Chapter 1176 -1157: Incineroar and Meowscarada, Inescapable Prison

“Roar!”

The sound of the tiger’s roar was deafening, causing Nekomamushi’s actions to pause, and a portion of the strength in his arm inexplicably disappeared.

The combination of loud roaring and innate intimidation greatly affects the enemy’s attacks. Under the threat of the tiger’s roar and that terrifying gaze, Nekomamushi actually felt fear creeping in.

“Just a little brat…”

Compared to just now, Wolf’s size expanded by two full circles. His original arms transformed into muscular strength akin to a strongman, and the size gap between him and Nekomamushi narrowed significantly.

Compared to the initial Litten, Wolf’s capability had lost its former cuteness, replaced by a beauty of strength.

Incineroar, due to its strong performance over consecutive generations in the games, has been dubbed by players as the number one Pokemon in the universe.

Unlike its previous quadruped forms, Incineroar is a bipedal Pokemon, its robust body full of well-developed muscles, enhancing its innate power.

The flaming belt around Wolf’s waist serves as its fire-release mechanism, differing among fire-type Pokemon; Incineroar’s fire erupts from its belly button.

Their hands pressed against each other seemingly controlling one another, but Wolf had a backup plan.

The flame around his waist ignited fiercely, bursting flame directed at Nekomamushi.

The stronger the battle spirit, the higher the temperature of Incineroar’s flames becomes. Being a naturally combative Pokemon, personality and ability stack to unleash even greater combat power.

Pretending to be a friend of one’s mother, causing various irrational disturbances in Wano Kuni, and now trying to make a move. Against such peculiar individuals, their approach is straightforward: fight first, ask questions later.

If the fight is winnable, engage; if not, create a commotion. This is Wano Kuni, even if the officials are busy lately, there are high-level officials stationed here. If the chaos is big enough, it’ll only take a few minutes for someone to be drawn over.

Even if other officials are absent, Queen will promptly arrive upon spotting an issue.

Caring for his safety is one thing; moreover, he’s entrusted with overseeing Wano Kuni’s defense security to build his own fortress of safety.

If foreign enemies stir up trouble within Wano Kuni, regardless of the cause, Queen can’t escape the consequences.

The swiftest is Zeraora, yet even in such moments, Queen is likely to be more anxious than the father Zeraora.

The explosive flame erupted in Nekomamushi’s chest, instantaneously burning his chest to a charred blackness.

The close-range flame release also affected Wolf, but being a fire-type himself, he wouldn’t be harmed by his own flames; he only can’t undergo Elementalization. In terms of temperature, Incineroar’s flames are higher than the Flame-Flame Fruit.

With both hands restrained, the burning flames continuously transmitted pain. To extinguish the flames, Nekomamushi rotated his body sideways, along with Wolf, rolling down the hillside, attempting to smother the fire using this method.

Incineroar compensated for the physical size gap, but Nekomamushi’s heft inherently overshadowed Wolf. Though 20 years younger, he’s still eight years older than Wolf, not entirely losing the ability to resist.

“Stupid older brother, I’d like to see how you explain if you burn the forest when you get home.”

The Moon Lion hasn’t even come into play; Wolf has cards yet to reveal. Miaona isn’t worried about her brother’s safety. Moreover, she has another enemy in front of her, although Inuarashi’s attention was drawn to Nekomamushi.

Nekomamushi’s condition appeared far worse than Wolf’s.

“Nekomamushi… what?!”

Suddenly, in front of Inuarashi emerged several plants of various shapes, some with blooming flowers and others in budding form. They had silently coated themselves onto Inuarashi’s fur.

“Don’t underestimate me; your troubles are no lesser than that cat’s.”

Boom! Boom!

As she spoke, those plants exploded entirely, peculiar pollen replacing the smoke of gunpowder, yet the kinetic energy from the natural explosion wasn’t any weaker than gunpowder.

Miaona’s appearance underwent a transformation too; unlike Incineroar’s macho style, hers was more akin to a magical masked allure.

The final evolution of Sprigatito, Meowscarada.

Apart from the flower seeds exploding on Inuarashi just now, a flower bud hovered beside her.

This wasn’t floating; Miaona controlled the flower through tendrils extending from her body, but apart from herself, outsiders can’t see the connecting plants.

Meowscarada has a special neckline structure; the leaves growing on the neck resemble a cape.

A cape made of plant leaves, yet similar to the structure behind Zeraora, both composed of fur.

The inside of the cape automatically reflects light, rendering the stem controlling the bud invisible, achieving this floating effect.

Compared to Wolf’s fiery combat style, Miaona’s attacks are more ingenious. While Inuarashi’s attention was divided by Wolf, her floral traps were completed.

Delivering the explosive bouquet unnoticed to the enemies’ side, surrounding them with traps to draw them into her combat zone, having the flower bombs explode at a fitting moment is the combat mode of Meowscarada.

