Ascension Of The Blood Supreme
Chapter 274. The End Of The Order 4
Eldorath Empire.
Frontlines.
Base C322.
Deepsea’s Villa.
A meeting was happening at the moment. In the meeting room, Vanum Deepsea, Leonis Eldorath, and the three other admirals of the Base C322, who were members of the Order, were currently seated in a living room.
They had pensive expressions on their faces.
Several hours ago, large numbers of the members of the Order they knew had their biological signals suddenly go off.
They didn’t understand what was happening.
They had contacted several members of the Order they knew, too, across several empires across Endra. But they could not reach them, too.
Something was wrong.
"Let’s try to contact HQ," Deepsea thought.
Leonis and everyone nodded.
Leonis tried to contact HQ.
However, the call couldn’t go through.
"What the hell is going on?" he said as an expression of fear appeared on his face.
"What’s up?"
"Don’t tell me HQ is currently unreachable?"
"How is this even possible?"
Everyone was shocked and confused.
First, the members of the Order they knew could not be reached. Some of them had their biological signals off.
And now... HQ was unreadable.
Could it be that ...
"That’s not possible. How can that happen?"
"That’s right. No one can identify the location of HQ."
"Even if they could, no one can exterminate the Order with our power."
"Indeed. How could they even find information on us in the first place?"
"This whole situation is extremely confusing!"
---
"What the hell is that?"
"That’s the latest model of the Fighter Jet made by the Global Artifact Engineers Association."
"Only legendary rank 4 warriors can use them!"
"What sort of Excellency is coming here this time?"
The higher-ups of the base were shocked when they saw the fighter jet.
"Is it headed towards Admiral Deepsea’s villa?"
"Really?"
"Yeah. Wait... a few minutes ago, I saw a jet with the sigil of the royal family headed there!"
"It could be that the emperor is meeting the admiral. After all, they are known to be good friends!"
"Yeah."
"Quick, let’s go take a look. I have a feeling this is not so simple. First the emperor, Deepsea, and now, a fighter jet possibly belonging to a legendary rank 4 warrior shows up?"
Suddenly, several higher-ups of the base and normal operatives rushed towards Admiral Deepsea’s villa.
Some even took out their phones to record whatever was about to unfold.
Some of them even started live streams.
Under their collective gazes, two people stepped out of the private fighter jet.
One of them waved his hand. The fighter jet disappeared into his storage bag. The storage bag disappeared.
"Wait... I recognise that person... Is that... the Grand Marshal?"
"Yes... that’s Grand Marshal Armstrong Lee!"
"He seems extremely pissed. The expression in his eyes is something else!"
"Has Admiral Deepsea done something stupid?"
"If he has misbehaved or broken military rules, I am afraid that not even Emperor Leonis can help him this time!"
"That’s right. So what if Leonis Eldorath is the emperor of the Eldorath Empire? Excellency Armstrong Lee is the third strongest person on the planet, and he is a legendary rank 4 warrior. He can kill the emperor with just a single attack!"
"It’s too late to judge. It could be that the Grand Marshal is simply here to have a normal meeting with the admiral."
"Look at the person with him... does he not look familiar?"
"Brown hair... black eyes... that ordinary appearance, apart from the handsome physique and face... crimson wings on his back... it’s Aiden Vhorn!"
"The Ghost Strategist?"
"The Crimson Reaper?"
"The Lodgekeeper?"
"Ranked 4999 on the Tyrant Fate Rankings?"
"The Madman whose name is so feared that his enemies can kill themselves in fear of him without him even making an appearance?"
"What is he doing here?"
"Wait... he is the disciple of Armstrong Lee. A while back, he had an altercation with Deepsea and the three other admirals of the base. Don’t tell me he’s here for revenge?"
"What?"
"You don’t know of this? Were you hiding under a rock? Aiden Vhorn refused to be their disciple. Because of that, they blacklisted him and sent him on hell difficulty missions. Everyone thought Aiden Vhorn had truncated his path. After all, he had offended admirals. When he disappeared in Zone Zero, many sighed that he was dead and his arrogance had been his downfall."
"Yes. That’s true. However, some time later, he suddenly emerged in the Western Continent as Excellency Armstrong Lee’s disciple. At that moment, all those who thought he was arrogant and made a bad decision by refusing to accept the admirals as his masters shut up. Instead, they started praising him for foresight. Not only did he reject the admirals and use Zone Zero to slip away from their oppression, he even managed to make a name for himself across the Kahra Desert, earned himself the name, The Lodgekeeper, entered the Western Continent, and became the Excellency’s disciple."
"True... I never thought Aiden Vhorn would return for revenge."
As conversations spread among the crowd and the netizens watching this from across the empire, across Endra and the Eldorath Empire Frontlines, Grand Marshal Armstrong Lee released a bit of his aura and directed it towards the villa of Deepsea.
He was already aware of what Deepsea, Leonis, and company had done to Aiden in the past after reading the files on the Order. He naturally understood why Aiden personally wanted to eliminate them. Aiden was someone who always finished what his enemies started. It was never out of vengefulness. It was simply clinical efficiency.
"Vanum Deepsea, Leonis Eldorath, and the other admirals of HQ Base C322, stop hiding and come out at once. To think you were all shameless zealots who are members of the Paranormal Liberation Order, and you intended to put an end to my disciple on the orders of your superiors because you considered him a threat!"
The moment Armstrong spoke, several streaks of flames spiraled across his figure and transformed into flame ropes.
The flame ropes crushed through the glass windows of the villa.
A few moments later, several screams emerged as five people struggled to escape free. They were bound in the flame ropes and yanked out of the villa through the windows.
