Ascension Of The Blood Supreme

Chapter 273. The End Of The Order 3

Affinities ranging from gravity, light, wind, fire, earth, sound, wood, metal, among others, flashed around the figures of the legendary rank 4 warriors.

Aiden felt an extremely terrifying feeling encumber him.

Legendary rank 4 warriors were indeed terrifying.

Several terrifying auras spread across the place.

Attacks were unleashed.

Fire balls which evaporated the surrounding sea water.

Lightning swords which sent sparks everywhere.

Gravity bells which caused the gravity to increase to terrifying levels.

Wooden constructs which crossed distances in moments.

Metal balls which dwarfed the ocean depths.

Among others.

No words were spoken.

Just the strongest attacks the legendary rank 4 warriors could muster.

Aiden moved further away from them before they launched their attacks. Or else, he wouldn’t have even known how he would have died.

The attacks crushed into the large submarine of the Paranormal Liberation Order.

For a moment, nothing happened.

Then, the submarine quaked. It could not bear the weight of the attacks.

[Threat alert! Threat alert! Incoming attacks detected! Incoming...]

Everywhere in the submarine, including where the premium ranked members were, this announcement rang across the place.

In the meeting room, Edwin Marr shouted.

"Show me what’s happening out there!"

Someone tapped on the satellite button.

A large hologram appeared in the room.

Several attacks of different shapes, sizes, and affinities were headed their way at an extremely terrifying speed.

Edwin Marr, Edrissa Van, the Analyser, and everyone could not understand what was happening.

How had their base of operations been discovered?

There was no way any member of the Order could tell anyone about this place even if they wanted to. And, the International Union had no chance of discovering them.

No matter how much they racked their brains, it didn’t add up.

Then, the feed pulled forward. About 60 people floated in the ocean.

Edwin, Edrissa, and everyone recognised them.

Armstrong. Rodrigo. Paula. And the other legendary rank 4 warriors who were not part of the Order.

How.... How did they discover this place?

Then, someone pointed beyond them with shaky hands.

There he stood, behind them, far away...

Brown hair... crimson eyes. In a crimson armor.

His eyes were calm.

"Didn’t you say he was dead????"

Edrissa shouted.

The analyser was completely shocked.

She could not process what was happening.

So... it was because he had become too much of a threat to eliminate?

But was he not still a beginner rank 3 warrior?

"We need to head out and kill them now!" Edwin shouted.

The legendary rank 4 warriors equipped their battlesuits, about to head out of the submarine.

"Release the legendary rank 4 chaotic beasts directly out of their cells into the ocean. If these people don’t die today, we will be exposed before we initiate the plan," Edrissa shouted.

Suddenly, the Analyser sighed.

"It’s no use. We are done for. I don’t know how Aiden Vhorn did it. But he has cornered us from all angles.

Although I can’t run a computation on Aiden Vhorn, I just ran a computation concerning who could have leaked our location. The probability that it’s him is 100 percent. Plus, I also run a computation on whether or not we will come out of this alive."

The analyser spoke with calm detachment.

Her only sorrow was that they could not save Endra through the salvation project.

"The probability that we will die is 100 percent. According to my computation, it’s 100 percent possible that in the next 3 seconds, their attacks will reach us, and we will all die. We can’t retaliate. The orders you have also given about the legendary rank 4 chaotic beasts to be released into the ocean cannot be delivered. Aiden Vhorn must have mysteriously found out information about everything concerning us, and he decided to use the element of surprise to employ the help of the International Union to get rid of us. He must have known about the Salvation project to have acted this fast. Had we not underestimated him this much, he would not have been able to attack us with 60 legendary rank 4 warriors. But because we are unprepared, there’s nothing we can do. We are compromised!"

As the analyser spoke, sorrow appeared on the faces of everyone.

"We just wanted to save Endra!"

"Why why why why why!"

"Why can’t Endra have peace! Why!"

"Why did it have to end this way!"

"We are willing to give our lives for the Salvation project. That all Endra will rest in death forever and have peace forever! But why didn’t things go our way!"

The fanatics bellowed.

"Sir... the life signatures of about 76 percent of our high ranked, medium and normal ranked members have gone off!"

"Aiden Vhorn and Armstrong Lee must have ambushed them and killed them!"

"How....how how how..."

Tears streaked down the eyes of many of them. They believed it was pitiful that the Order would not be able to save Endra.

Aiden Vhorn had ruined everything!

Edwin and Edrissa held hands and closed their eyes as tears fell down their eyes.

