncing beside him and couldn’t help but roll his eyes amusingly. "You little glutton. Is cake the only thing you ever think about? We just left the shop, and you’re already thinking about food?"
"Yep, yep, yep! MuMu only wants cake!" MuMu chirped without the slightest hint of shame. He even nodded his round little head repeatedly.
Sui Sui stared at him for a moment before letting out a helpless laugh. This little fellow really had no other ambitions in life besides eating. If it weren’t for the fact that MuMu was so cute, he might have been tempted to leave him hungry for a while just to teach him a lesson.
Unfortunately, MuMu knew exactly how to take advantage of his master’s soft heart. He rubbed himself against Sui Sui’s leg, then looked up at him with his bright eyes, repeating his request in an increasingly pitiful voice.
"Sui Sui... cakes..."
"Alright, alright! Stop rubbing against me!" Sui Sui finally gave in, reaching down to pat MuMu’s fluffy head. "We’ll buy you some cakes. Happy now?"
MuMu’s eyes lit up instantly. "Happy! MuMu loves Sui Sui the most!"
"That’s what you say whenever you want something to eat." Sui Sui flicked his forehead lightly, though the corners of his mouth had already curled upward.
Truthfully, he was in a particularly good mood today. With everything having gone so smoothly, he felt rather generous. Also, since he earned a lot of spirit coins today, buying MuMu some cakes was hardly going to put a dent in his earnings.
"Come on, let’s see what they have."
The moment Sui Sui agreed, MuMu eagerly led the way, his little body practically bouncing with every step. Fortunately, they didn’t have to search for long before the sweet aroma of freshly baked pastries drifted toward them from a nearby shop. Rows of delicate cakes and pastries filled the display, their surfaces glazed with syrup or decorated with colorful toppings. Some were shaped like flowers, while others were small and round, neatly arranged on wooden trays.
MuMu stopped in his tracks, staring at the display as though he had just discovered a treasure trove. His mouth opened slightly, and for once, he was too overwhelmed by the sight to say anything.
Sui Sui followed his gaze and chuckled. "What happened? Cat got your tongue? Weren’t you shouting about cakes just a moment ago?"
"Cakes..." MuMu whispered, pressing his little paws against the edge of the display. "So many cakes..."
The shopkeeper, who had been arranging a fresh tray behind the counter, noticed the adorable little creature and smiled. "Young master, you’ve brought yourself a rather enthusiastic little customer! Would you like to try some of our freshly made pastries? They’re especially sweet and soft."
MuMu immediately turned to Sui Sui, his eyes shining with anticipation. "Sui Sui! This one! And that one! Oh, and that one too!"
Sui Sui followed the direction of his paw, watching as it moved from one tray to another without showing the slightest sign of stopping. His mouth twitched. "Are you buying cakes or trying to empty the entire shop?"
"MuMu wants to eat them all!" MuMu declared proudly.
The shopkeeper laughed at their exchange, clearly entertained. "Your little companion certainly has a good appetite. We have several varieties, too. These flower-shaped pastries are filled with sweet bean paste, while these softer ones are made with spirit rice flour. We also have honey cakes that are particularly popular with young cultivators."
MuMu’s ears perked up at the mention of honey cakes. He pointed at the tray immediately. "Those! MuMu wants those!"
"Fine, fine. Give me a few of those, too." Seeing how excited MuMu was, Sui Sui decided not to be stingy. He asked the shopkeeper to pack a generous assortment of cakes and pastries, choosing several varieties so MuMu wouldn’t get bored eating the same thing every day.
The shopkeeper worked quickly, placing the selected treats into several paper-wrapped parcels before packing them neatly into a storage box. Sui Sui paid the bill and tucked the box away in his space bag.
MuMu watched the entire process with sparkling eyes, looking as though he could hardly wait for the moment he would finally get to eat. The moment Sui Sui finished putting everything away, he immediately tugged at his sleeve.
