Zhao Guangran was stunned to see Pingping’s trembling little hand pick up the roast meat and stuff it into his mouth.

"He, he..."

"He washed his hands," Zhao Xuran was truly calm.

Back when they knew they’d washed their hands, he saw it with his own eyes. When they heard it was mealtime, these two kids got particularly excited and insisted on washing their hands.

Whether other people’s kids are this clever, Zhao Guangran didn’t know, but he could certainly see that his own two kids were quite smart. But there probably weren’t many who were smarter than them.

Zhao Guangran finally understood why his own parents were so totally biased, ignoring even the twins, and certainly ignoring their prideful Zhao Xuran.

He couldn’t help but reach out and touch Pingping’s head, "Good job."

He truly was his nephew, so strong and impressive, not even one year old yet, and already booted the twins who had hogged affection for years.

That was a goal Zhao Guangran had thought about for a long time, and never achieved. How could he not be delighted?

For Zhao Guangran, he constantly looked forward to his parents not fixating on the twins anymore. As for who they’d care about later, Zhao Guangran said he didn’t mind.

Zhao Xuran was about to remind him when he saw his son unhappily wipe his hand on Zhao Guangran’s clothes.

"Oh, this is my newly bought Armani sweater."

"This is really expensive; I just wore it."

Looking at the ten chubby little handprints on his white sweater, Zhao Guangran felt like crying.

Although the small chubby hands made the kid feel incredibly cute, the clothes were ruined.

No matter how much Zhao Guangran loved to show off or wanted to flaunt his wealth, he wouldn’t be this wasteful.

"Bro, what do you think we should do?" Can’t blame the little one; they don’t understand, but their dad is here, right?

This matter calls for an explanation, "Your son did a great job."

"You provoked Pingping first, otherwise he wouldn’t do this to you." Zhao Xuran certainly wouldn’t pay up; it was clearly someone’s dumb fault.

"Is this my fault now?" Zhao Guangran disagreed, feeling quite upset.

Gong Ruini cut the freshly grilled steak into small pieces, specially made for the two kids, with very little seasoning. To be honest, she didn’t understand how they had so few teeth yet demanded to eat meat.

She could only say it was lucky they had some money, or else they’d certainly be unable to afford the meals.

"You’re giving them so much meat, is that okay?" Zhao Guangran thought it was just a fleeting moment or that the kids snuck meat when adults weren’t looking.

But now it seemed they genuinely liked meat; how old were they really?

"No problem, just watch the amount." After dividing the meat, Gong Ruini poked Pingping’s nose, "That’s it, no more."

"Don’t snatch your sister’s." She didn’t want to deny Pingping, but worried he’d overeat and upset his stomach.

After swallowing the meat in his mouth and staring at the meat on the plate for a long time, Pingping gestured expressively, babbling something.

"What’s this?"

"He thinks it’s not enough," Zhao Xuran remained calm, "From a veggie puree eater, once he tasted meat, he really fell for it."

Oh, really? By adult standards, this amount of meat was small, not enough for two bites, but how were Pingping and the others so young and already demanding so much meat?

"No tummy troubles?" Zhao Guangran continued to ask, not out of fear, but if the kids got diarrhea after eating, he couldn’t escape.

"Nope." Zhao Xuran was composed, "Your nephew has a strong stomach."

"He doesn’t even want the veggie puree anymore, longing to eat what I eat," Zhao Xuran was truly worried.

Their appetites were amazing for under one-year-olds, but given Pingping’s physique, it seemed everything consumed was absorbed, or he wouldn’t have grown so much.

"Oh, bro, do you think Pingping could eat out given such an appetite?" Hmph, your son messed up my clothes, why should we pay for your meal?

Before compensating for our loss, don’t even think about this meal.

"Why can’t we? If he acts out, I’ll make him exercise." Zhao Xuran spoke fiercely.

Make him exercise? What exercise could a little kid do, Zhao Guangran wondered. Crawl perhaps?

Weren’t kids this young truly adept at crawling? Was this punishment?

"Have him stand facing the wall for ten minutes," Zhao Xuran calmly suggested a light punishment.

Facing the wall in thought? For a child this young, does he understand reflection or can he stand that long?

Even though the little kid was trying to stand up, he really couldn’t stand for long.

"Hence only ten minutes, once he’s older, the punishment will be increased," Zhao Xuran answered Zhao Guangran’s sympathetic gaze by saying they should learn their lesson.

"Um..." Will anything happen? For such a young child to stand this long, isn’t it easy for things to go wrong?

Zhao Guangran started wondering if he should seize the moment to report to their parents. This was a good opportunity.

If he let the parents know someone was mistreating their precious grandson, they’d absolutely reward him; Zhao Guangran envisioned his pleasure.

"What could happen? Standing for ten minutes is absolutely fine. If mom hadn’t declared not to extend the time before his first birthday, I think twenty minutes would be fine," Zhao Xuran spoke without concern.

Oh, really? Zhao Guangran was taken aback; even their parents knew? Weren’t they fond of pampering Pingping, how could they watch Zhao Xuran punish him?

Fine, Zhao Guangran could only silently apologize to his nephew, not because he didn’t want to help, but because even the biggest support wasn’t on his side.

Of course, Zhao Xuran knew his little brother wanted to betray him, but what did it matter if the family knew? Surely a father could educate his son?

"Guangran, I want to tell you, you’re also old enough, even if Pingping is a child, you shouldn’t directly touch his head."

"Pingping will be unhappy. You should be grateful your clothes today weren’t expensive, otherwise..." Zhao Xuran wanted to remind him.

Ah, what does this mean? Zhao Guangran initially thought Pingping was upset by his dirty hand, intentionally pulling off this move, though his brother had mentioned it, he thought it was reluctance to pay.

But now with his brother repeatedly bringing it up, could it be something more? Zhao Guangran was dumbfounded.

Was he someone who deceived? Zhao Xuran was black-faced. Forget it, "Of course not, look at everyone; Pingping only targeted your clothes."

"It was retaliation for bullying."

Oh, bullying? "Clearly you and sister-in-law touched his head." That was why he intervened.

Trying to compete with this move? "What am I and Ni Zi to him; what are you?"

Not understanding this basic principle, trying to debate it; his little brother must be muddled from too much time in the United Kingdom.
