Apocalypse: My SSS Ability Changes Every Few Days
Chapter 114: Downfall!
Boom!
When the gigantic mutated bear fell forward onto its face, the impact shook the ground as if there was an earthquake.
Even Riley, Terry and Brian, who were Awakened, couldn’t stay on their feet and they had to put their hands onto the ground to keep themselves stable while the ground shook and the debris flew all over.
Alex leaped down from the shoulder of the gigantic mutated bear and he glanced at his handiwork.
As he did so, a familiar sound erupted in his mind.

[Day 2 of 3 for SSS Necromancer Ability.]
Alex was astonished at the generous reward from the system.
The resources could last him and the others a long time until the livestock rearing plan went into operation.
But he had no time to think about it right now.
He glanced at the towering body of the gigantic mutated bear in front of him and gave out a sigh.
The inside of the mutated bear was now a mangled mass that had been decimated by his pillars of lightning, so he wasn’t too sure if his SSS Necromancer Ability would be able to bring it back as one of his undead army.
He figured he could give it a try.
Even if it didn’t work, the tissues of the gigantic mutated bear should come in handy for Teresa and her research team.
With this in mind, he held his hands up at the body of the gigantic mutated bear.
A dark glow appeared in his hands and they extended out into threads as usual.
The dark glowing threads burrowed into the head of the mutated bear and they started to do their work.
Alex could feel much more of his energy being drained as usual but the whole process went on much longer than he had expected.
Beads of sweat appeared on his forehead while he tried to sustain the dark glowing threads that kept going.
Riley, Terry and Brian, who had come over, stood beside him and glanced at what was going on with a frown.
They had never seen Alex being tired before with all of his abilities, and this was the first time.
All of them stood and waited silently while being on alert for any other incoming dangers.
Alex didn’t know how long it was before he could feel the gigantic mutated bear had a connection with him and it started moving again.
The ground shook with its every move, and the trembling stopped after the mutated bear was upright on its feet.
"What the hell? You did it?" Riley lifted his head and marveled at the gigantic mutated bear.
Terry and Brian also thought the same.
"But how are you going to keep it?" Terry asked when he realized how large the mutated bear was up close.
Alex shrugged at him and said, "All of you alright?"
He saw the blood stains on their shirts and bodies so he asked.
They shrugged back at him and said, "Nothing too serious."
Alex nodded his head and said, "Then, we need to stay overnight at the town to recuperate first before venturing further to Fort Ramsey."
"Sounds like a plan." His friends agreed in unison.
After checking on his friends he walked up to the gigantic mutated bear and he put his hand onto the feet of it.
Whoosh.
In an instant, the gigantic mutated bear disappeared from sight and it was stored into his storage space.
"Wait, you could do this all along? Why did you let the undead march into your storage portals before this?" Terry was perturbed and asked.
Alex gave him a grin and said, "I just thought it looked much cooler than this."
Riley, Terry and Brian rolled their eyes at him and they shook their heads.
They headed back to the car and got into it without any hesitation.
After the death of the Stage V mutated beast, who knows what it might draw attention to within the vicinity.
Vroom.
Riley started the engine of the car as soon as possible and the car turned back towards where they came from.
Along the way, there was only silence and the trembling of the car whenever it hit a bump.
Alex glanced out of the window and saw that the sun was setting.
And without any road lamps working, everything in the surroundings was slowly turning dark.
"Stop right there!" Familiar voices shouted at them when they got to the road leading into the town again.
Riley stopped the car and Alex’s head popped out from the window.
When the two who were on guard detail saw him, they were surprised to see him again so soon.
"Didn’t you venture out to take care of the huge mutated beast?" They knew what Alex and his friends were up to but they didn’t have much hope in it.
"It’s done. We killed the huge mutated beast."
"You... What? You killed it?" The two guards couldn’t believe their ears when they heard what Alex had said.
From what they knew, the huge mutated beast was towering like a skyscraper.
No one in his right mind would think that the young man before them was able to take it down.
And on top of that, it was within such a short amount of time.
"Alex?" Norton and the other townsfolk also came out from the town to check on what was happening, and he was equally surprised to see Alex and his friends again so soon.
"We got it done, but we need to rest for the night before venturing out to Fort Ramsey." Alex said with a shrug.