"Sui Sui! Can MuMu eat one now?"
Sui Sui couldn’t help laughing at his impatience. "Didn’t you just get a whole box? Why are you in such a hurry?"
"Because MuMu wants to eat cakes now!"
"Alright, you can have one." Sui Sui took out a small cake and handed it to him before adding sternly, "But listen carefully. This is your portion for the month. If you gobble everything up in a few days, don’t come crying to me for more."
MuMu took the cake with both paws and nodded so enthusiastically that his golden horns wobbled. "Okay, okay! MuMu understands!"
However, judging by the way he had already buried his face in the cake, however, Sui Sui suspected that not a single word of his warning had actually registered.
He could only shake his head and continue walking, leaving MuMu to happily munch away beside him. Well, it wasn’t as though he couldn’t afford to spoil the little glutton a bit.
While Sui Sui continued wandering through the streets of Linfeng City, completely absorbed in his shopping, he remained unaware that several pairs of eyes had been following him from a distance.
"Is that the one?" a burly man with a rugged face asked, narrowing his eyes at Sui Sui. The man scar ran along his jaw, and his thick fingers drummed impatiently against the hilt of the blade at his waist. He had the air of someone accustomed to taking whatever he wanted, with little concern for whose toes he might step on.
"Yes, Boss!" one of his underlings immediately replied. "I saw him selling pills earlier. He made quite a fortune, and judging by how many he sold, he must still have plenty of spirit coins on him. If we rob him, we’ll definitely make a big haul!"
The boss stroked his chin, his gaze lingering on Sui Sui’s retreating figure. Before he could respond, another man stepped forward, his gaze lingering on Sui Sui’s slender figure and delicate face. A cruel smile tugged at his lips.
"That’s not all, Boss. Take a good look at his face. He’s pretty enough to fetch a good price, too. If we sell him off, we could make even more than we would from robbing him!"
A few of the men exchanged grins,. Then the boss also let out a low, humorless chuckle.
"Greedy little bastard, aren’t you?" he muttered, though it was unclear whether he was addressing his subordinate or their unsuspecting target. "Fine. We’ll take his money and see what else he’s worth."
He turned to the others, his expression hardening as his voice dropped into a cold, commanding tone.
"Go gather the boys"
"Yes, Boss!"
The men answered in hushed voices before scattering into the crowd, blending seamlessly among the passing cultivators and merchants. They had done this sort of thing more times than they could count. A lone cultivator with money, no visible companions, and a face worth selling was exactly the kind of prey they preferred.
The boss watched the street for another moment before turning away, a sinister smile settling over his scarred face.
"Looks like we’re going fishing today."

Meanwhile, just outside the territory of Linfeng City, a blue-robed man rode his sword through the air, his long black hair streaming behind him in the wind. His features were strikingly handsome, with a well-defined jaw, a straight nose, and thin, naturally curved lips. A pair of long, narrow phoenix eyes lent his face an elegant yet imposing charm, their deep black irises especially captivating against his pale complexion. Even without a smile, he possessed the kind of beauty that could easily turn heads, though the cold aloofness in his expression made him seem distant and untouchable, like an immortal who had descended from the heavens and held little regard for the affairs of the mortal world.
As he continued toward the city, he suddenly felt a faint movement beneath the skin of his palm. Lowering his gaze, he watched as a small bulge shifted beneath his flesh, the female Gu worm wriggling restlessly within his body. Its unusual agitation could only mean one thing: its male counterpart was nearby.
The man’s cold expression softened, and a faint smile tugged at his lips. There was something rather amusing about this discovery, especially considering who the Gu worm had led him to.
"Oh? So my little fool is here?"
He kept his palm slightly raised, watching the subtle movements beneath his skin with amusement.
"Good, good." His smile deepened as he gazed toward Linfeng City. "Since you’ve gone to such lengths to come and find me yourself, how could this senior brother possibly disappoint you?"
With that, he urged his sword forward.
