Immediately, Nyx’s eyes flashed open, golden light consuming them as his energy violently spread through the atmosphere.

It was subtle at first, yet carried a powerful punch of energy. Golden light blasted through the atmosphere and sent a sharp wave through the room, destroying everything in its path while sending everyone nearby flying.

Bottles came crashing down, liquids spilled, building installments came crumbling down, and the machine broke apart in endless sparks.

June held a hand against his face to protect himself, but he ended up flying backward and crashing against the floor.

Ryan and Syll were swept off their feet, crashing against the wall alongside Kael. Mr. Kevin didn’t survive either. He was also sent flying.

As the destruction echoed through the atmosphere for a while, they slowly began getting up from where they had fallen.

At that moment, Simon and Grey rushed into the room after hearing the massive sound of destruction.

Grey rushed to help Syll and Ryan up while Simon went to help June.

As the chaos cleared, June sat up with Simon’s help, and they all stared at Nyx, who was right before them.

Nyx had broken free from the bed he was bound to. He sat there on the bed, staring down at them. His eyes were completely golden and glowing, making it hard to tell who exactly he was looking at.

"Nyx...?" June called in a soft and gentle tone as he slowly got to his feet. "Are you okay...?"

Nyx said nothing as they stared at him. It was as though he didn’t even recognize them, and so he simply sat there, staring at them.

"Do you think he’s okay now...?" Simon asked as June shook his head.

At that moment, Mr. Kevin struggled to his feet with a smile. "That’s my creation..." He smiled as he slowly approached. "My creation has finally taken shape!"

He let out a sharp laugh before instantly running toward Nyx.

Before June and the rest could stop him, Mr. Kevin had already run past them and approached Nyx.

"You belong to me now!" Mr. Kevin claimed happily as he made his way toward Nyx.

But as he pulled close to Nyx, he suddenly found himself pausing midair.

"...."

It was as though something was holding him firmly in the air. Mr. Kevin couldn’t move, no matter how much he struggled, and he slowly found himself floating helplessly before Nyx.

"What’s... What’s this...?" Mr. Kevin turned and stared at Nyx. He struggled to move while floating in the air as Nyx sat there, staring straight at him. "What the hell are you doing?"

Nyx didn’t respond.

He simply stretched out his hand, and Mr. Kevin flew toward him like a magnet, landing directly in his grip. Nyx firmly grabbed him by the neck.

Everyone was now on their feet, staring at the scene and watching as Nyx gripped Mr. Kevin so tightly that he might as well die at any moment.

They didn’t move. They simply watched curiously.

"What are you...?" Mr. Kevin struggled to breathe, but Nyx held him firmly while staring at him with those emotionless eyes.

There was no doubt that those eyes could kill him without a second thought.

"Let me go! You monster...!" Mr. Kevin snapped. "I’m... I’m your master! You can’t do this to me!"

While he struggled and kicked, Nyx stared at him with cold golden eyes. Then, Nyx slowly leaned in with a malicious smirk.

"You want a dungeon so badly, right...?" Nyx scoffed. "Sure, I’ll give you one. Tailored just as a gift for you."

Then he said in a chilling, whispery tone, "Enjoy."

Mr. Kevin felt shivers run down his spine as he stared into those monstrous eyes.

And just then, a golden portal tore open right behind Nyx.

Chaos instantly broke into the atmosphere. Strong winds pulled everything around the lab straight into its abyss while Nyx sat comfortably before the portal, still holding onto Mr. Kevin.

Fear sparked across Mr. Kevin’s face at the sight of the portal. He struggled to set himself free, kicking and screaming at Nyx.

"Let me go now! Hey! Let me go!" he snapped, but to no avail. He couldn’t set himself free at all.

June and the rest were behind them, struggling to keep themselves from being swallowed by the harsh pull of the portal.

But then, Nyx effortlessly dived backward with Mr. Kevin in his grip, the two of them falling straight into the portal as it swallowed them.

As they fell in, Mr. Kevin’s loud scream echoed through the room until it disappeared into thin air.

The portal was still open and strong, but June could feel its essence fading soon. Without hesitation, he rushed forward and dived straight into the portal.

He wasn’t letting Nyx go into a dungeon alone.

"June...!" Simon called after him, but June was already through the portal.

Almost immediately, Ryan took off as well. He jumped and dived straight into the dungeon. He wasn’t letting June go in alone either.

Kael wasn’t really thinking. He couldn’t stay there without Ryan, especially since Ryan was the one who could help him with his power.

And so, without much thought, he too dived straight through the portal and into the dungeon.

With him gone, Simon closed his eyes, shook his head, and dived straight toward the portal. It was already closing, but he was lucky enough to make it through before the dungeon sealed shut.

Silence soon consumed the atmosphere as almost everyone disappeared into the dungeon.

Syll and Grey knelt there on the floor, staring in silence at the spot where the portal had appeared and consumed almost everyone.

The two of them remained quiet for a moment. They slowly turned and stared at each other before turning back toward the scene.

"Kids..." Grey gasped.

"So rash," Syll concluded as they suddenly heard a sound coming from a distance.

The two of them slowly turned to see what the sound was.
