Chapter 155: 155: FAILED MISERABLY.

Mr. Kevin panicked as he heard the words, Nyx’s voice echoing through his head as he staggered down from the bed he had just been freed from.

"What... what do you mean by the initiation? What do you mean by the main stage...?!" He staggered as he looked around, as if trying to figure out where the voice was coming from.

"What the fuck do you mean by that...?" He struggled to stand after everything he had just gone through. "Get me out of here!" he demanded.

[SURE]

The voice came again, and Mr. Kevin instantly felt himself disappear into dust.

By the time he opened his eyes again, he was standing in a colosseum-like atmosphere. It was a grand, ancient-looking circular stadium with huge rock pillars standing around it.

"What the hell...?"

Mr. Kevin was confused as he looked around at the elevated seats surrounding the arena. He couldn’t see the people’s faces, but he was certain there were people around, standing and cheering while he stood down in the arena.

The atmosphere was so dusty that it was hard to see, but he was certain he could hear people cheering. It sounded like they were cheering for his execution or something.

"What’s all this...?"

He looked around in panic as the voice came again.

[WELCOME TO THE FIRST STAGE]

[YOU’LL GO THROUGH THREE STAGES. TRY SURVIVING THROUGH THESE THREE STAGES IF YOU EVER WANT TO LIVE AND LEAVE THIS DUNGEON]

[WHICH I DOUBT YOU’LL EVER BE ABLE TO MAKE IT]

Mr. Kevin gasped. "Are you being for real now...?"

[HOW TO SURVIVE THIS FIRST STAGE? GET THROUGH THAT DOOR WITHOUT BEING KILLED FIRST]

[BEGIN!]

Nyx’s voice didn’t care about anything other than passing down the required information.

And as soon as he was done, the atmosphere erupted into cheers from the audience standing at the ends of the stadium.

Mr. Kevin gasped as he looked around in confusion. "What the hell is even happening...? Survive from what...?"

And just as he asked, he caught sight of the ground opening, and things began appearing from below.

He gasped at the sight of huge black leopards with wings. There were up to five of them, all appearing at his sides and surrounding him.

They looked huge and vicious, their eyes red and bloodthirsty as their wings flapped with rage while they approached him.

Mr. Kevin panicked as he staggered backward. "This can’t be real... can it?!"

"Tear him down!"

"Yes! Yes! Yes!"

"Get him!"

He heard the inaudible sounds of the audience cheering as the monsters approached him slowly and viciously.

And when Mr. Kevin realized that this wasn’t a joke at all, he knew he had to run for his dear life.

Three of the leopards jumped at him, and Mr. Kevin instantly ran and dashed across the ground, rolling underneath them before struggling back to his feet.

His whole body ached from the previous torment, but when he was running for his life, he didn’t seem to care if his bones were cracking. He instantly turned and kept running toward the exit door.

Mr. Kevin smiled as he ran as fast as he could. He was getting close to the exit, with the monsters running behind him.

He smirked. "You dare underestimate me... you bastard."

He was getting closer to the exit when a leopard suddenly jumped out of thin air.

The beast ferociously grabbed him by the neck and slapped him through the air.

"Ah!"

Mr. Kevin felt pain break through him as he flew through the air and smashed his back against a pillar.

The audience instantly erupted into cheers, clearly delighted by the scene.

"Ah!" Mr. Kevin screamed in pain as he began falling from the pillar.

But two of the leopards flew toward him and grabbed him from opposite ends.

One leopard pulled him by the hair from his right side while another pulled him by the leg from the other side. They both pulled aggressively as Mr. Kevin shrieked in pain.

"Let me... ah!!!"

He felt tears run down his eyes as the pain shattered through his body. He almost felt like he would break into two at any moment!

Soon, the beasts let him go, and he began to fall. But before he could hit the ground, another leopard caught him, holding him by the hair as it took him into the air.

The leopard flew through the atmosphere with Mr. Kevin in its grip, aggressively flying from one place to another without care.

"Ah! Let me! Ah!"

Mr. Kevin was thrown through the air until he grew dizzy and uneasy. He felt his whole body aching while the audience cheered happily at the scene.

Mr. Kevin grew furious at the sound of these people cheering at his misery. It only added to his frustration.

Soon, the beasts began throwing him around.

It wasn’t a casual throw but a rather aggressive one. They threw him hard against a pillar.

"Ah!"

Mr. Kevin crashed against the pillar and struggled to land, but another leopard caught him and threw him against another.

They continued like that for a long time until they finally let him land hard on the floor.

Mr. Kevin was in pain as he struggled to his feet. He could barely feel his body as he stared up at the exit before him.

"If I can leave through this, I might survive..." he muttered to himself while staggering toward the exit.

But immediately, a leopard crashed its claws against his back, tearing through his clothing and piercing his back with its claws.

Tears erupted from Mr. Kevin’s eyes as pain ran through his whole body. Blood spilled from his back as he struggled to stand at all.

And as though that wasn’t enough, another beast came from his side, tearing the right arm of his clothing while piercing through his hand with its claws.

Pain and blood ran through him as he staggered to the side in immense agony.

Another came to his other side, and another moved toward his front, tearing his clothes and scratching through him with their claws.

Blood spilled across his body as he felt his whole body shattering from the pain.

And amidst his agony, the cheers from the audience only grew louder and happier.
