June found himself flushing as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Well..."

Neol smiled. "Thank you. I don’t think I can say that enough..."

June said nothing. He quietly stood there, watching him speak.

"When I left, I was worried about him. He was always so naive... I was scared he wouldn’t be able to navigate this world alone."

"But right now, I think I’m rather confident with you around him." He smiled at June. "Thank you for helping him this far."

June slowly nodded. "I guess I couldn’t bear seeing him like that, so..." He hesitated.

Neol smiled. "You two would make a perfect couple too. You should consider it."

June stared at him. "What are you talking about? I... I don’t know what you mean..."

Neol sighed as he folded his arms. "You can’t fool a ghost."

June hesitated, a soft smile appearing on his face as he stared into the distance without saying anything. After a while, he finally said, "I guess I’m doomed... I like the villain..."

Neol smiled. "I won’t tell you what to do. All I can say is that you have my blessings. I support you."

June stared at him before asking, "And... you’re not going to meet him?"

Neol said nothing. He simply smiled as he stared down.

June guessed he wasn’t ready to, so instead, he asked, "And... you’re not going to leave him with any words at least?"

Neol hesitated before saying, "Just tell him that you love him. ’I love you’ could go a long way. At least that would make him happy. That’s enough."

June didn’t ask any further. He slowly nodded with a smile as he stared at Neol. He was certain the perfect opportunity for them to meet would come someday.

And he would leave that to fate.

June stared at him with a smile. "I see why he loves you so much. You are such a good brother."

Neol smiled. "You flatter me."

June looked around before asking, "Where is he, though...? What happened to him?"

Neol looked around as well.

"He probably needs you right now after killing him."

June stared at him, surprised.

"Kill? Nyx killed someone? Who?"

"Mr. Kevin," he simply said.

The two of them stood there in silence, staring into the strange atmosphere.

"Nyx..." June repeated, growing worried about how Nyx was feeling now. He had killed someone, so he could certainly imagine how scared he must be.

"That’s why the atmosphere in the dungeon shifted..."

Neol nodded.

"Go and help him out. He can only leave this dungeon if you do. If not, he’ll remain here while he destroys the dungeon himself and kills himself along with it..."

He stared at June as he added, "So please... Help my brother again."

June still had his eyes fixed in the distance as he slowly nodded.

"But where can I find him...?"

June turned around, but Neol was already walking away into the distance.

"You..."

Neol turned around to stare at him with a smile.

"You’ll find him..."

And then he added, "And... even when you leave for your world, please don’t forget my brother."

He winked at June before instantly disappearing into blue dust, washed away into the strange atmosphere.

"...."

June was speechless, standing there and staring at the empty space.

It finally hit him that Neol had said exactly what he thought he had.

"Did he just say your world...? What does he... know?" June gasped, realizing that Neol might actually know something.

But he was gone now, and there was no one left for him to find out from.

A chill ran down his spine as he stared for a while before looking around.

"What more does he know...? Does that mean I can actually go back...?"

While June was lost in thought, he heard the sound again.

Someone was muttering inaudible words from behind, making him turn around in a flash.

He saw the same person again.

Kneeling.

Hands over his head.

Shaking and muttering.

June hesitated for a moment before realizing who this could be.

"Nyx..."

He rushed toward the scene and dropped to his knees right in front of him.

"Nyx..." he called as he gently held Nyx’s hands, bringing them down from his head. "Nyx... Are you okay?"

"It’s fine... It’s me. June. I’m here. It’s okay. No one will harm you. It’s June..."

Soon, Nyx paused as soon as he heard his name and June’s voice.

"June...?" he muttered in a quavering tone as he slowly opened his eyes.

Their eyes met.

Nyx’s expression slowly lit up into a tender smile.

"June..."

He didn’t wait. Nyx instantly pulled June into an urgent embrace, holding him so tightly that June struggled to breathe.

"June..." he muttered in a breathy tone. "You’re here... You’re here..."

He held June firmly in his embrace, unwilling to let him go.

June smiled while in his embrace. He slowly wrapped his arms around Nyx as well, hugging him while gently patting his back.

"It’s okay... It’s okay... I’m here. It’ll be fine from now on... It’ll be fine..."

The two of them stayed like that for a while, wrapped in a firm hug. Nyx had his eyes shut while holding June closely, while June smiled and gently rubbed his back.

After a while, June smiled.

"So here you are. I’ve been looking for you everywhere..."

Nyx slowly opened his eyes after calming his nerves. He pulled back from the hug and stared into June’s eyes.

He was quiet.

Too quiet.

He simply stared at June until June started to worry.

"What?" June asked with a smile. "What’s wrong...? Why are you staring at me like that? Why aren’t you saying anything...?"

And just then, Nyx’s eyes turned golden.

"Go now... Leave..."

June was confused. "Huh...? What do you mean by that?" He couldn’t make out the context of which Nyx was speaking.

But Nyx repeated himself.

"Leave now..." he said. "If you want to live, get out of here right now."