The aftermath of the prior explosions hadn’t dissipated yet, and the magical bouquet appeared once more out of thin air beside Inuarashi. As Inuarashi was about to evade, a sudden force from underfoot ensnared by invisible stems, followed by the complete energy detonation of the bouquet.

Not just Inuarashi, but even near Nekomamushi, the same phenomenon occurred.

“Endless bloom, thanks for watching.”

The exclusive move of Meowscarada, an almost unavoidable magical bouquet.

Although the siblings had already assigned their opponents, it was a double battle, so it’s normal to look after your teammate when the situation is right.

Nekomamushi was already in bad shape, and after being hit by Miaona’s Thousand Variations, the grip on Wolf’s arms loosened, losing constraint over them.

Previously, the rolling could still be described as “mutual destruction,” but now it’s different. Wolf’s fists were enveloped in flames, and the flaming belt around his waist started spewing fire, transforming him into a high-speed spinning fire whirlpool.

With his arms as weapons, Wolf continuously hammered Nekomamushi’s head with his series of attacks, but he didn’t shout out the move’s name like Miaona did.

He didn’t know why this move was called “Darkest Lariat,” although it was useful, the name was too embarrassing. When practicing this move initially, he always felt those Farfetch’d by the side were mocking him.

The siblings had good synergy, perfectly hitting Nekomamushi and Inuarashi together.

“Brother, why do I feel like I’ve seen the name Nekomamushi before?”

“In mom’s diary, just like Uncle Queen, they’re marked in red, but I remember that was over twenty years ago, back when mom and dad weren’t married yet.”

Setsuna’s diary always helps later generations understand past events. Initially, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi addressed each other with derogatory terms like stupid cat or stinking dog, but Inuarashi just called Nekomamushi’s name.

Nekomamushi, having offended Setsuna quite a bit back then, was also a particularly marked individual.

“Why do I feel this is so troublesome….”

“I feel the same way. Let someone else worry about it.”

Saying this, a fireball appeared in Wolf’s hand, intending to throw it into the sky as a signal flare. They never brought Rotom or Radio Snail when playing outside, giving them a perfect excuse not to take calls.

After all, within Wano Kuni, Zeraora just let them be.

Seeing Wolf throw the fireball upward, Inuarashi became anxious instead. Miaona and Wolf were too young and hadn’t completely lost the ability to move. As he saw them about to send a signal, Inuarashi unexpectedly jumped to block the fireball with his body.

“Stupid cat, go take Lord Momonosuke and leave! I’ll hold them off!”

Inuarashi never expected these two kids to be so strong in battle. If he had known, he would have decided to escape with Momonosuke.

In the current situation, it was impossible to retreat unscathed. What he could do was buy time, trying his best to prevent the signal from being sent, giving Nekomamushi and Momonosuke some evacuation space.

But given the vast gap in strength, even risking his life, some things couldn’t be accomplished.

Though Inuarashi blocked the fireball with his body, a piercing buzzing sounded from not far away, and a dazzling light cluster appeared in the sky alongside the noise.

On the hill behind, Melo sat on Kumade’s head, holding a small signal flare launcher.

“Brother Wolf, you’re trying to send a signal, right? Does this work?”

“Uh… well done.”

Wolf gave a thumbs-up, then, along with Miaona, blocked Inuarashi and Nekomamushi. As for Melo…

It wasn’t that he wasn’t confident, but fighting Kumade wasn’t something he could handle, a lesson learned painfully in his childhood.

The signal gun in Melo’s hand was custom-made by Mandfeish through Queen – waterproof, pressure-resistant, and extremely bright, specially reserved for Melo’s use.

Putting aside everything else, even if it was daytime, it wouldn’t stop the entire Wano Kuni from seeing the signal here, especially Mandfeish himself.

Setsuna and Zeraora were not at home, so Mandfeish didn’t exchange childcare experiences with them. He was drinking tea and chatting at Queen’s place. Seeing the signal flare in the sky, he naturally couldn’t stay calm.

“Brother Queen, something seems to have happened to Melo. I have to go; we can talk later.”

“This is Wano Kuni, and she has Zeraora’s two brats next to her. What could possibly happen?”

“I don’t know, but I told Melo only to use that in emergencies.”

Saying this, he ignored Queen, disappearing in a flash.

“Truly a daughter-con… what could possibly happen in Wano Kuni? They’ve smashed through my window.”

Queen muttered to himself while drinking tea, looking exceptionally calm, but that calmness lasted less than a second.

Boom!

Queen rushed in a straight line towards that light spot, originally just having the glass shattered by Mandfeish. Now, however, an entire wall was taken down.

Melo didn’t have a history of pranks; for her to use the signal flare, something serious must have happened. If, by any chance, something went wrong….

Queen did not want to see some organization like an anti-Queen alliance growing stronger.

When it came to his biological daughter, Mandfeish’s response was fast enough, but even so, Queen sped past him like an afterimage. That speed left Mandfeish in awe.

“Brother Queen… so fast?”