Expressions of puzzlement were on their faces.
Everyone watching, from the audience to netizens, were shocked.
"What did the Excellency just say?"
"Leonis Eldorath, Vanum Deepsea, and those three admirals are members of the Order?"
"So that’s why Vanum Deepsea and the three other admirals blacklisted Aiden Vhorn and sent him on dangerous missions when he was in the empire military?"
"To think even Emperor Leonis Eldorath, who always projected a benevolent demeanor, would be one of the members of the Order. Just how deep do the waters of this organization run?"
"They saw him as some kind of threat and wanted to get rid of him?"
"How insolent! To think that was their intention!"
"But... the Grand Marshal cannot just get rid of them without proof, right?"
Discussions broke out online and among the crowd gathered across the Frontlines, watching the scene.
"Your Excellency, these accusations need to be backed by proof," Leonis said as he struggled in the flame ropes. "Even if you are a legendary rank 4 warrior, you can’t just eliminate us based on assumptions, right?"
"That’s right. Excellency, we are being set up."
"Please don’t do this. Aiden Vhorn wants us dead because we taught him a few lessons in the past."
Deepsea and the others chimed in. Just like Leonis, they didn’t care about their lives, neither were they scared of death. They just didn’t want to compromise the Salvation Project. If they admitted that they were members of the Order, it wouldn’t be good. Even if they could not spill the secrets of the organization because of the detonative implants in them, they still didn’t want to take any risks and let the public find out about them. As long as Armstrong and Aiden were acting on rumors and not proof, they could shift public opinion to their side.
"You want proof, huh?" Armstrong replied as Aiden floated calmly close to him, flapping his wings.
"Looks like there’s no need for a press conference later." Armstrong Lee contacted the other legendary rank 4 warriors and told them to release the files of the Order across every media platform and every inbox of every citizen on the planet. Also, there were videos of the extermination operation of the Order’s headquarters, and that of their members across Endra included.
"Mr Vhorn here found out everything about the Order." Under the gaze of all Endra, Armstrong spoke. "Locations, meetings between members, backgrounds, members, HQ coordinates we’ve been trying to find for many years. Aiden Vhorn found them all. No one knows how he did it. But he did. And as you’ve all gone through the files and watched the videos of the extermination operation, we found the headquarters, and under Aiden’s tactical guidance, the legendary rank 4 warriors who were not members of the Order used the information Aiden Vhorn provided to destroy their headquarters using the element of surprise. Edrissa Vann and Edwin Marr were the ones behind this fanatic Organisation. As we speak now, all their members across the planet, and in their HQ, including Edrissa Vann and Edwin Marr, are dead. Only these five people here are still alive."
The citizens of Endra could not deny what Armstrong was saying. From the ridiculousness of Aiden finding out everything about the Order mysteriously, to every detail about all their members, every meeting, every terrorist act and how they were planned, every conversation between Marr and Vann, and the premium ranked members, every terrifying meeting concerning the terrifying Salvation Project, and the intervention of the International Union that had stopped the Order before they could carry out their wicked plan..
The proof was before them. The files, the facts. Everything.
Comments and conversations spread everywhere.
"I can’t believe this... so it’s all true!"
"Aiden Vhorn really is an anomaly. He actually found out everything about the Order. Although he did not actively fight in their destruction, he’s technically the reason why the Order has been eliminated!"
"That’s right. His contribution dwarfs even that of the International Union."
"Seriously. These Order fanatics really thought destroying the world was the solution to the world’s problems? And they wanted to use thousands of legendary rank 4 chaotic beasts to do that? Also, they had hundreds of legendary rank 4 warriors? Had their plan been allowed to mature to fruition, it would have really caused a lot of trouble! No one could have been able to stop them. Aiden Vhorn has really saved us all!"
"It’s so good they are gone now! Those fuckers killed my wife and kids through a terrorist attack!"
"To think Edwin Marr and Edrissa Vann were behind them all this while. This is too shocking. I looked up to them."
"They really outsmarted us all."
"So the Order is really gone?"
"Endra has entered a new Era."
The five remaining members of the Order were shocked.
"Do you still want proof?" Armstrong said as he looked at the five members struggling in his flame ropes.
"We only wanted to bring peace to the world!"
"Why why why why! Why did you have to stand in our way, Aiden Vhorn!"
"Aiden Vhorn! This world is sick and needs peace! The Order was the only solution. Why did you have to stand in our way?"
The five members cried with sorrowful fanatism in their eyes.
They were not afraid to die. They just felt very sad. So sad that the world wouldn’t be saved.
"No hard feelings." Under the gazes of multitudes on the planet, Aiden spoke. "You have your ideals and philosophies, I’m not one to judge you for that. But, no one gets to decide whether me, and the few people I care about, live or die."
Everyone watching understood that Aiden Vhorn did not intervene because he was a hero. He did so because the Order’s ideals threatened the lives of him and the few people he cared about.
However, people still thought that it didn’t change the fact that he played the biggest role in destroying the Order. Many looked at him with admiration, fear, and awe.
Looks of realization flashed the eyes of Leonis, Deepsea, and the other three remaining members of the Order.
"So... you went against us because of a few people you care about and yourself?... Hah..."
"How unfortunate for us... if only you were not born... Endra would have been saved..."
As they spoke, tears fell out of their eyes.
Everyone watching was no longer shocked about the deep fanaticism of the members of the Order. They had seen the files and watched everything. These guys were crazy.
Armstrong’s flame ropes around the five members blazed and burned their figures into ashes.
They didn’t even know how they died.
"From today, the Paranormal Liberation Order has been completely eliminated from Endra!"
Armstrong declared!
