Chapter 254. Silence Across Endra 2

Western Continent.

Iron Empire.

Sauna City.

Sauna City University/Professorship Residential District.

Cosmo Adams and Pamela Ashira’s villa.

Evening time.

The twin moons showed their lights on all beneath them.

Several people were chilling and relaxing in the backyard as an upbeat pop music was playing across the place.

This group of people were Aiden’s loved ones.

The scent of barbecue spread across the place.

"Dinner is served," Luke said as he passed several plates containing barbecue around for everyone.

"So that’s the gist of what happened." Cosmo finally stopped talking.

Everyone looked at him and sighed.

"Damn. These secret sects are something else." Seraphina shook her head.

"Power is everything on Endra. People will use any reason to get rid of you for their ideals as long as they think they can kill you," Arica said. "It’s nothing personal."

"I agree with her," Cosmo said.

"We have to grow stronger so that Aiden isn’t the one always handling these kinds of situations," Chromium said.

"Hehhehe," Candice laughed.

Everyone looked at her.

"Why are you laughing?" Desmonda asked a question that was on everyone’s mind.

"She’s obviously realised that we have developed unwavering trust in Aiden’s abilities. He literally told Cosmo that by the time he returns the Adams and the Nova Secret Sects wouldn’t exist and we are literally acting like something like that isn’t absurd," Eleanor said.

"That simply goes a long way to describe how terrifying Aiden is. He never ventures into something without pure calculations. He’s like a machine when it comes to tactics and scheming. He considers contingencies, and countermeasures all the time. Even when an opponent is stronger, they can’t always assume they are invincible when it comes to him," Asmodeus added.

"I remember when we entered a pocket world with him in the Eldorath Empire," Pamela said. "Aiden literally carried the whole exposition team throughout the expedition. He wasn’t the strongest. But his tactical and command abilities were like that of a veteran. He’s a natural," Luke said.

"That’s true. The guy even instigated a conflict between two large families in Hessington State of the Eldorath Empire. Up to now, the general public doesn’t even know he’s the one behind that incident," Candice added.

"I remember that incident very well," Asmodeus said.

"Wait... was it that incident which was on the news? About a guy who killed his fiance and killed himself, and because of that, their two families wiped out each other?" Sanderson said.

"You mean Aiden was behind that?" Brandy shook her head.

"He was."

"We have been captains of industry for several years. We have seen our fair share of political games, business wars and schemings. But, Aiden is seriously a natural. Just how terrifying are his scheming abilities?" Marilyn added as she took a bite of the meat on her place. "Anyway this meat is very good Luke."

"Thanks," Luke replied.

"Yeah it’s great."

"This guy is a natural chef."

"But seriously... are we all sure Aiden is not some old cultivator posing as a young man?" Ronan said.

"Old man, what bullshit are you spouting?" Desmonda said. "You think I’m in love with a grandpa?"

"Pfft... I didn’t mean it like that.." Ronan raised his hands innocently.

Why was this young lady so scary?

"Hehe."

"Desmonda’s switch. Never tell her an anime she enjoyed, a game she enjoyed playing is bad, or tell her Aiden is an old man," Paula said.

"Aunt Paula... you..."

"Shut up Desmonda... she’s right!"

"Hehe..."

The group continued to banter.

Suddenly, Cosmo became silent.

"Guys..."

Everyone turned to look at him.

"Take out your phones and open Riktok right now!!"

Cosmo said with shock on his face.

"Aiden called me a few hours ago asking about something... to think... this guy is seriously on another level... I never doubted him but seeing it is just... something else... open it now." Cosmo sat down, eyes glued to the video.

"Damn it, my phone has frozen due to too many notifications."

"Me too."

"Then gather around me," Cosmo said.

Everyone crowded him. All pairs of eyes were on his phone.

[Shocking news across Endra. The Halberd Secret Sect and the Adams Secret Sect clashes over an unresolved feud concerning Adams Vormor’s late son and daughter in law]

[Shocking news!! The Nova Secret Sect and the Ninehail Secret Sect clash in a fullscale war over an unresolved 300 years feud!!!]

They group proceeded to watch the live streams.

This...

How the hell was this possible...

It hadn’t even been 48 hours since he arrived in the Serma Empire right?

And he had caused a war between four secret sects..

"So this was what he meant when he said two other sects would become collateral. In order for it to work, the Nova Secret Sect and the Adams Secret Sect couldn’t be instigated against one another, or it would be suspicious and they would think someone is trying to manipulate them into going to war with each other," Arica said.

Everyone nodded.

"To pull off something like this, he had to anticipate the thought process and behavioral patterns of the enemy. To think he’d be able to pull off a massive multi sect war including legendary rank 4 warriors like that..."

Cosmo’s phone could play parallel videos at the same time..

The group kept watching the two Livestream videos.

Adams Vormor and Halberd clashed. Their sect members also clashed after they exchanged a few words laced with insults and anger.

Cosmo watched everything calmly. When he saw the head of his sister in Halberd’s hand, he didn’t even flinch. Everyone nodded in acknowledgement. He was not the kind to be softhearted on enemies. Someone else may have gone soft on seeing his dead sister, even when she had wanted to kill him.

Very soon, the members of the Adams and Halberd Secret Sect wiped each other out.

Because of their determination and hatred to kill each other, they didn’t even care. Neither was willing to give up unless the other side was completely eliminated.

Only Halberd and Adams Vormor were still clashing in the air.

Below them were destroyed regions of the Adams Secret Sect, bodies, and blood strewn everywhere.

Several watching the streams felt chills crawl up their spines.

On the side of the Nova Secret Sect and the Ninehail Secret Sect, Brightwell, Cosmo’s ex fiance, and every other sect member, was dead.

Cosmo didn’t even flinch when he saw her dead body impaled on a spear.

Ninehail’s sect members were also dead.

The two sides had engaged in a brutal war. Neither wanted to back down unless the other side was gone. Because of that, no one cared about losing men. Each was determined to fight to the death.

Corpses were littered everywhere and blood flowed ceaselessly as several places were destroyed.

The only two people who were alive were Deathstrokia and Ninehail.

Aiden watched the stream on his phone.

"The members of each sect have wiped the other out. Adams Vormor and Halberd are on their last legs. It’s time to make an open appearance there. By the time I’m done with them, Ninehail and Deathstrokia will be almost finished, then I will head there." Aiden stood up in thought.

Crimson wings formed from blobs of blood on his back.

The four young people seated across him on the bench widened their eyes when they looked at him fly off.

Crimson eyes. Crimson wings... brown hair..

"It’s him... Aiden... Vhorn..."

"He was the one..?"

"He was that ordinary young man eating noodles?"

"Now that I look at him, he looks no different from the person we see on TV... it’s just that his demeanor is so ordinary on a regular day."

"It’s a good thing we didn’t say anything bad about him."

"Right... he’s a madman after all.."

The group of four sighed as chills crawled up their spines.
