June held onto Nyx firmly while he spoke. "What is it...? What’s wrong with you...?"

Immediately, Nyx felt an intense rush of pain shoot through his body. He brushed June’s hands off and held his head firmly, groaning in pain as he shook his head, struggling to fight off the energy roaming through him.

"Get out of here... right now. Leave me... Leave me alone," Nyx snapped.

June knelt there, staring closely at him. He could read through Nyx’s energy. Nyx was growing berserk from the outburst of energy he had emitted, the unstable power struggling to adjust to his body.

And June was certain that if nothing happened, Nyx might actually explode like his brother had suggested, taking the entire dungeon down with him.

"Nyx... it’s okay. I’m here..." June tried reaching out to him, attempting to calm him with his voice. "I’m here... It’ll be fine."

But Nyx was still struggling internally. The energy instability was so extreme that June was certain ordinary methods of soothing him wouldn’t work at all.

Something more extreme was needed to counter the level of energy he was emitting.

June held him firmly. "Let’s get out of here... It’s not safe here," he tried to reason with him.

But Nyx brushed him off again, shaking in pain and instability as he fought against the demon inside him.

And just then, the atmosphere began collapsing.

As though the entire dungeon were nothing more than an illusion, the surroundings began cracking apart and dispersing into dust.

June gasped as he looked around. "This is bad..."

He turned back to Nyx. "Let’s get—"

Golden flames suddenly burst from Nyx, brushing June away and sending him flying through the air. He landed harshly on the floor.

Nyx gasped as he stared into the distance. He was terrified by what he had done to June and wanted to run to him, but he couldn’t control himself. Instead, he remained on his knees, watching June struggle to get back to his feet.

"Leave... Get out of here. Leave me alone..." Nyx said, one hand running through his hair as immense pain coursed through him.

June slowly got back on his feet and stared down at him. How the hell am I supposed to leave you? Don’t be silly.

He slowly made his way toward Nyx. "And you..."

Nyx, still struggling, managed to look up at him, his eyes glowing gold.

June stood there, staring at him as he tried to gather his words through his heavy breathing. Finally, he managed to say, "You... Didn’t you say you liked me?"

"Didn’t you say you wanted to be with me? How am I supposed to leave you here, then? How are we supposed to be together if I leave you here?"

Silence.

Nyx knelt there, staring up at him with a soft gasp. The pain was still running through his veins, but he struggled to hold it back in reaction to what he had just heard June say.

"You..." Nyx muttered, his eyes slowly clearing as he stared at June. "What do you... mean?"

June slowly staggered toward him. The atmosphere around them continued shattering into pieces of blue, carried away by the dust. He finally stood before Nyx.

"If you want to hear my response... then we have to leave. The two of us... alive."

June smiled faintly.

"Because I have a response now."

Nyx stared at him, his heart fluttering at June’s words. He grew overly excited, struggling to hold himself down.

But with that excitement came another wave of energy surging through his veins. The pain returned, and he struggled to breathe.

"Just leave! I can’t hold—" He grabbed his head with both hands, panic flashing across his face as the atmosphere shattered even further around them, everything crumbling down.

June looked around.

They didn’t have much time left. They had to leave this place, and that meant getting Nyx under control.

And at that moment, only one thing came to his mind.

June instantly dropped to his knees in front of Nyx and pulled his hands away from his head, forcing him to look directly at him.

Their eyes locked as June held both of Nyx’s cheeks in his hands.

"Look at me," he said. "Only at me... and think about me alone."

Nyx stared at him, struggling to keep himself from losing control and hurting June.

And then June said firmly, "Kiss me."

Nyx gasped. His eyes returned to normal as he stared at June. "You... what do—"

"Do it," June said. "Now."

Just then, Nyx’s eyes turned golden again.

This time, he grabbed June by the neck and pulled him in for a kiss.

Their lips instantly locked in the heat of the moment, with Nyx taking the lead. His body grew tense from the energy surging through him, and while he struggled to tame it, he found himself directing that intense energy into the kiss.

He held June closer, kissing him aggressively and almost possessively. His tongue slipped between June’s lips, deepening the kiss as their bodies pressed together.

June had no control over what was happening. Nyx dominated the kiss, devouring his mouth with overwhelming intensity.

He kissed him hard, pressing their mouths together as he breathed against June’s lips, refusing to let him go.

June gasped, struggling to breathe properly from the kiss, but to no avail. Nyx remained dominant, pouring all the pent-up energy inside him into the kiss.

As they knelt there, Nyx’s hands slowly caressed June’s body while he kissed him. His hands moved across June’s chest and neck, holding him close as their kiss continued.

The heat between them was intense—so intense that June’s mind became filled with fantasies of Nyx’s heat consuming him.

He was hungry for all of it, lost in the intensity of the moment as Nyx kissed him and held him close.

Then, just as he became completely lost in the moment, the system beeped, dragging him back to reality.