"We just wanted to end suffering...."

These were their last thoughts before the attacks of Armstrong and the others swallowed the submarine whole before they could even act.

Screams of death of humans and chaotic beasts reverberated throughout the submarine before it exploded into chunks of metal. Every resource in the submarine including their bioengineered chips had had burnt into ashes. Corpses of legendary rank 4 warriors, scientists, and thousands of legendary rank 4 chaotic beasts floated in the ocean. Some had, however, been turned completely into ashes and nothing of them remained.

3 seconds. That was all it took for the powerhouses of the Paranormal Liberation Order to be destroyed. They had not perished because they were weaker than their enemies.

They had underestimated Aiden Vhorn. Aiden didn’t need to be more powerful than someone to destroy them.

He only needed to have a way to deal with a threat without compromising his autonomous nature and interests.

Aiden Vhorn had used tactical information to seek the aid of the International Union HQ to destroy the HQ of the Paranormal Liberation Order.

Armstrong Lee and everyone sighed deeply in relief.

They could not believe what they were seeing.

The Order was really gone!

The terrorist madmen who had terrified Endra for years had fallen.

They stared at the corpses of Edrissa Van, Edwin Marr, and several people they used to know in the International Union and sighed.

Armstrong’s eyes were cold. There was no emotion in them.

For years, he had called them his friends. And yet.. They were madmen who wanted to put an end to human civilization. They had deceived the world. Many saw Edrissa and Edwin as a symbol of hope. And yet, they had terrorised the world with their organization and their twisted ideals.

He didn’t feel any remorse for them.

Every other legendary rank 4 warrior there also felt the same way about them.

As for Aiden, he had just absorbed half of the blood essence of the thousands of legendary rank 4 chaotic beasts, the hundreds of corpses of the rank 4 warriors, and the scientists. Some were still remaining. But, he felt the accumulated blood essence within him resonate with each other. He had reached the accumulated blood essence to break through.

He felt a great surge of strength. His range of absorbing blood essence was now at 10km.

He absorbed the remaining blood essence of the corpses.

His range of vision, smell, and hearing increased.

The accumulated blood essence within his being resonated again. He had reached the amount of blood essence required for another breakthrough.

A great surge of strength flowed through him.

His range of absorbing blood essence was now at 20 kilometers.

And his power was now at the level of an advanced rank 3 warrior.

"It looks like the blood essence of the thousands of legendary rank 4 chaotic beasts played a larger role in these breakthroughs," Aiden thought.

"It will be more difficult to break through from here on. It will take longer," Aiden thought. But he was not perturbed. A step at a time.

As for Armstrong and the others, their affinities and their attacks disappeared. Their enemies were already dead.

As for the remaining members of the Order spread across the globe, the other members of the International Union were hunting them down.

They looked at Aiden.

"Have you broken through? You look sharper. Also your height.... You seem to be 1.9 meters tall now," Armstrong said.

"Oh...I didn’t notice. I’m now an advanced rank 3 warrior." When Aiden spoke, Armstrong and everyone could not believe what they were hearing. This person... was a freak!

"Anyway, I have a small request, Old man. I have some unfinished business in the Eldorath Empire military. Can you escort me?" Aiden said.

"Sure. Anything for my disciple," Armstrong said. He was in a very good mood since the Order was technically dealt with.

Aiden rolled his eyes.

Armstrong laughed, then looked at the other legendary rank 4 warriors.

"Guys. I have some things to assist Aiden with. When the other members of the International Union finish the clean up exercise, make arrangements for a press release and a press conference. Then we will release the news to the public!"

"Alright!"

"That’s fair!"

The legendary rank 4 warriors replied.

They looked at Aiden with glints of respect flashing through their eyes.

If he was a myth on Endra because of the Ghost Machination incident, he would now be worshipped after the news about his role in bringing the Order down was released by Armstrong to the public during the press conference.

But naturally, they knew that Aiden Vhorn was not a hero. Someone who could use two sects, each full of thousands of members as collateral to actually destroy two other sects, was not a heroic person. He was a clinical, ruthless pragmatist.

He must have participated in putting the Order down for the sake of his safety and that of his circle. After all, if the Order didn’t die, those he cared about wouldn’t be safe.

As these thoughts flashed through their minds, Aiden and Armstrong shot out of the ocean.

A private jet appeared. Aiden and Armstrong entered it. It flew into the sky and left trails of evening clouds behind.

It was headed towards the Eldorath Empire Military.
