[BL] Oops! Guiding The F Class Villain Esper Gone Wrong!
Chapter 154: I WISH.
Chapter 154: 154: I WISH.
June opened his eyes to the sight of a whole desert right before him.
"Where the...?" Before he could finish speaking, he felt sweat rush down his forehead.
June ran a hand over his face and through his hair, feeling the sweat consume him as the intense heat hit his body. "What’s this now...?"
He stared around himself. Not only did he see Ryan, Simon, and Kael standing around him, but they were also all surrounded by a vast desert.
"Why the hell are we here...?" June adjusted his collar, feeling the heat burn through his veins.
"An anomaly dungeon..." Ryan sighed, fanning himself with his arms. "That’s probably what we should expect since we all jumped into the portal..."
"Damn..." June gasped. "And of all places, it just had to be a fucking desert. What happened to appearing by the beach or something?"
Kael wiped the sweat from his face as he looked around. "Given the weather, the monsters are about to be just as extreme."
He sighed. "I suppose I should have stayed back..."
Ryan folded his arms and rolled his eyes. "I wonder why you’re even here too."
"To keep you company," Kael said.
"Like I asked for it." Ryan tilted his head.
"You should be grateful." Kael folded his arms. "I’m here to protect you."
"I don’t need your protection," Ryan said.
"Well, you’ll have to..."
June sighed as he fanned himself hard. "Enough with the couple talk, we—"
"We’re not a couple," Ryan stared at June.
"..." June blinked before nodding. "Yeah, sure... whatever..."
"...Yet," Kael added as Ryan cast him a murderous glare.
June sighed as he looked around. "We have to find our way around here..." he explained.
"We don’t even know why we’re here or what we’re supposed to do..." Simon added.
Ryan sighed. "And where are Nyx and Mr. Kevin...? They fell into the same dungeon, so they should be around here somewhere."
June nodded. "Yeah... I guess that’s what we have to do now. We should find Nyx before that asshole hurts him further..."
Just then, June felt the system beep.
[TASK ALERT]
[YOU’VE SUCCESSFULLY FALLEN INTO THE DUNGEON CREATED BY HOST HIMSELF OUT OF FURY AND VENGEANCE]
June raised an eyebrow. "Created...?"
[YES. NORMALLY, ANOMALY DUNGEONS ARE CONNECTED TO HOST. SO THEY TEND TO APPEAR AROUND HIM]
[BUT HAVING UNLOCKED THE S-ULTRA CORE, IT GIVES HIM MORE POWER]
[HIS DARKER SIDE COULD INTENTIONALLY CREATE OR TRIGGER AN ANOMALY DUNGEON TO FULFILL HIS MALICIOUS INTENTIONS]
[AND THESE DUNGEONS ARE AN OUTPOURING OF FURIOUS ENERGY BEYOND HOST’S CONTROL, AS THIS SIDE OF HIM IS TRIGGERED WHEN HE IS FURIOUS]
[SO HOST’S VILLAIN CORE SIDE HAS CURRENTLY ACTIVATED A DUNGEON SPECIFICALLY TO LET OUT HIS FURY ON MR. KEVIN]
June slowly nodded. He did recall something like this in the original work—the final villain being able to summon anomaly dungeons.
"I guess that’s a good thing if he’s letting his anger out on that asshole," he thought.
[NOTE: THERE’S A DANGEROUS SIDE TO THIS]
[SUMMONING ANOMALY DUNGEONS MEANS LEANING MORE INTO THE VILLAIN SIDE]
[AND LEANING INTO THE VILLAIN SIDE AUTOMATICALLY MEANS LOSING THE ORIGINAL SIDE OF HOST]
[AND THIS MIGHT EVENTUALLY LEAD TO THE VILLAIN SIDE TAKING OVER COMPLETELY]
[ANYTIME HOST LEANS INTO THE VILLAIN SIDE, HE USES EXTREME POWER, WHICH ULTIMATELY MIGHT SEND HIM BERSERK]
[AND THE MORE BERSERK THE POWER GETS, THE FASTER HE GETS CONSUMED BY THE VILLAIN CORE]
[SO IT’S YOUR TASK TO GUIDE HIM EVERY TIME TO PREVENT HIM FROM FULLY FALLING INTO THE VILLAIN CORE ENERGY]
June gasped at the information presented before him. He knew this was about to get worse, and it simply kept getting worse.
He couldn’t let that happen. That would mean Nyx falling into the path of the villain, which ultimately led to his doom.
June had taken it upon himself to save him from this fate and give him a happy ending. And this was his greatest obstacle against that goal.
It had June wondering if he had made a mistake by activating that side of him.
But if he hadn’t, it would mean Nyx would die without ever getting that happy ending. So what actually was the right way to save the villain from his fate?
June sighed as he slowly nodded. "Okay... I’ll find and save him..." he muttered.
[FOLLOW THE DIRECTION OF THE BURNING GOLDEN SUN TO FIND HIM]
[GOOD LUCK]
June watched the system disappear into dust as he stared up at the burning golden sun. It was so bright that he had to cover his face with a hand.
He sighed. "I’ll come for you... wait for me..."
He turned to the others, who were still trying to figure out a way forward.
Then he said to them, "I have a solution."
They all stared at him curiously.
"You do? What is it?" Ryan inquired.
June turned to the sun again. "Let’s follow the sun. We should be able to find him if we do... Trust me," he explained.
Ryan slowly nodded without question. "Okay. Let’s do that."
Simon and Kael nodded, their arms folded.
"Okay, sure. Let’s go," Kael said.
While stepping across the hot desert sand, they struggled to move forward and find their way through the endless desert.
But it didn’t take a minute into their journey before they felt something.
They paused as Ryan looked around. "Did anyone feel that too?"
Simon looked around. "I did..."
June paused as he looked around. He didn’t feel anything.
"What’s that...?"
The atmosphere grew eerier as they all looked around.
And then came a sound.
A monster’s shriek.
The sound was close to them!
Kael looked around. "I heard that..."
Simon nodded. "Me too. The sound of a monster’s shriek... and it’s closer than we thought." He looked around cautiously.
Ryan adjusted himself. "I guess we got some company..."
"..." June blinked as he slowly reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone.
The sound came again from his phone.
It was the sound of a notification alarm.
And his alarm sound happened to be that of a monster shrieking.
"..."
"That was your phone...?" Ryan stared at him, completely speechless.
June nodded. "Yes. My alarm sound. I had set an alarm for a manicure session today..." He stared down at his phone. "I guess I won’t make it."
He scrolled through his phone before adding, "And it seems there’s strangely a connection in this anomaly dungeon. I can receive messages too."
"..." The other three stared at him, speechless.
"Why would you use a monster’s shriek as your alarm...?" Kael didn’t even know what ordinary response to give to that.
June stared at him. "When you work at a corporate office and need a quick nap after hours of work, you’ll certainly understand why you need a monster to wake you up. Oversleep and you’re done for."
He continued going through his phone as the three stared at each other, completely speechless.
Ryan shook his head. "Let’s continue..."
Just as they turned to continue moving, they heard another sound.
This time, it was the sound of the ground vibrating.
They paused and stared at June again.
"What’s that now? Sound of your bank alert?"
June blinked as he stared down at his feet. He could feel the ground vibrating this time.
"I wish..."
