Chapter 253. Silence Across Endra 1

Western Continent.

Somewhere across the western oceans.

Near the general headquarters of the International Union.

The sea was foggy.

The skies changed color occasionally and sea waves rose and fell. Heaven and earth shook.

Cataclysmic booms resounded across the place as three streaks of light clashed into three legendary Rank 4 sea creatures.

The sea creatures were extremely terrifying.

These legendary Rank 4 chaotic beasts were part of the 182 beast lords, according to Endra’s classification of the most terrifying legendary Rank 4 chaotic beasts on the planet.

Edrisa Vann, Armstrong Lee and Edwin Marr were currently engaged in a serious battle with them.

Edrisa Vann pointed her hand forward. A large bell formed from ice. It was very overbearing.

The ice bell spun and shot towards one of the beast lords which looked like a giant Godzilla.

The giant Godzilla brought its claws down. Extreme gravitational pressure trailed ahead of its hand and descended on the approaching ice bell.

Edwin Marr’s eyes turned dark. Several shadowy tendrils spiraled out of figure and manifested into a large human shadowy construct. The human shadowy construct brought its hand down on one of a dolphin looking chaotic beast. The dolphin looking chaotic beast formed a large water ball which blotted out the skies.

Armstrong Lee twirled his spear around.

Flames covered his figure completely.

Blue flames twirled out of his figure from multiple directions. The flames congregated into a very large fire ball which blotted out the skies.

He pointed the spear forward. The blue fire ball shot towards a large serpent with horns and blue scaly skin.

Lightning snaked across the figure of the snake.

The large scaly snake spiraled forward, turned into a streak of azure light and shot towards the approaching fire ball.

The giant Godzilla’s gravitational pressure trailed and clashed into Edrisa Vann’s ice bell.

The fire ball of Armstrong Lee clashed into the azure lightning snake.

The human shadowy construct of Edwin Marr crushed into a large water ball of the dolphin, full of water blades.

Silence ensued across the sea top.

The attacks tried to overcome each other.

Rings of explosions spread outwards, causing nearby mountains to scatter and get flattened.

Ocean waves rose like a tsunami and spread across the ocean top.

The three legendary Rank 4 warriors, the three strongest people on Endra, were however calm.

Glints of intelligence flashed through the eyes of the sentient legendary Rank 4 chaotic beasts.

Their attacks were overwhelmed by the attacks of the troublesome humans.

They turned around to retreat into the ocean.

However, the large fireball, the large ice bell and the large shadowy construct trailed after them and clashed into them.

The sea creatures screamed. The hand of the large shadowy construct grabbed the dolphin and squeezed it into meat paste.

The large fire ball clashed into the serpent and burnt it into ashes.

The ice bell hit the Godzilla and turned it into encased ice.

The sea turned silent.

Armstrong Lee, Edrisa Vann and Edwin Marr floated calmly on the ocean.

"We have defeated three of them. Seriously, these chaotic beasts are getting more riotous," Armstrong Lee said.

"Of course, it’s because we are starting to initiate our plan to save Endra through Eternal Sleep," Edwin Marr thought. "It will take more than the Order to accomplish this plan. This is why we are making chips to control thousands of legendary Rank 4 chaotic beasts. 108 beast lords? They are just a small part of the number we are making these chips to control. When all the artifacts are made, we will initiate the salvation project. It looks like these three chaotic beasts were able to resist the control of the chips temporarily. I need to contact the Analyser and the other chief scientist to fix this problem."

Edrisa shot Edwin a knowing look, an indication that she had a similar train of thought.

Armstrong had no idea that these two friends of his were actually the leaders of the Paranormal Liberation Order, an organisation the International Union was doing everything they could to identify and eliminate from the planet.

"Indeed. It seems we need to up our game," Edrisa replied to Armstrong with feigned concern on her face.

"We need more Rank 4 warriors to break into legendary Rank 4 to handle what is coming. The rest of the 182 beast lords are still alive. The number of legendary Rank 4 warriors the International Union has is less than the number of the remaining beast lords. Each of these legendary Rank 4 chaotic beasts command large hordes of Rank 4 chaotic beasts and below," Edwin Marr said with a feigned concerned sigh.

Armstrong couldn’t suspect anything. To him, these two were close allies who were equally concerned about the safety of Endra like him.

He replied, "We can only do our best and hope for the best. But I am certain that my four disciples will become legendary Rank 4 warriors. Especially the fourth one. Aiden Vhorn. He will become one quickly. That young man may give us a fighting chance. Also, with the trouble the Order is causing, we can only hope he joins the International Union to lessen our burden."

Glints of coldness flashed through Edrisa and Edwin’s eyes for a moment.

That kid was indeed troublesome.

The Order had sent several assassins after him. But he had managed to escape unscathed several times. He even killed the expert Rank 3 and legendary Rank 3 assassins sent after him recently when he was leaving the Iron Empire to the Serma Empire.

No wonder the Analyser deemed him a catastrophic threat to the salvation the Order wanted to bring to the Order. He was too difficult to kill.

"It looks like we need to send beginner Rank 4 assassins after him soon," Edrisa thought.

Edwin knew what his wife was thinking and agreed.

Armstrong didn’t know what they were thinking.

They simply nodded warmly to his words.

"About time we return to the International headquarters."

"Yeah."

"Sure. I need a shower."

Suddenly, their phones beeped.

They took it out.
